Actress Roja is all set to make her return to the silver screen after a long gap with Lenin Pandian, taking on a character that is quite different from the roles she has played in the past.
Speaking about her comeback, Roja said the opportunity came to her unexpectedly. At a time when she was focusing on television shows and her political commitments, she heard the story narrated by director Bala through her friend Subbu. She revealed that the way the story was narrated immediately allowed her to visualize the entire film, prompting her to agree to the project without hesitation.
Roja, who has often appeared in lively, outspoken or dominant roles, said that playing a much softer character with greater emphasis on performance has been a new experience for her.
She also expressed her happiness about being part of a production backed by Sathya Jyothi Films, a banner with a long-standing journey in the Tamil film industry. She particularly praised her experience of working with newcomer actor Darshan.
