மழை, காடு, ஆக்சன்… எல்லா சவால்களையும் தாண்டி ‘நோவா’வில் புதிய அவதாரம் எடுத்துள்ள ரைசா வில்சன்!
தமிழ் திரையுலகில் தனக்கென ஒரு இடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ள நடிகை ரைசா வில்சன், விரைவில் வெளியாகவுள்ள ஹாரர்-சயின்ஸ் பிக்ஷன் த்ரில்லர் திரைப்படமான ‘நோவா – பேஸ் ஒன்: தி அரைவல்’ மூலம் ரசிகர்களை வியக்க வைக்கும் புதிய பரிமாணத்தில் களமிறங்கவுள்ளார்.
ராயல் ஃபார்ச்சுனா கிரியேஷன்ஸ் தயாரிப்பில் உருவாகியுள்ள இப்படத்தை, விளம்பரத் திரைப்பட உலகில் அனுபவம் மிக்க இயக்குநர் மிலோ இயக்கியுள்ளார். ஹாரர், சூப்பர்நேச்சுரல், சயின்ஸ் பிக்ஷன் மற்றும் ஆக்சன் அம்சங்களை இணைத்து உருவாகியுள்ள இந்த திரைப்படம், தமிழ் சினிமாவில் அரிதாக முயற்சிக்கப்படும் கதைக்களங்களில் ஒன்றாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது.
இந்தப் படத்தில் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடித்துள்ள ரைசா வில்சன், தனது அனுபவங்களை பகிர்ந்தபோது, “இதுவரை நான் நடித்த எந்தக் கதாபாத்திரத்தையும் விட முற்றிலும் மாறுபட்ட வேடம் இது. ஒரு கதைக்குள் இன்னொரு கதை என்ற அமைப்பில் திரைக்கதை நகர்வது படத்தின் தனிச்சிறப்பு” என்று தெரிவித்தார்.
கேரளாவின் மறையூர் வனப்பகுதியில் நடைபெற்ற படப்பிடிப்பு குறித்து அவர் பேசுகையில், “சந்தன மரக் காடுகளுக்குள் அனுமதி பெற்று படப்பிடிப்பு நடத்துவது மிகவும் சவாலானது. மழை, கடும் பனி, சேறும் சகதியுமான பாதைகள், இரத்தம் உறிஞ்சும் அட்டைகள், வனவிலங்குகளின் சத்தங்கள் என பல்வேறு சிரமங்களை எதிர்கொண்டோம். ஆனால் படக்குழுவின் உற்சாகமும், இயக்குநரின் அர்ப்பணிப்பும் அந்த சவால்களை மறக்கச் செய்துவிட்டது” என்றார்.
குறிப்பாக படத்தின் ஆக்சன் காட்சிகளுக்காக சிறப்பு பயிற்சி பெற்றதாக கூறிய ரைசா, “விமல் ராம்போ மாஸ்டரின் வழிகாட்டுதலுடன் தீவிர பயிற்சி மேற்கொண்டேன். ஏற்கனவே ‘மிஸ்டர் எக்ஸ்’ படத்திற்காக சண்டைப் பயிற்சி பெற்றிருந்த அனுபவம், ‘நோவா’வில் பெரிதும் உதவியது” என குறிப்பிட்டார்.
சமீபத்தில் வெளியான ‘மிஸ்டர் எக்ஸ்’ திரைப்படம் தனக்கு நல்ல வரவேற்பை பெற்றுத் தந்துள்ளதாக கூறிய அவர், தனது சில படங்கள் படப்பிடிப்பு முடிந்தும் வெளியீட்டை எதிர்நோக்கி இருப்பதாலேயே ரசிகர்களுக்கு தன்னைப் பற்றிய இடைவெளி ஏற்பட்டது போன்ற தோற்றம் உருவானதாக விளக்கமளித்தார்.
“‘காதலிக்க யாருமில்லை’, ‘சேஸ்’ போன்ற படங்கள் இன்னும் வெளியாகவில்லை. அதனால் என் திரைப்பயணத்தில் ஒரு இடைவெளி இருப்பது போல தோன்றியிருக்கலாம். ஆனால் தற்போது ‘மிஸ்டர் எக்ஸ்’ வெளியாகியுள்ளது. அடுத்ததாக ‘நோவா’ ரசிகர்களை சந்திக்க வருகிறது. இந்தப் படங்கள் தொடர்ந்து வெளியாகும்போது புதிய வாய்ப்புகளும் நிச்சயமாக வரும் என்ற நம்பிக்கை எனக்கு இருக்கிறது” என்று அவர் நம்பிக்கையுடன் தெரிவித்தார்.

Actress , who has carved a niche for herself in Tamil cinema, is all set to surprise audiences with a completely new avatar in the upcoming horror science-fiction thriller .
Produced by and directed by debut filmmaker , who comes with extensive experience in advertising films, NOVA blends horror, supernatural elements, science fiction and action into a unique cinematic experience. The film is being touted as one of the more ambitious genre ventures in recent Tamil cinema.
Speaking about her role in the film, Raiza revealed that it is unlike anything she has portrayed before. “The film unfolds as a story within a story, and that narrative structure is one of its biggest strengths. The character I play is entirely different from the roles I have done in the past, which is what drew me to the project,” she said.
Recalling the challenges faced during the shoot in the forests of Marayoor, Kerala, Raiza shared that the experience was far from easy. “Filming inside sandalwood forests, where permissions themselves are difficult to obtain, was a huge challenge. We had to deal with relentless rain, dense fog, muddy terrain, blood-sucking leeches and even the constant sounds of wildlife around us. However, the positive energy of the crew and the dedication of the director made those hardships feel worthwhile,” she explained.
The actress also highlighted the extensive preparation she underwent for the film’s action sequences. “I received specialized training under stunt master Vimal Rambo. My previous action training for Mr. X also helped me perform the demanding sequences in NOVA with greater confidence,” she noted.
Reflecting on her career, Raiza said that the recent release of brought her significant appreciation. She also addressed the perception that there had been a gap in her career, explaining that several completed projects are yet to see the light of day.
“Films like and have not been released yet, despite being completed. That is probably why it appears as though there has been a break in my journey. But now Mr. X has been released, and NOVA is next. As these films reach audiences, I am confident that new opportunities will follow,” she said optimistically.
With its unconventional storyline, thrilling narrative, action-packed moments and challenging production journey, NOVA: Phase One – The Arrival is expected to mark a significant turning point in Raiza Wilson’s career and showcase her in a bold new light.
