துல்கர் சல்மான் நடிப்பில் உருவாகியுள்ள பிரம்மாண்ட திரைப்படமான “I Am Game”, வரும் செப்டம்பர் 3, 2026 அன்று உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது. படத்தின் வெளியீட்டை முன்னிட்டு சென்னையில் நடைபெற்ற தமிழ் பதிப்பிற்கான பிரம்மாண்ட முன் வெளியீட்டு விழாவில் படக்குழுவினர் கலந்துகொண்டு ரசிகர்களுடன் உற்சாகத்தை பகிர்ந்துகொண்டனர்.

சென்னை நிகழ்ச்சியில் நடிகர்கள் துல்கர் சல்மான், கதிர், ஆண்டனி வர்கீஸ், நடிகை சம்யுக்தா விஸ்வநாதன் உள்ளிட்ட படக்குழுவினர் கலந்துகொண்டு, “I Am Game” படத்தில் பணியாற்றிய அனுபவங்களையும் படத்தின் சிறப்பம்சங்களையும் பகிர்ந்துகொண்டனர்.

Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘I Am Game’ Grand Pre-Release Event Held in Chennai; Film Set for Worldwide Release on September 3

The grand pre-release event of Dulquer Salmaan’s much-anticipated film I Am Game was held in Chennai ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on September 3, 2026.

The makers are currently carrying out extensive promotional activities across different languages and regions as the film gears up for a pan-India release. As part of the Tamil promotions, the cast and crew came together in Chennai to interact with the media and share their experiences of working on the ambitious project.

The event witnessed the presence of Dulquer Salmaan, Kathir, Antony Varghese, Samyuktha Viswanathan and other members of the team.

“There Are Many More Surprises Beyond the Trailer” – Kathir

Actor Kathir said that I Am Game will offer audiences a completely different cinematic experience.

“I Am Game has several surprising elements. There is much more to the film than what audiences have seen in the trailer. Every scene has been carefully designed to offer viewers a unique experience. The cinematography will also be one of the film’s major highlights,” he said.

Kathir, who plays a cricket captain in the film, also spoke about preparing for the role.

“I had very little experience playing cricket before this film. Apart from playing bat cricket during my school days, I had never really played the sport seriously. I was surprised by the director’s confidence in casting me as a cricket captain. I had to learn cricket specifically for this film and put in a lot of effort for the character,” he shared.

He further appreciated Dulquer Salmaan’s passion for cinema and willingness to support fresh and unconventional stories.

“There is tremendous hard work and belief behind this film. Dulquer Salmaan’s interest in cinema and his willingness to take risks with new stories and different attempts is truly inspiring. We hope audiences will support I Am Game when it releases on September 3,” Kathir added.

“I Decided to Be Part of the Film the Moment I Heard the Story” – Samyuktha Viswanathan

Actress Samyuktha Viswanathan revealed that she immediately connected with the film when director Nahas Hidayath narrated the script to her.

“Having grown up watching and enjoying cinema, the emotional impact a film creates on me has always been important. When director Nahas Hidayath first narrated the story of I Am Game, I immediately decided that I wanted to be a part of it,” she said.

Speaking about her character, she added, “My role in the film is very different and emotionally close to me. The long shooting schedule in Hyderabad was like an intensive learning experience. Having to deliver the required emotions for a scene within a short period was challenging, but it taught me a great deal about acting.”

Samyuktha also described working with Dulquer Salmaan as a memorable experience.

“Although the film features a large number of characters, by the end of the shoot, we had all become like one big family. Audiences may have seen only a few characters in the trailer, but when they watch the complete film, they will understand the unity and hard work of the entire team,” she said.

Actor Antony Varghese expressed his happiness about attending his first event in Chennai.

Speaking about Dulquer Salmaan, Antony Varghese said, “Dulquer is a wonderful producer, a major actor and, most importantly, a great human being and a close friend. It was a खुशी to work with him.”

He also spoke about his friendship with director Nahas Hidayath.

“Nahas is a close friend of mine, and working with him was a lot of fun. The friendship and humorous moments we shared during the shoot made this experience unforgettable. I cannot reveal much about my character at this point, but audiences will have a special experience when they watch the film,” he added.

Dulquer added that Tamil audiences would feel a strong connection to I Am Game.

“When audiences watch I Am Game, they may feel like they are watching a Tamil film because the movie features several talented Tamil actors. This is also the biggest-budget and most ambitious production made by our company, Wayfarer Films, so far,” he said.

Praising his co-stars, Dulquer Salmaan said Kathir had delivered a highly natural and intense performance.

“Kathir has performed with great authenticity and intensity. He has brought a strong sense of credibility to his character,” he said.

Dulquer also praised filmmaker and actor Mysskin, describing him as an important part of the film.

“Mysskin is a major strength of this project. The enthusiasm and energy he brings are extraordinary. It is rare to find that kind of energy even among today’s younger generation,” he added.

He further stated that I Am Game could prove to be an important turning point in Samyuktha Viswanathan’s career and described Antony Varghese Pepe as one of the film’s major strengths.

“Antony Varghese is already a leading actor in Malayalam cinema, and he has made an impressive contribution to this film as well. I am confident that Tamil audiences will also celebrate him,” Dulquer said.

Talking about the film’s genre and entertainment value, Dulquer Salmaan said that I Am Game has been designed as a complete commercial entertainer.

He also praised composer Jakes Bejoy’s music, stating that the film has the potential to deliver a successful soundtrack.

Dulquer Salmaan’s Landmark 40th Film

Produced under the banner of Wayfarer Films by Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese, I Am Game is one of the biggest films in Dulquer Salmaan’s career and also marks his milestone 40th feature film.

The stylish fantasy thriller has been directed by Nahas Hidayath. The screenplay has been jointly written by Sajeev Baba, Ismail Abu Bakar and Bilal Moidu, while the dialogues have been written by Sajeev Baba, Adarsh Sukumaran and Shabas Rasheed.

The film features an ensemble cast including Antony Varghese, actor-filmmaker Mysskin, Kayadu Lohar, Kathir, Parth Tiwari and Samyuktha Viswanathan in prominent roles.

The music has been composed by Jakes Bejoy, while Jimshi Khalid has handled cinematography. The editing is by Shaman Chacko, with Ajayan Chalissery serving as the production designer.

The action sequences have been choreographed by Anbariv Masters. Zee Music has acquired the music rights of the film.
