லேடீஸ் சர்க்கிள் இந்தியா அமைப்பு மற்றும் ஸ்ரீ ராமச்சந்திரா மருத்துவக் கல்வி மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் இணைந்து ஏற்பாடு செய்திருந்த இந்த சாதனை முயற்சியை, திரைப்பட இயக்குநரும் தயாரிப்பாளருமான சௌந்தர்யா ரஜினிகாந்த் தொடங்கி வைத்தார்.

In a heartwarming initiative aimed at supporting cancer patients experiencing hair loss during treatment, a special hair donation event involving more than 800 participants was launched in Chennai.
The initiative was jointly organised by Ladies Circle India and Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute. Filmmaker and producer Soundarya Rajinikanth attended the event as the chief guest and officially inaugurated the remarkable social welfare initiative.
Addressing the gathering and later speaking to the media, Soundarya Rajinikanth shared her personal connection with the cause. She recalled witnessing her grandmother experience hair loss after being affected by cancer, adding that the experience helped her understand the emotional challenges faced by cancer patients.
She said that while cancer patients undergo several physical and emotional struggles, hair loss can significantly impact their confidence and well-being. She praised the participants who came forward to donate their hair, describing it as a meaningful and compassionate gesture that could bring hope and comfort to those battling the disease.
Soundarya also urged people to make positive use of social media by spreading awareness about meaningful social initiatives. She encouraged people to share and support such welfare-oriented campaigns, noting that greater awareness could inspire more individuals to participate in similar acts of kindness.
