Mumbai, India – 25 March 2026 — For over three decades, Pritish Nandy Communications (PNC) has evolved with each defining transition in Indian entertainment, moving seamlessly from terrestrial television and satellite broadcasting to cinema, premium television, and now the streaming-first era. Marking more than 30 years of storytelling innovation, PNC has unveiled a new brand film, tracing its journey across platforms and positioning the company firmly for its next phase of growth. The film has been created in collaboration with White Turtle Studios – A Trailer Park Group Company, the global creative studio renowned for its work with some of the world’s leading international studios and premium streaming platforms.
The nostalgic brand film charts the journey of Pritish Nandy Communications from its beginnings in 1993 to its current standing as one of India’s earliest publicly listed creative content companies. What began as a ‘tiny creative hot shop’ in South Mumbai, grew alongside every major shift in the media ecosystem, and the film reflects this progression through a tightly curated montage of PNC’s most recognisable titles, including The Pritish Nandy Show, Raj Kahani, Face Off, Chameli, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Kaante, Shabd, Ugly Aur Pagli, Modern Love Mumbai, Four More Shots Please! and The Royals, among others. It underscores the company’s consistent focus on distinctive storytelling and cultural authorship while highlighting its ability to adapt as formats evolved and audiences expanded. The film also highlights PNC’s role in taking Indian storytelling to audiences in over 240 countries and territories, underscoring its ambition to create stories that travel beyond borders.
Speaking on the brand film, Rangita Pritish Nandy, President and Creative Director, Pritish Nandy Communications, said, “This brand film reflects how we have grown alongside the industry itself over these three decades. When we began, in the 1990s, television was the primary medium. Over time, every new format demanded a shift in thinking. We embraced those shifts early and built across platforms without losing our creative identity. And today, we speak to audiences across the world. More than a milestone, this film is a moment of reflection — on the risks taken, the stories backed, and the cultural conversations we helped shape along the way. We remain curious, ambitious, and committed to building for the future – for new formats, new audiences, and new ways of telling stories that travel across borders and generations.”
On conceptualising and capturing the evolution of the brand through the film, Tamagna Ghosh, Managing Director – APAC, Trailer Park Group shared, ” Pritish Nandy Communications hasn’t just witnessed every era of Indian entertainment — it’s helped define them. Our job was to make sure the film felt as forward looking as the company itself.”
Reflecting on translating PNC’s three-decade legacy into a visual narrative, Ankit Bhatia, Executive Director & Co-Founder, White Turtle Studios said, “Thirty-two years of iconic titles is a creative challenge as much as it is a privilege. We wanted the film to feel alive, not archival.”
From its founding in 1993 to becoming storytellers to the world, Pritish Nandy Communications continues to position itself at the intersection of legacy and forward momentum. Three decades on, the company remains driven by the same instinct that sparked its beginnings, not confined by format but defined by its ability to reimagine storytelling for every era.
