40 நாட்களில் நிறைவடைந்த ‘தகப்பன்’ – ஜீவாவின் அர்ப்பணிப்பில் முடிந்த படப்பிடிப்பு

நடிகர் ஜீவா நடிப்பில், லார்க் ஸ்டூடியோஸ் தயாரிப்பில், இயக்குநர் ரா. வெங்கட் இயக்கி வரும் ‘தகப்பன்’ திரைப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு திட்டமிட்ட காலக்கெடுவுக்கு முன்பாகவே முழுமையாக நிறைவடைந்துள்ளது. 45 நாட்களில் படப்பிடிப்பை முடிக்க திட்டமிட்டிருந்த நிலையில், படக்குழுவினரின் ஒருங்கிணைந்த உழைப்பாலும் நடிகர் ஜீவாவின் முழுமையான அர்ப்பணிப்பாலும் வெறும் 40 நாட்களில் படப்பிடிப்பு நிறைவு பெற்றுள்ளது.

மதுரை மற்றும் அதன் சுற்றுவட்டாரப் பகுதிகளை கதையின் களமாகக் கொண்டு உருவாகி வரும் இப்படம், அப்பா – மகன் உறவு, குடும்ப பாசம் மற்றும் மனிதர்களுக்கிடையேயான உணர்வுகளை மையமாகக் கொண்ட குடும்பக் கதையாக உருவாகிறது. கிராமத்து வாழ்வியலையும் மண் சார்ந்த மனிதர்களின் உணர்வுகளையும் இயல்பான முறையில் பதிவு செய்யும் வகையில் படத்தின் காட்சிகள் படமாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

படத்தின் ஃபர்ஸ்ட் லுக் ஏற்கனவே வெளியாகி ரசிகர்களின் கவனத்தை ஈர்த்த நிலையில், தற்போது படப்பிடிப்பும் நிறைவடைந்துள்ளதால், படத்தின் அடுத்தகட்ட பணிகள் விறுவிறுப்பாக நடைபெற்று வருகின்றன.

படப்பிடிப்பு நிறைவு குறித்து இயக்குநர் ரா. வெங்கட் கூறுகையில், “45 நாட்களில் படப்பிடிப்பை நிறைவு செய்ய திட்டமிட்டிருந்தோம். ஆனால் அனைவரின் ஒத்துழைப்பாலும் 40 நாட்களிலேயே படப்பிடிப்பை முடித்திருக்கிறோம். குறிப்பாக நடிகர் ஜீவாவின் அர்ப்பணிப்பும் ஒத்துழைப்பும் இதற்கு முக்கிய காரணம். அவர் படப்பிடிப்பில் காட்டிய ஈடுபாடு எங்களுக்கு மிகப்பெரிய பலமாக இருந்தது. கதாநாயகி ரஜிஷா விஜயனும் முழுமையான ஒத்துழைப்பை வழங்கினார். ஒளிப்பதிவாளர் சுகுமார் உள்ளிட்ட ஒட்டுமொத்த தொழில்நுட்பக் குழுவினரின் உழைப்பும் இந்த சாதனைக்குக் காரணம். அனைவருக்கும் எனது நன்றியைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்” என்றார்.

‘தகப்பன்’ படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு மேலூர் பகுதியில் உள்ள கோயிலில் நடைபெற்ற தொடக்க விழாவுடன் ஆரம்பமானது. அதன் பின்னர் மதுரை மற்றும் சுற்றுவட்டாரப் பகுதிகளில் பல்வேறு கட்டங்களாக படப்பிடிப்பு நடைபெற்றது. மதுரை நகரிலும் படத்தின் முக்கியமான காட்சிகள் படமாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

படம் தொடங்கிய அதே இடத்திலேயே படப்பிடிப்பையும் நிறைவு செய்திருப்பது படக்குழுவினருக்கு கூடுதல் மகிழ்ச்சியை அளித்துள்ளது. மேலூர் மேலவளவு கருப்பு கோயிலில் படத்தின் இறுதிக்கட்ட இரவு நேரக் காட்சிகள் படமாக்கப்பட்டதுடன், அங்கேயே படப்பிடிப்பு நிறைவு பெற்றது.

படப்பிடிப்பு நிறைவடைந்ததைத் தொடர்ந்து, மேலூர் மேலவளவு கருப்பு கோயிலில் படக்குழுவினர் கிடா வெட்டி, பொதுமக்களுக்கு விருந்து வழங்கி தங்களது மகிழ்ச்சியைப் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டனர். படக்குழுவினருடன் அப்பகுதி மக்களும் இணைந்து இந்த நிகழ்வில் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

‘தெனாவெட்டு’ படத்திற்குப் பிறகு, ஜீவா முழுக்க முழுக்க கிராமத்து பின்னணியில் நடிக்கும் படமாக ‘தகப்பன்’ உருவாகி வருகிறது. இதனால் ஜீவாவின் திரைப்பயணத்தில் இப்படம் ஒரு வித்தியாசமான படைப்பாக இருக்கும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.

இப்படத்தில் தேசிய விருது பெற்ற நடிகை ரஜிஷா விஜயன் கதாநாயகியாக நடித்துள்ளார். முன்னணி இசையமைப்பாளர்களுடன் பணியாற்றிய அனுபவம் கொண்ட சுயாதீன இசைக்கலைஞர் மார்ஷல் ராபின்சன் இப்படத்திற்கு இசையமைக்கிறார். K. குமார் தயாரிக்கும் இப்படத்திற்கு M. சுகுமார் ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்கிறார். நாகூரான் ராமச்சந்திரன் படத்தொகுப்பையும், K.B. நந்தபாலன் கலை இயக்கத்தையும் கவனிக்கின்றனர்.

சண்டைக் காட்சிகளை மகேஷ் மேத்யூ, ஆடை வடிவமைப்பை M. செல்வராஜ் மற்றும் ரிதேஷ் செல்வராஜ், ஒலிப்பதிவை T. உதய் குமார் மேற்கொள்கின்றனர். புகைப்படங்களை அன்பு பதிவு செய்கிறார். நிர்வாகத் தயாரிப்பாளராக R. பாலகுமார், விநியோகத் தலைவராக பிரிதிவிராஜா சின்னசாமி, மக்கள் தொடர்பாளராக யுவராஜ், விளம்பர வடிவமைப்பாளராக தினேஷ் அசோக் பணியாற்றுகின்றனர். இப்படத்தின் இசை வெளியீட்டு உரிமையை திங்க் மியூசிக் நிறுவனம் பெற்றுள்ளது.

படப்பிடிப்பு நிறைவடைந்துள்ள நிலையில், தற்போது இறுதிக்கட்ட பணிகளில் படக்குழு தீவிரமாக ஈடுபட்டுள்ளது. ‘தகப்பன்’ திரைப்படத்தை வரும் டிசம்பர் மாதம் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியிட படக்குழு திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது.

கிராமத்து பின்னணியில் அப்பா – மகன் உறவை மையமாகக் கொண்டு உருவாகியுள்ள இப்படம், ஜீவாவின் ரசிகர்களுக்கு புதிய அனுபவத்தை வழங்கும் என்ற எதிர்பார்ப்பு தற்போது அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

Jiiva’s Dedication Helps Wrap Up ‘Thagappan’ Shoot in Just 40 Days

The shooting of actor Jiiva’s upcoming film ‘Thagappan’, produced by Lark Studios and directed by Ra. Venkat, has been successfully completed. While the team had initially planned to wrap up the shoot in 45 days, the entire filming was completed in just 40 days, thanks to the dedicated efforts and coordination of the cast and crew.

Set against the backdrop of Madurai and its surrounding regions, ‘Thagappan’ is an emotional family drama centred on the bond between a father and son, family affection and the complexities of human relationships. The film is being crafted with an authentic rural flavour, capturing the lives, emotions and culture of people rooted in the soil.

The film’s first look, which was released earlier, received a positive response from audiences. With the shooting now complete, the team has moved on to the next phase of production.

Speaking about the completion of the shoot, director Ra. Venkat said that Jiiva’s dedication and wholehearted cooperation played a major role in completing the filming ahead of schedule.

The director said that the team had initially planned for a 45-day schedule, but managed to complete the entire shoot in 40 days because of the cooperation of everyone involved. He particularly appreciated Jiiva’s commitment and involvement throughout the shoot, while also thanking lead actress Rajisha Vijayan, cinematographer M. Sukumar and the entire technical team for their valuable contribution.

The journey of ‘Thagappan’ began with a launch ceremony held at a temple in the Melur region. The subsequent shooting schedules were conducted across Madurai and its surrounding areas, with several important sequences also filmed in Madurai city.

Interestingly, the team completed the final night schedule at the Melavalaavu Karuppu Temple in Melur, the very location where the film’s journey had begun. Completing the shoot at the same location where the project started brought a special sense of happiness to the entire team.

Following the completion of the shoot, the team celebrated the occasion at the Melavalaavu Karuppu Temple by performing a traditional ritual and organising a feast for the local residents. The celebration, which was held along with the people of the locality, brought further joy to the occasion.

After ‘Thenavettu’, ‘Thagappan’ marks Jiiva’s return to a completely rural backdrop. The film is expected to be a distinctive addition to his career, particularly for its emotionally driven storyline and rustic setting.

National Award-winning actress Rajisha Vijayan plays the female lead in the film. Independent musician Marshall Robinson, who has experience working with leading music composers, has composed the music.

Produced by K. Kumar, the film has cinematography by M. Sukumar, editing by Nagooran Ramachandran, and art direction by K.B. Nandha Balan.

The stunt sequences are choreographed by Mahesh Mathew, while M. Selvaraj and Rithesh Selvaraj are handling the costume design. T. Udhay Kumar is responsible for sound recording, while Anbu has handled the still photography.

R. Balakumar serves as the Executive Producer, Prithiviraja Chinnasamy as the Head of Distribution, Yuvraj as the Public Relations Officer, and Dinesh Ashok as the Publicity Designer. The music rights of the film have been acquired by Think Music.

With the shooting wrapped up, the team is currently concentrating on the final stages of post-production. ‘Thagappan’ is scheduled to hit theatres in December this year.

With Jiiva portraying a rural character in a story that revolves around the emotional bond between a father and son, expectations surrounding ‘Thagappan’ are steadily growing among moviegoers.
