“கதை பேசினால் மக்கள் ஏற்றுக்கொள்வார்கள்” – ‘சிறை’ வெற்றிவிழாவில் கலைஞர்கள் நெகிழ்ச்சி!
உண்மைச் சம்பவத்தை மையமாக கொண்டு உருவான “சிறை” திரைப்படத்தின் வெற்றியை கொண்டாடும் விழா, படக்குழுவினரும் ஊடக நண்பர்களும் கலந்து கொண்ட சிறப்பு நிகழ்வாக நடைபெற்றது.
செவன் ஸ்கிரீன் ஸ்டுடியோ நிறுவனம் சார்பில் தயாரிப்பாளர் எஸ்.எஸ். லலித் குமார் தயாரித்துள்ள இந்தப் படத்தில் நடிகர் விக்ரம் பிரபு மற்றும் அறிமுக நடிகர் எல்.கே. அக்ஷய் குமார் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர். புதிய இயக்குநர் சுரேஷ் ராஜகுமாரி இயக்கத்தில் உருவான இப்படம் கடந்த 2025 டிசம்பர் 25 அன்று கிறிஸ்துமஸ் சிறப்பு வெளியீடாக உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியானது.
திரையரங்குகளில் நல்ல வரவேற்பைப் பெற்ற இப்படம் பின்னர் ஜனவரி 23 அன்று ஓடிடி தளமான ZEE5-இல் வெளியான பின்னரும் பார்வையாளர்களிடையே பாராட்டுகளைப் பெற்றது. வெளியாகி 75 நாட்களைக் கடந்தும் சில திரையரங்குகளில் தொடர்ந்து திரையிடப்பட்டு வருவது படத்தின் வெற்றியை உறுதிப்படுத்துகிறது.
இந்த வெற்றியை முன்னிட்டு நடைபெற்ற விழாவில் படத்தில் பணியாற்றிய நடிகர்கள், தொழில்நுட்ப கலைஞர்கள், விநியோகஸ்தர்கள் மற்றும் திரையரங்கு உரிமையாளர்கள் ஆகியோருக்கு நினைவுப் பரிசாக வெற்றிக் கேடயங்கள் வழங்கி கௌரவிக்கப்பட்டனர்.
“உண்மை கதையை சினிமாவாக மாற்றுவது சவால்” – இயக்குநர் சுரேஷ் ராஜகுமாரி
நிகழ்ச்சியில் பேசிய இயக்குநர் சுரேஷ் ராஜகுமாரி,
“ஒரு உண்மை சம்பவத்தை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு திரைப்படம் உருவாக்குவது மிகவும் கடினமான ஒன்று. அதில் உள்ள உண்மைத்தன்மையையும் காப்பாற்ற வேண்டும், அதே நேரத்தில் சினிமாவாகவும் வேலை செய்ய வேண்டும். அந்த சமநிலையை பிடிக்க எங்கள் குழு முழுவதும் அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் உழைத்தது. இந்த வெற்றி எங்களுக்கு கிடைத்த மிகப்பெரிய அங்கீகாரம்” என்றார்.
மேலும் தயாரிப்பாளர் லலித் குமார் இந்தக் கதையை முழுமையாக நம்பி ஆதரித்தது தான் படத்தின் முக்கிய பலம் என்றும் அவர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

இயக்குநர் தமிழ் பேசுகையில்,
“தமிழகத்தில் எழுத்தாளர்கள் அதிகம் இருக்கிறார்கள். நல்ல கதைகள் நிறைய இருக்கின்றன. அவற்றை வாசித்து திரைப்படங்களாக மாற்ற வேண்டும். சினிமா வெறும் பொழுதுபோக்காக மட்டும் இல்லாமல் சமூக வாழ்க்கையையும் பிரதிபலிக்க வேண்டும்” என்றார்.

நடிகர் விக்ரம் பிரபு பேசுகையில்,
“ஒரு படம் வெற்றி பெறுவது ஒரு குழுவின் முயற்சியால்தான் சாத்தியம். ‘சிறை’ திரைப்படம் அதற்கான சிறந்த உதாரணம். இந்த படம் எனது 25வது படம் என்பதால் அது எனக்கு மேலும் ஒரு சிறப்பு” என்றார்.

“ஒரு படத்தை தயாரிப்பது வரை நாங்கள் செய்ய முடியும். ஆனால் அதை மக்களிடம் கொண்டு சேர்ப்பது ஊடகங்களின் ஆதரவால் தான் சாத்தியம். இந்த படத்திற்கு நீங்கள் அளித்த ஆதரவு இந்த வெற்றிக்கு முக்கிய காரணம்” என்று நன்றியை தெரிவித்தார்.
உண்மை சம்பவத்தை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்ட கதையையும் உணர்ச்சிகரமான காட்சிகளையும் கொண்ட “சிறை” திரைப்படம், ரசிகர்கள் மற்றும் விமர்சகர்களிடையே பெரும் வரவேற்பைப் பெற்று கடந்த ஆண்டின் குறிப்பிடத்தக்க திரைப்படங்களில் ஒன்றாக பேசப்படுகிறது.
“If the Story Connects, People Will Accept It” – ‘Sirai’ Team Celebrates Success
The success celebration of the film “Sirai”, which is based on a real-life incident, was held in the presence of the film’s cast, crew and members of the media.
Produced by S.S. Lalit Kumar under the banner of Seven Screen Studio, the film stars Vikram Prabhu and debutant LK Akshay Kumar in the lead roles. The film is directed by debut filmmaker Suresh Rajakumari. Sirai was released worldwide in theatres on December 25, 2025, as a Christmas special release.
After receiving a positive response in theatres, the film was later released on the OTT platform ZEE5 on January 23, where it continued to gain appreciation from audiences. Even after 75 days of its theatrical release, the film continues to attract viewers in theatres, highlighting its strong reception.
To celebrate the film’s success, a special event was organized where shields of appreciation were presented to the actors, technicians, distributors and theatre owners who contributed to the film’s journey.

Speaking at the event, director Suresh Rajakumari said,
“Making a film based on a real incident is always challenging. While adapting it for cinema, we must retain the authenticity of the story and at the same time make it engaging for the audience. Our entire team worked with dedication to maintain that balance. This success is a huge recognition for all of us.”
He also mentioned that producer Lalit Kumar’s belief in the story and his strong support played a major role in the film’s success.
