Rohit Saraf Looks Back at the Journey of The Revolutionaries Ahead of its OTT Premiere: For something that demanded so much transformation on the outside, the bigger journey ended up being inward
Rohit Saraf starrer The Revolutionaries is two days away from its OTT storm on Amazon Prime Video. The much-awaited series will see Saraf stepping into a space he’s never tapped into, a venture that has also got him equally excited as his fans, who are waiting with bated breath to see Saraf as Sachindranath Sanyal. Ahead of the premiere of the series, Rohit took to his social media handle to pen a heartwarming note, recalling the journey of The Revolutionaries.
“Everybody worked so incredibly hard on this. I worked so so hard on this. And now that we’re almost at the point where it isn’t ours anymore, I can’t help but think of all that’s gone into making it,” he says.
“The Revolutionaries has been one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever worked on. It challenged me as an actor, of course, but somewhere along the way it also challenged the way I think, the way I work, what I believe I’m capable of and, honestly, even the way I look at myself. For something that demanded so much transformation on the outside, the bigger journey ended up being inward,” he continues and adds, “I’ve had the most incredible people around me through all of this, and I know how much of what you’ll see on screen belongs to them too.”
His note also featured gratitude towards his fitness trainer who helped him achieve an unbelievable physical transformation that has nearly created an online storm of its own.
And lastly, Saraf concludes, “I’m SO excited to finally share everything that went into finding Sachin, becoming him, and figuring out my little place in this massive world we built so meticulously. There’s so much I haven’t shared yet and I can hardly wait.”
Directed by Nikkhil Advani, The Revolutionaries is scheduled to release on Amazon Prime Video on September 11.
