பிரபுதேவா – வடிவேலு இருவரும் இணைந்து நடித்துள்ள ‘பேங் பேங்’ திரைப்படத்தின் பத்திரிகையாளர் சந்திப்பு சென்னையில் நடைபெற்றது. கே.ஆர்.ஜி. (KRG) குழுமம் சார்பில் கண்ணன் ரவி தயாரித்துள்ள இப்படத்தை சாம் ரோட்ரிகஸ் இயக்கியுள்ளார்.

நகைச்சுவை, ஆக்‌ஷன் என வித்தியாசமான கலவையில் உருவாகியுள்ள இப்படம், ஜாம்பி பின்னணியில் அமைந்த ஆக்‌ஷன் திரில்லராகத் தயாராகியுள்ளது. பிரபுதேவா, வடிவேலு, பப்லு பிருத்விராஜ், அனு கீர்த்தி, யாவீ, பீட்டர் உள்ளிட்ட பலர் நடித்துள்ளனர்.

H.C. வேணு மற்றும் விக்னேஷ் வாசு ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்துள்ள இப்படத்திற்கு யுவன் சங்கர் ராஜா இசையமைத்துள்ளார். ஆண்டனி படத்தொகுப்புப் பணிகளையும், டான் பாலா கலை இயக்கத்தையும் கவனித்துள்ளனர். தீபக் ரவி இணைத் தயாரிப்பாளராகப் பணியாற்றியுள்ளார்.

படத்தின் பணிகள் நிறைவடைந்து விரைவில் திரைக்கு வரவுள்ள நிலையில், படக்குழுவினர் சென்னையில் பத்திரிகையாளர்களைச் சந்தித்தனர்.

படத்தொகுப்பாளர் ஆண்டனி:

தயாரிப்பாளர் கண்ணன் ரவியுடன் பணியாற்றிய அனுபவம் மிகவும் வித்தியாசமானது என்று குறிப்பிட்ட ஆண்டனி, படத்தின் இறுதிக்கட்டப் பணிகள் முடிந்ததும் அவரைத் திரையிடலுக்கு அழைத்ததாகத் தெரிவித்தார்.

மூன்று ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பு தீபாவளி நிகழ்ச்சியில் மேடையேறியதை நினைவுகூர்ந்த இயக்குநர் சாம் ரோட்ரிகஸ், தற்போது மீண்டும் தீபாவளிக்கு முந்தைய நாளில் ‘பேங் பேங்’ படத்தின் நிகழ்ச்சியில் கலந்துகொள்வது மகிழ்ச்சியளிப்பதாகக் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

தயாரிப்பாளர் கண்ணன் ரவி குறித்து பேசிய அவர், வெளிநாட்டில் வசதியான வாழ்க்கையை அமைத்துக்கொண்ட பிறகும் தனது சொந்த மண்ணையும், தமிழ் மக்களையும் மறக்காமல் அவர்களுக்காகப் பல்வேறு உதவிகளைச் செய்து வருபவர் என்று பாராட்டினார்.

A Zombie Action Thriller Featuring Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu – The Team of ‘Bang Bang’ Meets the Press in Chennai!

The press meet of ‘Bang Bang’, featuring the exciting combination of Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu, was held in Chennai. Produced by renowned producer Kannan Ravi under the banner of KRG Group and directed by Sam Rodrigues, the film is gearing up for its theatrical release.

The film features Prabhu Deva, Vadivelu, Babloo Prithiveeraj, Anu Keerthi, Yaavi, Peter and several others in prominent roles. Cinematography is handled by H.C. Venu and Vignesh Vasu, while Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music. Antony is in charge of editing, and Don Bala has handled the art direction. Designed as a zombie-based action thriller, the film is produced by Kannan Ravi, with Deepak Ravi serving as the co-producer.

Editor Antony Shares His Memorable Experience with Producer Kannan Ravi

Editor Antony began by extending his Diwali wishes to everyone. Speaking about his experience working with producer Kannan Ravi, he said that although he had worked with several producers before, his association with Kannan Ravi had been particularly memorable.

He revealed that after completing the editing work for the film, he contacted Kannan Ravi in Chennai and invited him to watch the film. However, the producer asked him to come to Dubai and screen it there instead. When Antony reached Dubai, Kannan Ravi suggested that he relax for two weeks before arranging the screening. After watching the film, the producer expressed his happiness and assured the team that he would promote it extensively.

Antony added that Kannan Ravi’s dedication and enthusiasm made him wish for the film to achieve great success.

Costume Designer Swaroopa on Her Debut Film

Costume designer Swaroopa said that ‘Bang Bang’ marks her debut in the film industry. She explained that the costume designs for the actors were based entirely on the director’s vision.

After conducting research and discussing the concepts with the director and his team, she executed the designs according to his guidance. She expressed her happiness at being part of the project.

Director Sam Rodrigues Praises Producer Kannan Ravi

Director Sam Rodrigues recalled participating in a similar Diwali event three years ago and said that it was special to be back on stage once again, this time promoting ‘Bang Bang’ on the eve of Diwali.

Speaking about producer Kannan Ravi, he described him as someone who has been the talk of the town in recent times, with several positive and negative opinions circulating about him. He also expressed his expectation that Kannan Ravi would offer clarity on the various discussions surrounding him.

Recalling Kannan Ravi’s journey in Dubai during the 1990s, Sam said that he had grown alongside the development of the country. He pointed out that while many people move abroad and settle into comfortable lives, only a few continue to remain deeply connected to their homeland and make efforts to contribute to its development.

Drawing a comparison with Zoho founder Sridhar Vembu, the director said that Kannan Ravi had also made a conscious decision to give back to the place where he was born. He appreciated the producer’s contributions to Tamil cinema and the support he had extended to various film industry associations.

Speaking about the film, Sam Rodrigues said that both Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu had given their complete cooperation and dedicated performances to the project.

Anu Keerthi Looks Forward to the Film’s Release

Actress Anu Keerthi said that ‘Bang Bang’ is her second Tamil film. She thanked the director and producer for offering her an interesting role in the project.

Working alongside accomplished artistes such as Vadivelu and Prabhu Deva was an unforgettable experience, she said. She also expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to travel abroad and participate in the film’s overseas shooting schedule, adding that she was eagerly waiting for the film to reach theatres.

Producer Kannan Ravi Reveals Interesting Details About ‘Bang Bang’

Producer Kannan Ravi began his address by extending Diwali wishes to everyone. He spoke about his strong connection with his hometown and his long-standing commitment to social welfare activities.

He revealed that for more than 25 years, he had made it a tradition to celebrate festivals such as Diwali and Pongal in his hometown with relatives, friends and local residents. He also explained his belief that a portion of one’s earnings should be spent for the welfare of society.

Speaking about how ‘Bang Bang’ came together, Kannan Ravi revealed that Prabhu Deva was the person who first introduced the project to him.

Prabhu Deva approached him with the story, explaining that it was a zombie-based film directed by a newcomer, and requested him to listen to the script. Kannan Ravi said that he found the story different and immediately believed that director Sam Rodrigues had the potential to move to the next level through this project.

He appreciated the director for assembling a talented technical team despite being a newcomer. He also thanked Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu for their wholehearted cooperation throughout the making of the film.

Sharing an interesting incident from the shooting schedule, Kannan Ravi revealed that he was the one who initially suggested shooting the film in Indonesia.

He recalled that a volcano on the island, which had reportedly remained dormant for nearly 20 years, erupted while the film crew was shooting there. Interestingly, the team managed to capture the volcanic eruption on camera as well.

In a humorous moment, he compared himself to the volcano, saying that he too could erupt at any time, as he was an ordinary human being with emotions such as anger, love and affection.

He also revealed that the film features four heroines and praised all of them for their performances and cooperation on the sets. Although their characters fight with one another in the film, the actresses maintained a friendly and supportive atmosphere during the shoot.

Kannan Ravi further explained that although the film is based on a zombie concept, he had offered certain suggestions from the perspective of audiences who purchase tickets and watch films in theatres. The director and the team accepted his suggestions and incorporated the necessary changes to make the film more engaging.

Expressing confidence in the final output, he said that ‘Bang Bang’ was truly a collaborative effort and that he believed the film would create a strong impact among audiences.
