“பள்ளிகளில் ‘சினிமா ரசனை கல்வி’ அவசியம்!” – முதல்வர் விஜய்க்கு இயக்குநர் சீனு ராமசாமி உருக்கமான கோரிக்கை
எழுத்தாளர் மற்றும் இயக்குநராக தனித்துவமான படைப்புகளை வழங்கி வரும் , தற்போது தனது புதிய நூலான ‘சினிமாவின் ஆன்மா’ மூலம் சமூக அக்கறை மிக்க கருத்தை முன்வைத்துள்ளார். இதுகுறித்து, தமிழக முதல்வர் அவர்களுக்கு அவர் வைத்துள்ள கோரிக்கை தற்போது கவனம் பெற்றுள்ளது.
இதுகுறித்து வெளியிட்டுள்ள வீடியோவில் சீனு ராமசாமி கூறியதாவது:
“பள்ளிகளில் விளையாட்டு, ஓவியம், இசை போன்ற பல நுண்கலைகள் கற்பிக்கப்படுகின்றன. ஆனால், மக்களின் வாழ்க்கையோடு மிகவும் நெருக்கமாக இருக்கும் சினிமாவைப் புரிந்துகொள்ளும் ‘சினிமா ரசனை கல்வி’ மட்டும் இல்லை என்பது வருத்தமாக உள்ளது.
இன்றைய குழந்தைகள் அதிக நேரத்தை செல்போன்களிலும் திரை உலகத்திலும் செலவிடுகின்றனர். அவர்கள் நல்ல திரைப்படங்களையும் தரமான காட்சிப்படுத்தலையும் அடையாளம் காணக் கற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டும். அது பெற்றோர், ஆசிரியர்கள் மற்றும் சமூகத்தின் பொறுப்பு.
அந்த எண்ணத்தில்தான் நான் ‘சினிமாவின் ஆன்மா’ என்ற நூலை எழுதியுள்ளேன். இது குழந்தைகளுக்கான புத்தகம் மட்டும் அல்ல; ஆரம்பப்பள்ளி ஆசிரியர்கள், சினிமா மாணவர்கள், திரைப்பட ஆர்வலர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் வழிகாட்டியாக இருக்கும் நூல்.
தமிழகத்தில் உள்ள பள்ளிகளில் தனி ஆய்வகங்கள் இருப்பதுபோல, மாணவர்களுக்கு தரமான திரைப்படங்களை திரையிட ‘ஹோம் தியேட்டர்’ வசதியுடன் சினிமா ரசனை கல்வியையும் அறிமுகப்படுத்த வேண்டும். புதியதாக அமைந்துள்ள முதல்வர் விஜய் அரசு இதை செயல்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்பதே என் வேண்டுகோள்,” என்றார்.
சினிமாவை வெறும் பொழுதுபோக்காக அல்லாமல், ஒரு கல்வி கருவியாக அணுக வேண்டிய அவசியத்தை வலியுறுத்தும் சீனு ராமசாமியின் இந்த கோரிக்கை தற்போது சமூக வலைதளங்களில் பரவலாக பேசப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

Acclaimed writer and filmmaker has now brought forward a socially relevant idea through his latest book ‘Cinemaavin Aathma’ (The Soul of Cinema). In a recently released video, he made a heartfelt appeal to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister regarding the importance of film appreciation education in schools.
Speaking in the video, Seenu Ramasamy said:
“Schools teach students various forms of art such as sports, painting, and music. However, there is still no proper education that helps children understand and appreciate cinema, which is deeply rooted in people’s everyday lives.
Today’s children spend most of their time with mobile phones and digital screens. It is our responsibility to help them identify what meaningful and quality cinema truly is. Parents, teachers, and society must collectively nurture this awareness.
With that intention, I wrote the book ‘Cinemaavin Aathma’. This is not merely a book for children; it is a guidebook for primary school teachers, cinema students, film lovers, and young audiences.
Just as schools have dedicated laboratories, I believe they should also have home theatre facilities where students can watch quality films that enhance their understanding, creativity, and artistic sensibilities. I request the newly formed Vijay government to introduce film appreciation education across schools in Tamil Nadu,” he said.
