Chennai: Director and producer Zenofar Fathima, who has been actively involved in international film production based in Dubai, is now planning to expand her next phase of cinematic journey with Chennai as a key creative base. Alongside her ongoing film projects in Dubai, she is also working on developing new creative ventures in her hometown, Chennai.

Speaking about her connection to Chennai, Zenofar Fathima said:

“Dubai has been a very important part of my filmmaking journey. At the same time, Chennai is my birthplace, so I have always had a personal connection with this city. Coming back to Chennai feels like a new beginning for me.

My goal is to create stories that go beyond borders. I want to bring together talented artists from both India and the UAE on a single platform. I see this not just as an expansion of work, but as a long-term creative relationship between two film ecosystems,” she said.

Among Zenofar Fathima’s notable works is the film ‘Ayah – The Power of Dua’, created in collaboration with A.R. Rahman’s Firdaus Studio, which received attention at international film festivals.
