“நல்ல கதைகளுக்கான எங்கள் பயணம் தொடரும்” – ‘பெத்லகேம் குடும்ப யூனிட்’ பத்திரிகையாளர் சந்திப்பில் பகத் பாசில் நெகிழ்ச்சி

மலையாளத்தில் ரசிகர்கள் மத்தியில் நல்ல வரவேற்பையும், விமர்சகர்களின் பாராட்டையும் பெற்ற ‘பெத்லகேம் குடும்ப யூனிட்’ திரைப்படம் தற்போது தமிழ் ரசிகர்களை சந்திக்க தயாராகியுள்ளது. நிவின் பாலி மற்றும் மமீதா பைஜூ இணைந்து நடித்துள்ள இந்த படம் செப்டம்பர் 4ஆம் தேதி தமிழகமெங்கும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது.

இதையொட்டி, படத்தின் தமிழ் வெளியீட்டை முன்னிட்டு சென்னையில் பத்திரிகையாளர் சந்திப்பு நடைபெற்றது. இதில் தயாரிப்பாளர் பகத் பாசில், தயாரிப்பாளர் உன்னி மாயா பிரசாத் மற்றும் இயக்குநர் கிரீஷ் ஏ.டி. ஆகியோர் கலந்து கொண்டு படத்தின் உருவாக்கம் மற்றும் அதன் பின்னணியில் உள்ள சுவாரஸ்யங்களை பகிர்ந்து கொண்டனர்.

பாவனா ஸ்டுடியோஸ் தயாரிப்பில் உருவாகியுள்ள இந்த திரைப்படத்தை தமிழில் ப்ரீமார்க் புரொடக்ஷன்ஸ் மற்றும் பியூச்சர் ரன் அப் பிலிம்ஸ் நிறுவனங்கள் இணைந்து வெளியிடுகின்றன.

நிகழ்ச்சியில் பேசிய தயாரிப்பாளர் உன்னி மாயா பிரசாத், “இந்த படத்தை அனைவரும் திரையரங்குகளில் சென்று பார்க்க வேண்டும். மலையாள ரசிகர்கள் இந்த படத்திற்கு அளித்த அதே அன்பை தமிழ் ரசிகர்களும் வழங்குவார்கள் என்ற நம்பிக்கை எங்களுக்கு உள்ளது. உங்கள் ஆதரவை எதிர்நோக்குகிறோம்” என்றார்.

தொடர்ந்து பேசிய இயக்குநர் கிரீஷ் ஏ.டி., மேடையில் பேசுவதில் தனக்கு அதிக அனுபவம் இல்லை என சிரிப்புடன் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

“செப்டம்பர் 4ஆம் தேதி வெளியாகும் ‘பெத்லகேம் குடும்ப யூனிட்’ திரைப்படத்தை குடும்பத்தினருடன் திரையரங்குகளில் வந்து பாருங்கள். இந்த படம் அனைவருக்கும் பிடிக்கும் என்ற நம்பிக்கை எனக்கு இருக்கிறது.

கேரளாவில் தேவாலயங்களைச் சுற்றியுள்ள பகுதிகளை குறிப்பிட்ட ஒரு வகையில் அடையாளப்படுத்துவார்கள். அதிலிருந்துதான் ‘பெத்லகேம் குடும்ப யூனிட்’ என்ற தலைப்பு உருவானது.

இந்த படத்தில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ள சில கதாபாத்திரங்கள் நிஜ வாழ்க்கையில் நான் சந்தித்த மனிதர்களிடமிருந்து உருவாக்கப்பட்டவை. குறிப்பாக கதாநாயகன் ஜஸ்டின் கதாபாத்திரம் எனக்கு நன்கு அறிமுகமான ஒருவரின் வாழ்க்கையை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டு உருவாக்கப்பட்டது” என்று இயக்குநர் தெரிவித்தார்.

படத்தின் தயாரிப்பாளரான பகத் பாசில் பேசுகையில், நாயகன் நிவின் பாலி மற்றும் நாயகி மமீதா பைஜூ தவிர்க்க முடியாத காரணங்களால் நிகழ்ச்சியில் கலந்து கொள்ள இயலவில்லை என தெரிவித்தார்.

மேலும் அவர் கூறுகையில், “இந்த படம் எனக்கு மிகவும் நெருக்கமான ஒரு திரைப்படம். நான், தினேஷ் மற்றும் ஷியாம் ஆகிய மூவரும் இணைந்து இந்த படத்தை தயாரித்துள்ளோம். எங்களுடைய நட்பு 2018ஆம் ஆண்டு தொடங்கியது. அந்த நட்பு இன்று வரை அழகாக தொடர்கிறது.

எங்கள் மனதிற்கு நெருக்கமான, எங்களை உற்சாகப்படுத்தும் நல்ல கதைகளை தேர்வு செய்து தொடர்ந்து திரைப்படங்களை தயாரிக்க வேண்டும் என்பதே எங்களுடைய விருப்பம். அந்த வகையில் இந்த திரைப்படம் எங்களுக்கு மிகவும் முக்கியமானது.

இவ்வளவு அழகான ஒரு படைப்பை உருவாக்கிய இயக்குநர் கிரீஷ் ஏ.டி. மற்றும் படக்குழுவினர் அனைவருக்கும் எனது வாழ்த்துக்கள்.

ரொமான்ஸ், நகைச்சுவை மற்றும் குடும்ப உணர்வுகளை மையமாகக் கொண்டு உருவாகியுள்ள ‘பெத்லகேம் குடும்ப யூனிட்’ திரைப்படத்தில் நிவின் பாலி மற்றும் மமீதா பைஜூ முதன்மை கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர்.

அவர்களுடன் சங்கீத் பிரதாப், ரோஷன் ஷா நவாஸ், ஷியாம் மோகன், சுரேஷ் கிருஷ்ணா, வினய் ஃபோர்ட் உள்ளிட்ட பலர் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர்.

கிரீஷ் ஏ.டி. இயக்கியுள்ள இந்த படத்திற்கு அஜ்மல் ஷபு ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்துள்ளார். விஷ்ணு விஜய் இசையமைத்துள்ளார்.

மலையாளத்தில் வெற்றிக்கொடி நாட்டிய இந்த ரொமான்டிக் காமெடி திரைப்படம், தற்போது தமிழ் ரசிகர்களையும் கவரும் நோக்கில் செப்டம்பர் 4ஆம் தேதி திரையரங்குகளுக்கு வருகிறது.

“Our Journey to Tell Stories Close to Our Hearts Will Continue” – Fahadh Faasil at Bethlehem Kudumba Unit Tamil Press Meet

Following its successful run and positive reception among Malayalam audiences, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is now gearing up to entertain Tamil cinema fans. Starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, the Tamil version of the film is set to hit theatres across Tamil Nadu on September 4.

Ahead of its Tamil release, the makers hosted a press meet in Chennai to introduce the film to the Tamil media and audiences. Producers Fahadh Faasil and Unni Maya Prasad, along with director Gireesh A.D., participated in the event and shared their experiences about the film.

Produced by Bhavana Studios, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is being presented in Tamil Nadu by Primark Productions and Future Run Up Films.

Speaking at the event, producer Unni Maya Prasad said, “We request everyone to watch this film in theatres. Malayalam audiences have showered the film with immense love, and we hope Tamil audiences will also enjoy and support it.”

Director Gireesh A.D., who interacted with the media, admitted that he was not particularly comfortable speaking in front of large gatherings but expressed his confidence in the film.

“I invite everyone to watch Bethlehem Kudumba Unit with their families in theatres from September 4. I strongly believe that audiences will enjoy the film,” he said.

The director also explained the significance behind the title of the film. He revealed that the term Bethlehem Kudumba Unit has a cultural connection to the way certain communities and areas surrounding churches are identified in Kerala.

Sharing more about the film’s characters, Gireesh A.D. said that some of them were inspired by real-life people.

“Several characters in the film have been developed from people and experiences from real life. In particular, the character of Justin, the protagonist of the story, was inspired by someone I know personally,” he revealed.

Producer Fahadh Faasil said that lead actors Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju were unable to attend the press meet due to unavoidable circumstances.

Describing Bethlehem Kudumba Unit as a film close to his heart, Fahadh Faasil said, “This is a very special film for me. Dinesh, Shyam and I have jointly produced this film. Our friendship began in 2018 and has continued beautifully over the years.”

“We want to continue producing films based on stories that are close to our hearts and that genuinely excite us. Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is one such special project for us. I would like to congratulate director Gireesh A.D. and the entire team for giving us such a beautiful film,” he added.

Fahadh Faasil further expressed confidence that Tamil audiences would warmly embrace the film.

“Tamil cinema audiences have always welcomed and celebrated good films. I believe Bethlehem Kudumba Unit will also receive the same kind of appreciation and celebration from them. I would also like to thank Malayalam audiences for making this film a success,” he said.

Directed by Gireesh A.D., Bethlehem Kudumba Unit stars Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju in the lead, alongside Sangeeth Prathap, Roshan Shanavas, Shyam Mohan, Suresh Krishna, Vinay Forrt and several others.

The film has cinematography by Ajmal Sabu and music composed by Vishnu Vijay.

Produced jointly by Bhavana Studios and Fahadh Faasil & Friends, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is a romantic comedy entertainer that combines romance, humour and family emotions. The Tamil version of the film is being presented by Primark Productions and Future Run Up Films.

Having already emerged as a critically and commercially successful film in Malayalam, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit will now look to win the hearts of Tamil audiences when it releases in theatres across Tamil Nadu on September 4.
