சென்னை: திருமணம் என்றாலே மனைவி கணவன் வீட்டுக்குச் செல்வதுதான் வழக்கமான நடைமுறை. ஆனால், அந்த வழக்கத்தையே தலைகீழாக மாற்றி, திருமணத்துக்குப் பிறகு மனைவியின் வீட்டிலேயே கணவன் குடியேறினால் என்ன நடக்கும்? இந்த வித்தியாசமான கேள்வியை மையமாக வைத்து உருவாகியிருக்கிறது ‘பியார் பிரேமா கல்யாணம்’.

‘பியார் பிரேமா காதல்’ படத்தின் மூலம் கவனம் பெற்ற இயக்குநர் இளன், இந்தப் படத்தின் மூலம் இயக்குநராக மட்டுமல்லாமல் கதாநாயகனாகவும் களமிறங்கியுள்ளார். ரைஸ் ஈஸ்ட் என்டர்டெயின்மென்ட் தயாரித்துள்ள இப்படத்திற்கு யுவன் சங்கர் ராஜா இசையமைத்துள்ளார். படத்தின் டிரெய்லர் வெளியீட்டு விழா இன்று சென்னையில் படக்குழுவினர் மற்றும் திரைப்பிரபலங்கள் முன்னிலையில் நடைபெற்றது.

இன்றைய தலைமுறையின் காதல், திருமணம், குடும்ப உறவுகள் குறித்த பார்வை எவ்வாறு மாறியுள்ளது என்பதையே நகைச்சுவையுடன் பேசுகிறது இப்படம். திருமணத்திற்குப் பிறகு தனது பெற்றோரை விட்டு பிரிய விரும்பாத மனைவியின் முடிவை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, அவளது வீட்டிலேயே கணவன் வசிக்கத் தொடங்குகிறார். அதன்பிறகு அந்தக் குடும்பத்தில் ஏற்படும் சூழல்கள், எதிர்பாராத சம்பவங்கள் மற்றும் உறவுகளுக்குள் உருவாகும் சிக்கல்கள் ஆகியவை கதையின் முக்கிய அம்சங்களாக அமைந்துள்ளன.

படத்தின் டிரெய்லரைப் பார்த்த இயக்குநர் வெற்றிமாறன், இளன் நடிகராக மாறியிருப்பதற்கு பாராட்டு தெரிவித்ததுடன், படத்தில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ள நகைச்சுவை மற்றும் தனிப்பட்ட உணர்வுகள் ரசிகர்களிடம் எதிர்பார்ப்பை ஏற்படுத்துவதாகக் குறிப்பிட்டார். மேலும், இளனுடன் ‘ஸ்டார்’ படத்தில் இணைந்து பணியாற்றிய அனுபவத்தையும் அவர் பகிர்ந்துகொண்டார்.

But what if the roles are reversed and the husband moves into his wife’s family home after marriage? This unusual premise forms the heart of Pyaar Prema Kalyanam, an upcoming romantic family entertainer that explores relationships and modern marriage through a fresh and humorous lens.

The trailer launch event of Pyaar Prema Kalyanam, directed by Ilan, who is also making his debut as a lead actor, was held today in the presence of the film’s cast and crew. Produced by Rise East Entertainment, the film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The film revolves around a young couple whose married life takes an unexpected turn when the wife chooses not to leave her parental home. Accepting her decision, the husband moves into her house, leading to a series of amusing situations, emotional moments and unexpected challenges within the family.

The film attempts to present a contemporary take on love, marriage and family relationships while reflecting the changing perspectives of today’s younger generation.

Director Vetrimaaran, who attended the trailer launch, praised Ilan for taking on the challenge of becoming a lead actor after establishing himself as a filmmaker. He appreciated the trailer and said the film appears to combine plenty of fun elements with intimate and relatable moments. He also recalled his experience of working with Ilan in Star and congratulated him on his new journey as an actor.

Veteran actress Radhika Sarathkumar expressed her happiness about the film premiering on Netflix, especially since its release coincides with her birthday. She described the film as a different kind of love story that reflects how the younger generation looks at love, marriage and life differently. According to her, the film explores how families understand, accept and adapt to these changing perspectives.

Actor Ilango Kumaranvel said his father-in-law character has been designed in such a way that audiences may wish they had a father-in-law like him. He expressed confidence that the character would be well received by viewers.

Actor Senthil praised Ilan’s performance and said that certain aspects of his character reminded him of the roles essayed by veteran actor-director K. Bhagyaraj. He also appreciated the natural performance of the film’s female lead, Sanvee Meghna.

Yogi Babu revealed that he and Ilan had been discussing the possibility of working together since Star. He thanked Ilan for fulfilling that promise by giving him a role in Pyaar Prema Kalyanam. He also revealed that the duo is set to collaborate on another project in the future.

Sanvee Meghna spoke about Ilan’s ability to seamlessly switch between his responsibilities as a director and actor. She recalled being impressed by the way he remained focused on directing even while preparing himself emotionally for challenging scenes as an actor. She also revealed that she has dubbed entirely in Tamil for the film.

Speaking at the event, Ilan said the film is particularly important to him as it marks his journey not only as a director but also as a lead actor. He said the story has been created keeping today’s youngsters in mind and thanked veteran actors such as Radhika Sarathkumar and Senthil for trusting him and being part of the project.

Ilan also highlighted Yuvan Shankar Raja’s contribution to the film. The song Adraacity has already received a positive response from audiences, and the director said he prefers not to reveal too much about the film in advance, allowing viewers to experience the story and relate its situations to their own lives.

Music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja said the approach of releasing the complete track list ahead of the film, which began with Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, has continued with this project as well. He revealed that he has already watched the complete film and described it as an entertaining experience that can be enjoyed with family. He also expressed confidence that the songs would continue to find a place in listeners’ playlists.

Featuring Ilan and Sanvee Meghna in the lead roles, the film also stars Radhika Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, M.S. Bhaskar, Geetha Kailasam, Ilango Kumaranvel, Senthil, Maran and Deeps Cyrus in important roles.
