சத்தியத்தின் பாதை எளிதல்ல; அதை உணர்த்த வரும் ‘ப்ராமிஸ்’!

மனித வாழ்க்கையில் உண்மையையும் சத்தியத்தையும் கடைபிடிப்பது எவ்வளவு கடினமானது என்பதை பலர் அனுபவித்திருப்பார்கள். அந்தச் சத்தியம் ஒரு மனிதனின் வாழ்க்கையை எவ்வாறு சோதனைக்கு உட்படுத்துகிறது என்பதை உணர்வுபூர்வமாகச் சொல்லும் திரைப்படமாக உருவாகியுள்ளது ‘ப்ராமிஸ்’.
மகாத்மா காந்தியின் ‘சத்திய சோதனை’ சுயசரிதை முதல், அரிச்சந்திரனின் வரலாறு வரை சத்தியத்தின் மகத்துவம் பல வடிவங்களில் பேசப்பட்டு வந்துள்ளது. அந்தப் பாரம்பரிய சிந்தனையை நவீன வாழ்க்கைச் சூழலோடு இணைத்து திரையில் பதிவு செய்யும் முயற்சியாக ‘ப்ராமிஸ்’ திரைப்படம் உருவாகியுள்ளது.

வேலூர், ஓசூர், கிருஷ்ணகிரி உள்ளிட்ட வடதமிழகப் பகுதிகளில் படமாக்கப்பட்டுள்ள இப்படத்தின் முதல் பார்வை வெளியானபோதே ரசிகர்களின் கவனத்தை ஈர்த்தது. இயக்குநர் சேரன் மற்றும் ஒளிப்பதிவாளர்-நடிகர் நட்டி வெளியிட்ட அந்தப் போஸ்டர் சமூக வலைதளங்களில் பரவலாகப் பேசப்பட்டது. தொடர்ந்து ஏபி இன்டர்நேஷனல் யூடியூப் தளத்தில் வெளியான டிரைலரும் பல லட்சம் பார்வையாளர்களைப் பெற்று நல்ல வரவேற்பைப் பெற்றுள்ளது.
இப்படத்திற்கு பின்னணிக் குரல் வழங்கிய தேசிய விருது பெற்ற நடிகர் எம்.எஸ். பாஸ்கர், படத்தின் சில காட்சிகளைப் பார்த்து நெகிழ்ச்சியடைந்து படக்குழுவினரை நேரில் பாராட்டியதாகத் தகவல் வெளியாகியுள்ளது. அவரது பாராட்டு படக்குழுவினருக்கு மேலும் உற்சாகத்தை அளித்துள்ளது.

Truth Comes at a Price: ‘Promise’ Brings a Powerful Tale of Integrity to the Big Screen

Every individual faces moments in life when honesty and truth are put to the test. Exploring how a commitment to truth can shape, challenge, and transform a person’s life, the upcoming film “Promise” is set to offer an emotional and thought-provoking cinematic experience.
From Mahatma Gandhi’s autobiography The Story of My Experiments with Truth to the legendary tale of King Harishchandra, the value of truth has long been celebrated in Indian culture and tradition. Drawing inspiration from these timeless ideals, Promise presents a contemporary story that examines the power and consequences of staying true to one’s principles.
The film is written and directed by Arunkumar Sekaran, who also plays the lead role. Nadhiya Somu stars as the female lead, while Sujan, Amrish, Prathap, Gokul, Sundaravel, Rajkumar, Kalaivani and several others appear in key roles.
The cinematography is handled by Vinoth Kumar, with music composed by Saravana Dheepan. The songs are penned by Bala, while Sriram Vignesh serves as the editor.
Presented by N. Nagaraj, the film is jointly produced by Sangamithran Productions and Amman Arts Creations.
Shot across several locations in northern Tamil Nadu, including Vellore, Hosur and Krishnagiri, the film has already generated attention with its first-look poster, which was unveiled by filmmaker Cheran and actor-cinematographer Natty. The trailer, released through the AB International platform, has garnered several lakh views and introduced the film to a wider audience.
National Award-winning actor M.S. Bhaskar, who has lent his voice for the film’s narration, was reportedly moved after watching portions of the movie and praised the team for its emotional impact. His appreciation has further encouraged the filmmakers ahead of the release.
Blending heartfelt emotions with relatable life challenges, Promise aims to be a family-friendly entertainer that resonates with audiences of all ages. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on June 26, distributed by Action Reaction Jenish.
