ஆகஸ்ட் 14-ல் திரைக்கு வரும் ‘ஆலி’ – புதிய தலைமுறை படைப்பாளிகளின் உணர்வுபூர்வமான திரைப்படம்!

புதிய முகங்கள், புதிய சிந்தனைகள், வித்தியாசமான கதைக்களங்கள் ஆகியவற்றை மையமாகக் கொண்டு மலையாளத் திரையுலகில் தொடர்ந்து தரமான படைப்புகள் உருவாகி வருகின்றன. நட்சத்திர நடிகர்களின் படங்களுக்கு இணையாக, இளம் படைப்பாளிகளின் படங்களும் ரசிகர்களின் கவனத்தை ஈர்த்து வெற்றிப் பாதையில் பயணித்து வருகின்றன.

தமிழ்நாடு – கேரள எல்லைப் பகுதியை பின்னணியாகக் கொண்டு நகரும் இப்படத்தின் கதை, ஒரு இளம் பெண்ணின் வாழ்க்கையை மையமாகக் கொண்டது. காதல், குடும்ப உறவுகள், சமூக மரபுகள், மத வேறுபாடுகள் மற்றும் எதிர்பாராத வாழ்க்கைச் சம்பவங்கள் அவளது வாழ்வில் ஏற்படுத்தும் தாக்கங்களை உணர்வுபூர்வமாகச் சித்தரிக்கிறது. மதம் மற்றும் ஜாதி எல்லைகளைக் கடந்து நடைபெறும் திருமணமே படத்தின் பரபரப்பான உச்சக்கட்டமாக அமைந்துள்ளது. சமூக ஒற்றுமை மற்றும் மனிதநேயத்தை வலியுறுத்தும் இந்தக் கதை, அனைத்து தரப்பு ரசிகர்களையும் கவரும் வகையில் உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

இப்படத்தை டாக்டர் கிருஷ்ணா பிரியதர்ஷன் எழுதி இயக்கியுள்ளார். பெண் இயக்குநராக மட்டுமல்லாமல், படத்தின் பாடல்களையும் தாமே எழுதி தனது பன்முகத் திறமையை வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ளார்.

மன்ஹர் சினிமாஸ் நிறுவனம் தயாரித்துள்ள இப்படத்திற்கு ரினாஸ் நாசர் ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்துள்ளார். அபு ஜியாத் படத்தொகுப்பை கவனித்துள்ளார்.

A wave of fresh talent and innovative storytelling continues to redefine Malayalam cinema, with young filmmakers delivering content-driven films that have earned both critical acclaim and commercial success. Joining this new generation of meaningful cinema is ‘Aali’, a bilingual film made simultaneously in Tamil and Malayalam, featuring an ensemble of fresh faces and emerging talents.

Blending romance, family emotions, culture, faith, and social values, Aali promises to offer audiences a deeply moving cinematic experience.

A Story Rooted in Love and Humanity

Set against the scenic backdrop of the Tamil Nadu–Kerala border, Aali follows the emotional journey of a young woman as she navigates love, family relationships, religion, cultural traditions, and life’s unexpected turns. The film explores how personal choices challenge long-standing social barriers, culminating in a powerful climax centered on an interfaith and inter-caste marriage.

With its strong emotional core and socially relevant theme, the film aims to celebrate humanity beyond the boundaries of religion and caste.

Cast

The film stars Prajin, Dr. Krishna Priyadarshan, Kailash, Krishna Prasad, Latha Das, Dr. Rajith Kumar, Sourav Shyam, Aadya Prasad (Shruthi), Manhar Priyadarshan, Joby, Mansad Leela, Suresh Thiruvalla, and several others in pivotal roles.

Crew

Aali is written and directed by Dr. Krishna Priyadarshan, who has also penned the film’s lyrics, showcasing her versatility as both a filmmaker and lyricist. The film is produced under the Manhar Cinemas banner.

The cinematography is handled by Rinas Nasser, while Abu Jiyad serves as the editor.

The music has been composed collaboratively by Ramavarma Thampuran, Suresh, Ratheesh Roy, RR Brothers, and Shraddha Parvathy. The Arabic and Hindi songs have been composed by Ratheesh Roy.

The soundtrack features vocals by Arabic singer Hussain, Hindi singer Sampath, along with Aravind Venugopal, Rithu Krishna, and Saritha Rajeev.

The film’s sound design (SFS) is by N. Shabu Cheruvallur, DI has been completed by Sajay C.R., choreography is by Atul Radhakrishnan and Sunitha Noel Hai, art direction is by Akhilesh and Shiju Abhaskar, while Sreedhar has served as the production controller.

Combining emotional storytelling with a strong social message, Aali is expected to resonate with audiences across languages and cultures.
