சிவராஜ்குமார் – அபிஷன் ஜீவிந்த் கூட்டணியின் ‘பிக்காசோ’… ஃபர்ஸ்ட் லுக் சொல்லும் கதை என்ன?

கன்னட சினிமாவின் முன்னணி நடிகர் டாக்டர் சிவராஜ்குமார் மற்றும் இளம் நடிகர் அபிஷன் ஜீவிந்த் முதல் முறையாக இணையும் திரைப்படத்திற்கு ‘பிக்காசோ’ (PICASSO) என தலைப்பு வைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இப்படத்தின் ஃபர்ஸ்ட் லுக்கை நடிகரும் இயக்குநருமான ரிஷப் ஷெட்டி வெளியிட்டுள்ளார்.

பொதுவாக ஒரு படத்தின் ஃபர்ஸ்ட் லுக் என்றால், ஹீரோவின் மாஸ் தோற்றம் அல்லது கதாபாத்திரத்தின் அறிமுகம்தான் முதலில் கவனம் பெறும். ஆனால், ‘பிக்காசோ’ படக்குழு வெளியிட்டிருக்கும் ஃபர்ஸ்ட் லுக் அந்த வழக்கமான பாணியில் இல்லை.

வெடித்த பட்டாசுகள் சிதறிக் கிடக்கும் சூழலில், பாரம்பரிய வெள்ளை உடையில் சிவராஜ்குமாரும் அபிஷன் ஜீவிந்த்தும் ஒன்றாக அமர்ந்திருக்கின்றனர். இருவரின் முகத்திலும் எந்தவிதமான பதற்றமும் இல்லாமல், இயல்பான குறும்புத்தனமான தோற்றம் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது. அவர்களைச் சுற்றியிருக்கும் பட்டாசுகளுக்கும், இருவரின் அமைதியான தோற்றத்துக்கும் இடையிலான முரண்பாடே இந்த ஃபர்ஸ்ட் லுக்கை வித்தியாசப்படுத்துகிறது.

அதிலும், ‘PICASSO’ என்ற தலைப்பு கையால் வரையப்பட்டதைப் போன்ற மஞ்சள் நிற எழுத்துகளில் இடம்பெற்றிருப்பது படத்தின் காட்சியமைப்பு வழக்கமான கமர்ஷியல் சினிமாவிலிருந்து சற்று விலகியிருக்கும் என்ற எதிர்பார்ப்பை உருவாக்கியுள்ளது.

இந்த படத்தின் மற்றொரு சுவாரஸ்யமான அம்சம் சிவராஜ்குமார் – அபிஷன் ஜீவிந்த் கூட்டணி. இரண்டு வெவ்வேறு தலைமுறைகளைச் சேர்ந்த நடிகர்கள் ஒரே திரையில் இணைவதால், இந்த கூட்டணி எப்படி இருக்கும் என்ற எதிர்பார்ப்பு ரசிகர்கள் மத்தியில் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது.

படத்திற்கு லியோன் ஜேம்ஸ் இசையமைக்கிறார். பிரகதீஷ் பிரபு ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்ய, சுரேஷ் படத்தொகுப்பு பணிகளை மேற்கொள்கிறார். ஸ்வாதி ராமகிருஷ்ணன் ஆடை வடிவமைப்பையும், விஜு விஜயன் கலை இயக்கத்தையும் கவனிக்கின்றனர்.

தலைப்பே ‘பிக்காசோ’… ஃபர்ஸ்ட் லுக்கே வழக்கமான சினிமா பாணியைத் தாண்டி நிற்கிறது. சிவராஜ்குமார் – அபிஷன் ஜீவிந்த் கூட்டணியை மையமாக வைத்து உருவாகும் இந்த படம் எந்த மாதிரியான கதையை சொல்லப் போகிறது என்பதுதான் அடுத்த எதிர்பார்ப்பு. படக்குழுவின் அடுத்தடுத்த அப்டேட்கள் வெளியாகும்போது ‘பிக்காசோ’வின் பின்னணி குறித்த கூடுதல் தகவல்கள் தெரியவரும்.

Shivarajkumar and Abishan Jeevinth Team Up for ‘Picasso’ – First Look Creates Curiosity

Kannada cinema’s leading star Dr. Shivarajkumar and young actor Abishan Jeevinth are coming together for a new-generation entertainer titled ‘PICASSO’. The film’s intriguing first look was unveiled by actor-filmmaker Rishab Shetty, instantly creating curiosity among moviegoers.

Unlike the usual first looks that focus heavily on a hero’s larger-than-life image, Picasso takes a rather unusual route.

The first-look poster features Shivarajkumar and Abishan Jeevinth seated together in traditional white attire, surrounded by the remnants of exploded fireworks. Interestingly, both actors sport relaxed and playful expressions, creating a striking contrast with the chaotic setting around them.

Adding to the poster’s artistic appeal is the film’s title, ‘PICASSO’, designed in hand-drawn yellow lettering. The unusual visual language gives a hint that the film may have a distinctive narrative and presentation that moves away from conventional commercial storytelling.

The biggest talking point, however, is the combination of two actors from different generations. Shivarajkumar, one of Kannada cinema’s most celebrated stars, sharing the screen with the younger Abishan Jeevinth makes Picasso an interesting project to watch out for.

The film marks the directorial debut of Gautham Sivaraman, who has also written the story. Produced by A. Balamurugan under the Drama Company banner, the film has R. Karthikeyan, Dinesh Balachandran and R.R. Deepan Raj as co-producers. Green Coat and T Pictures have also joined the production.

Leon James is composing the music, while Pragadheesh Prabhu handles the cinematography and Suresh takes care of the editing. Swathi Ramakrishnan is the costume designer, with Viju Vijayan handling the art direction.

The film stars Shivani Nagaram as the female lead, while Yogalakshmi plays a key role. Popular singer Gana Vinoth is also making his acting debut with Picasso.

The shooting has already been completed, and the film is currently in the post-production stage.

With its unusual title, intriguing first look and the fresh pairing of Shivarajkumar and Abishan Jeevinth, ‘Picasso’ has already managed to grab attention. The upcoming updates from the team are expected to reveal more about the film’s world and its unique storyline.
