‘நூறு சாமி’ விழாவில் சினிமாவைத் தாண்டிய சமூக உரையாடல்! சசியின் படைப்பை கொண்டாட ஒன்றுகூடிய தமிழ் சினிமாவின் முன்னணி படைப்பாளிகள்

ஒரு திரைப்படத்தின் வெளியீட்டிற்கு முந்தைய நிகழ்வு என்பது பொதுவாக படக்குழுவின் உற்சாகத்தையும், படத்தின் வணிக எதிர்பார்ப்புகளையும் வெளிப்படுத்தும் மேடையாகவே அமையும். ஆனால் இயக்குநர் சசி இயக்கத்தில், விஜய் ஆண்டனி நடிப்பில் உருவாகியுள்ள ‘நூறு சாமி’ திரைப்படத்தின் வெளியீட்டிற்கு முன்னரான நிகழ்வு அதனைத் தாண்டி, சமூக பொறுப்பு, பெண்களின் வாழ்வியல், மனித உறவுகள் மற்றும் படைப்பாளிகளின் அனுபவப் பகிர்வுகள் நிறைந்த அரங்காக மாறியது.

சென்னையில் நடைபெற்ற இந்த நிகழ்வில் இயக்குநர்கள் வெற்றிமாறன், பா.ரஞ்சித், ஏ.ஆர்.முருகதாஸ், மிஷ்கின், ராஜூ முருகன், கார்த்திக் சுப்புராஜ், லிங்குசாமி, சரண் உள்ளிட்ட முன்னணி படைப்பாளிகள் கலந்து கொண்டு ‘நூறு சாமி’ திரைப்படத்தையும், இயக்குநர் சசியின் படைப்புலகப் பயணத்தையும் பாராட்டினர்.

‘பிச்சைக்காரன்’ வெற்றிக்குப் பிறகு மீண்டும் இணைந்துள்ள சசி – விஜய் ஆண்டனி கூட்டணி என்பதாலேயே ரசிகர்களிடம் ஏற்கனவே பெரும் எதிர்பார்ப்பை உருவாக்கியுள்ள ‘நூறு சாமி’, ஒரு தாயை தெய்வமாக அல்ல, மனிதராக பார்க்கச் சொல்லும் படைப்பாக உருவாகியிருப்பதாக இயக்குநர் சசி தெரிவித்தார்.

நிகழ்வில் பலரின் பேச்சிலும் ஒரே கருத்து வலுவாக ஒலித்தது. அது, பெண்களின் வாழ்க்கையை சமூகம் இன்னும் முழுமையாகப் புரிந்து கொள்ளாத நிலை. அந்தப் பார்வையை மாற்றும் சக்தி ‘நூறு சாமி’ திரைப்படத்திற்கு இருப்பதாக அவர்கள் குறிப்பிட்டனர்.

இயக்குநர் வெற்றிமாறன், “சசி ஒவ்வொரு படத்தையும் தனது முதல் படத்தைப் போலவே அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் உருவாக்குகிறார். இத்தனை ஆண்டுகள் அனுபவம் கொண்ட இயக்குநரின் படைப்பு என்ற உணர்வை விட, இன்றைய தலைமுறையினரை கவரும் புதுமையான அணுகுமுறையுடன் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட திரைப்படமாக ‘நூறு சாமி’ இருக்கிறது” என்று பாராட்டினார்.

பா.ரஞ்சித் தனது உரையில், சசி தன்னிடம் விதைத்த நம்பிக்கையை நினைவுகூர்ந்ததோடு, “இந்தப் படம் உணர்வுபூர்வமாக என்னை ஆழமாகத் தொட்டது. சமூகத்தில் இன்னும் பேசப்பட வேண்டிய பல விஷயங்களை எளிமையாகவும், வலிமையாகவும் எடுத்துரைக்கிறது” என்றார்.

இயக்குநர் ஏ.ஆர்.முருகதாஸ், “சமூக நீதி குறித்து பேசப்படும் பல படங்களை விட, இந்தப் படம் குடும்பங்களுக்குள் இருக்கும் ஆண்-பெண் சமத்துவமின்மையை மிகவும் ஆழமாக பேசுகிறது. இது மனதிற்கு நெருக்கமான திரைப்படம்” என்று கூறியதுடன், நடிகை சுவாசிகாவின் நடிப்பை சிறப்பாக பாராட்டினார்.

இயக்குநர் மிஷ்கின், “நான் வாழ்க்கையில் பார்த்த சாமிகளில் ஒருவர்தான் சசி. மனிதர்களை தாயுள்ளத்தோடு அணுகும் அபூர்வமான படைப்பாளர். பெண்களின் வலியையும் மனித வாழ்க்கையின் உண்மைகளையும் மிகுந்த கருணையுடன் இந்தப் படம் பதிவு செய்கிறது” எனக் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

ராஜூ முருகன் தனது உரையில், “பெண்களைப் பற்றிய சமூகத்தின் பார்வை இன்னும் பல இடங்களில் மாறவில்லை. அந்த சூழலில் ‘நூறு சாமி’ மிகவும் அவசியமான திரைப்படம். இது ஆண்கள் பார்க்க வேண்டிய பெண்களுக்கான படம்; பெண்கள் பார்க்க வேண்டிய ஆண்களுக்கான படம்” என்றார்.

இந்த நிகழ்வின் மற்றொரு சிறப்பம்சமாக, ‘நூறு சாமி’ திரைப்படத்தின் மூலம் இசையமைப்பாளராக அறிமுகமாகும் பாலாஜி ஸ்ரீராமை, இயக்குநர் சசியால் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டு பின்னர் பிரபலமான இசையமைப்பாளர்களான விஜய் ஆண்டனி, எஸ்.எஸ்.குமரன், சிமோன் மற்றும் சித்து குமார் ஆகியோர் மேடையில் அறிமுகப்படுத்தி வாழ்த்தினர்.

தயாரிப்பாளரும் நடிகருமான விஜய் ஆண்டனி பேசுகையில், “என் வாழ்க்கையின் முக்கியமான திருப்புமுனைகளில் ஒன்று சசி இயக்கிய ‘பிச்சைக்காரன்’. அதேபோல் ‘நூறு சாமி’யும் எனக்கு முக்கியமான படம். பெண்களின் வாழ்க்கையை புரிந்துகொள்ள சமூகத்திற்கு மிகவும் தேவையான திரைப்படம் இது” என்று கூறினார்.

இயக்குநர் சசி தனது உரையில், “‘பிச்சைக்காரன்’ படத்தில் ஒரு மகன் தாயை தெய்வமாகப் பார்த்தான். ‘நூறு சாமி’யில் ஒரு மகன் தாயை மனிதராகப் பார்க்கிறான். அதுவே இந்தக் கதையின் மையம்” என்று கூறியதுடன், படத்தின் உண்மை சம்பவத்துக்கு காரணமான நபரையும் மேடையில் அறிமுகப்படுத்தினார்.

விஜய் ஆண்டனி பிலிம் கார்ப்பரேஷன் தயாரிப்பில் உருவாகியுள்ள ‘நூறு சாமி’ திரைப்படத்தில் விஜய் ஆண்டனி, சுவாசிகா, லிஜோ மோல் ஜோஸ், கருணாஸ் உள்ளிட்ட பலர் நடித்துள்ளனர். இயக்குநர் சசியின் வலுவான கதை சொல்லல், சமூக கருத்துக்கள், உணர்வுபூர்வமான தருணங்கள் மற்றும் குடும்ப பொழுதுபோக்கு அம்சங்களுடன் உருவாகியுள்ள இந்த திரைப்படம் வரும் 19 ஆம் தேதி உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது.

‘Nooru Saami’ Audio Launch Turns Into a Powerful Social Conversation; Tamil Cinema’s Leading Filmmakers Unite to Celebrate Director Sasi’s Vision

Film pre-release events are usually platforms to showcase a movie’s commercial prospects and build excitement among audiences. However, the pre-release event of ‘Nooru Saami’, directed by Sasi and starring Vijay Antony, evolved into something much larger—a meaningful discussion on social responsibility, women’s lives, human relationships, and the enduring power of cinema.

Held in Chennai, the event witnessed the presence of several prominent filmmakers including Vetrimaaran, Pa. Ranjith, A.R. Murugadoss, Mysskin, Raju Murugan, Karthik Subbaraj, Lingusamy, and Charan, all of whom came together to celebrate both the film and Sasi’s remarkable contribution to Tamil cinema.

Reuniting after the success of Pichaikkaran, the much-loved Sasi–Vijay Antony combination has already generated significant anticipation among audiences. According to Sasi, Nooru Saami is a film that encourages society to see a mother not merely as a divine figure, but as a human being with emotions, struggles, and individuality.

A common theme echoed throughout the event was the need to better understand women’s experiences and challenges. Several speakers noted that Nooru Saami has the potential to inspire meaningful conversations and shift perspectives on gender and family relationships.

Director Vetrimaaran praised Sasi’s dedication, stating that he approaches every project with the passion of a debut filmmaker. He noted that despite Sasi’s decades of experience, Nooru Saami feels fresh, contemporary, and deeply engaging for today’s generation.

Director Pa. Ranjith reflected on the encouragement he once received from Sasi during his early career struggles. He described the film as emotionally powerful and said it addresses social issues that remain highly relevant today.

Director A.R. Murugadoss highlighted the film’s exploration of gender inequality within families, describing it as one of the most emotionally resonant films he has seen in recent years. He also lauded actress Swasika for delivering an exceptional performance.

Director Mysskin spoke about Sasi’s compassion and humanity, calling him one of the rare individuals in the industry who approaches people with genuine care. He praised the film for its sensitivity in portraying women’s struggles and the complexities of human life.

Director Raju Murugan emphasized that society’s perception of women continues to be shaped by outdated attitudes. In that context, he described Nooru Saami as a highly important film, calling it “a film for women that men must watch, and a film for men that women must watch.”

One of the highlights of the event was the introduction of Balaji Sriram as a music composer through Nooru Saami. He was welcomed on stage by music directors Vijay Antony, S.S. Kumaran, Simon, and Siddhu Kumar, all of whom extended their support and best wishes.

Actor-producer Vijay Antony described the film as one of the most significant milestones of his career. He stated that just as Pichaikkaran became a turning point in his life, Nooru Saami is another deeply meaningful project that has the potential to create a positive impact on society.

Speaking at the event, director Sasi explained the core philosophy behind the film: “In Pichaikkaran, a son saw his mother as a goddess. In Nooru Saami, a son sees his mother as a human being. That is the essence of this story.”

Produced by Vijay Antony Film Corporation, Nooru Saami stars Vijay Antony, Swasika, Lijomol Jose, Karunas, and several others in key roles. Combining powerful storytelling, social relevance, emotional depth, and commercial appeal, the film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on June 19.

More than a conventional movie event, the pre-release function of Nooru Saami became a platform for meaningful dialogue—demonstrating that cinema can entertain while also inspiring reflection and social change.
