‘மொத ராத்திரி’யில் மனதைப் பேச வைக்கும் கதாபாத்திரம் – அனிஷ்மா அனில்குமார்

தமிழ் சினிமாவில் இளம் நடிகையாக தனது தனித்துவமான நடிப்பின் மூலம் கவனம் ஈர்த்து வருகிறார் அனிஷ்மா அனில்குமார். ‘சிறை’, ‘யூத்’ உள்ளிட்ட படங்களில் தனது நடிப்பால் பாராட்டுகளைப் பெற்ற இவர், ஒரே மாதிரியான கதாபாத்திரங்களில் சிக்கிக் கொள்ளாமல், ஒவ்வொரு படத்திலும் வித்தியாசமான கதாபாத்திரங்களைத் தேர்வு செய்து வருகிறார்.

அந்த வரிசையில், தற்போது வெளியாகவுள்ள ‘மொத ராத்திரி’ திரைப்படம் அனிஷ்மாவுக்கு மற்றொரு முக்கியமான படமாக அமைந்துள்ளது. இப்படத்தில் அவர் நடிக்கும் கதாபாத்திரம் வெறுமனே கதாநாயகனுடன் பயணிக்கும் கதாபாத்திரமாக இல்லாமல், கதையின் உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான நகர்வுக்கு முக்கிய காரணமாக இருக்கிறது.

தனது கதாபாத்திரம் குறித்து அனிஷ்மா அனில்குமார் கூறுகையில், “‘மொத ராத்திரி’ படத்தில் என்னை மிகவும் ஈர்த்தது எனது கதாபாத்திரத்தின் உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான தன்மைதான். அந்தப் பெண்ணுக்குள் நிறைய எண்ணங்களும், எதிர்பார்ப்புகளும், குழப்பங்களும் இருக்கின்றன. ஆனால், அவற்றையெல்லாம் வெளிப்படையாக பேசக்கூடியவளாக அவள் இல்லை.

ஒரு பெண் தனது வாழ்க்கையில் முற்றிலும் புதிய சூழ்நிலைக்குள் செல்லும்போது மனதுக்குள் ஏற்படும் பல்வேறு உணர்வுகளை இந்தக் கதாபாத்திரம் பிரதிபலிக்கிறது. அதனால், வழக்கமான சினிமா கதாநாயகி போல இல்லாமல், நிஜ வாழ்க்கையில் இருக்கும் ஒரு பெண்ணைப் போலவே இந்தக் கதாபாத்திரத்தை அணுக வேண்டும் என்று நினைத்தேன்” என்றார்.

மேலும் அவர் கூறுகையில், “ஒரு நடிகையாக என்னுடைய இன்னொரு பரிமாணத்தை வெளிப்படுத்த இந்தப் படம் நல்ல வாய்ப்பை கொடுத்திருக்கிறது. படத்தில் நகைச்சுவை மற்றும் பொழுதுபோக்கு அம்சங்கள் இருந்தாலும், அதன் பின்னணியில் மிகவும் இயல்பான உணர்வுகள் இருக்கின்றன.

குறிப்பாக, ஒரு பெண் தனது வாழ்க்கையின் அடுத்த கட்டத்திற்குள் செல்லும்போது ஏற்படும் எதிர்பார்ப்பு, பதற்றம், தயக்கம், சந்தேகம் என பல விஷயங்கள் கதாபாத்திரத்தில் இருக்கின்றன. அவற்றை இயல்பாக வெளிப்படுத்துவது எனக்கு ஒரு நல்ல அனுபவமாக இருந்தது.

இந்தக் கதாபாத்திரத்தை எனக்கு வழங்கிய இயக்குநர் ராஜா கருப்பசாமிக்கும், தயாரிப்பாளர்களுக்கும் நன்றி. ரிஷிகாந்தும் சிறப்பாக நடித்திருக்கிறார். எங்களுடைய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் இருக்கும் பல விஷயங்களை பார்வையாளர்கள் தங்களுடைய வாழ்க்கையுடன் தொடர்புபடுத்திப் பார்ப்பார்கள் என்று நம்புகிறேன்” என்றார்.

‘மொத ராத்திரி’ படத்தின் சிறப்பு, நகைச்சுவை மற்றும் எதிர்பாராத சூழ்நிலைகளுக்கு நடுவிலும் கதாபாத்திரங்களின் உணர்வுகளை இயல்பாகக் கையாள்வதில் இருக்கிறது. குறிப்பாக, ஒரு பெண்ணின் வாழ்க்கையில் நிகழும் முக்கியமான மாற்றத்தைச் சுற்றி உருவாகும் மனநிலைகளை அனிஷ்மாவின் கதாபாத்திரம் பிரதிபலிக்கிறது.

பரத் சங்கர் இசையமைத்துள்ள இப்படத்திற்கு சுரேந்திரன் பரஞ்சோதி ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்துள்ளார். அசோக் அர்ஜுனன் படத்தொகுப்பு பணியை மேற்கொண்டுள்ளார். பூர்ணிமா ராமசாமி ஆடை வடிவமைப்பையும், ஏ. பாலுமகேந்திரா கலை இயக்கத்தையும் கவனித்துள்ளனர்.

Anishma Anilkumar Explores a New Emotional Dimension in ‘Motha Raathiri’

“My character carries several emotions within her without expressing them openly,” says Anishma Anilkumar

Young actor Anishma Anilkumar has been steadily making her mark in Tamil cinema with her choice of diverse roles. Having earned appreciation for her performances in films such as Sirai and Youth, the actor has consciously stayed away from playing similar characters and continues to explore roles that offer her something different.

Her upcoming film Motha Raathiri adds another interesting chapter to her journey. The film presents Anishma in a mature and emotionally layered role, with her character becoming an important part of the story as it explores expectations, relationships, confusion and the emotions that emerge when a woman enters a completely new phase of her life.

Speaking about her role, Anishma Anilkumar said, “What attracted me most to my character in Motha Raathiri was its emotional depth. She carries many thoughts and feelings within herself, but she is not someone who openly expresses everything she feels.

I feel there is something beautiful about portraying a character like this. Women often experience several emotions at the same time, and those emotions can become even more intense when they find themselves in a completely new situation. So, rather than presenting her as a conventional female lead, I wanted to approach the character with a sense of realism and make her feel like someone we could actually meet in real life.”

She further added, “This film has given me an opportunity to explore a more mature side of myself as an actor. There are plenty of humorous and entertaining moments in the film, but underneath those situations are very genuine emotions.

The character goes through feelings such as excitement, anxiety, hesitation and uncertainty as she steps into a new phase of her life. It was a great experience for me to bring these emotions to the screen.

I am thankful to director Raja Karuppasamy and the producers for giving me the opportunity to play this character. Rishikanth has also performed very well. I believe audiences will be able to relate to many aspects of our characters and see reflections of their own experiences in them.”

Unlike a character that exists merely to serve the comic situations in the story, Anishma’s role in Motha Raathiri explores the quieter and deeper emotions that arise during a significant transition in a woman’s life.

As the story moves through relationships, family situations and unexpected events, Anishma’s character adds an emotional layer to the film and becomes an important part of its narrative.

The film stars Rishikanth and Anishma Anilkumar in the lead roles, alongside Chetan, A. Venkatesh, Bhagavathi Perumal, Abdul Lee, Shelly Kishore, Sangeetha Balan, Banuppriya, Sumithra Devi L., Varshini Karmmēgam, Karthikeyan, Velan and Kaushik Kapilan, among others.

Bharath Sankar has composed the music, while Surendran Paranjothi is the cinematographer and Ashok Arjun is the editor. Poornima Ramasamy is the costume designer, while A. Balumahendra has handled the art direction.

Directed by debutant Raja Karuppasamy, Motha Raathiri is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers.

For Anishma Anilkumar, who has already attracted attention through her diverse choices early in her career, Motha Raathiri promises to be another significant film. The film gives her an opportunity to explore a deeply emotional character and showcase a more mature dimension of her acting.
