“கல்விக்கான குரலாக வரும் ‘அருள்வான்’… மலைகளின் மத்தியில் உருவான போராட்டப் படைப்பு!”

 

சென்னையில் நடைபெற்ற ‘அருள்வான்’ திரைப்படத்தின் பத்திரிகையாளர் சந்திப்பு, ஒரு சாதாரண திரைப்பட நிகழ்வாக இல்லாமல், கல்வியின் அடிப்படை உரிமையை பேசும் படைப்பின் பின்னணியில் நடந்த கடினமான பயணத்தை வெளிப்படுத்திய நிகழ்வாக அமைந்தது.

90 பிக்சர்ஸ் புரொடக்ஷன்ஸ் பிரைவேட் லிமிடெட் நிறுவனம் சார்பில் எஸ்.ஜி. சரவணன் தயாரித்துள்ள இப்படத்தை இயக்குநர் கணேஷ் விநாயகன் இயக்கியுள்ளார். அருள்நிதி, ஆரவ், ரம்யா பாண்டியன், பேபி கிருத்திகா, காளி வெங்கட், ஜான் விஜய், வி.டி.வி. கணேஷ், ஹரிஷ் உத்தமன், ‘பருத்திவீரன்’ சரவணன் உள்ளிட்ட பலர் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர்.

எம். சுகுமார் ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்துள்ள இப்படத்திற்கு ஜி.வி. பிரகாஷ் குமார் இசையமைத்துள்ளார். கலை இயக்கத்தை லால்குடி இளையராஜா, படத்தொகுப்பை லாரன்ஸ் கிஷோர் கவனித்துள்ளனர். சக்தி ஃபிலிம் ஃபேக்டரி நிறுவனம் சார்பில் சக்திவேலன் இப்படத்தை வெளியிடுகிறார்.

வரும் 17-ஆம் தேதி உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாக உள்ள இந்த திரைப்படம், கல்வி என்பது சிலருக்கான சலுகை அல்ல; அனைவருக்கும் கிடைக்க வேண்டிய அடிப்படை உரிமை என்ற கருத்தை மையமாகக் கொண்டு உருவாகியுள்ளது.

பத்திரிகையாளர் சந்திப்பில் பேசிய படக்குழுவினர், இந்த திரைப்படத்திற்காக அவர்கள் சந்தித்த சவால்களை மனம் திறந்து பகிர்ந்து கொண்டனர். சாலை வசதியே இல்லாத மலைப்பகுதிகளில் பல நாட்கள் டென்ட் அமைத்து தங்கி படப்பிடிப்பு நடைபெற்றதாகவும், உணவு, தங்குமிடம், தொடர்பு வசதிகள் என எதுவும் இல்லாத சூழலில் முழு குழுவினரும் அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் உழைத்ததாகவும் தெரிவித்தனர்.

நடிகர் காளி வெங்கட், “மனிதர்களும் மிருகங்களும் கூட செல்ல சிரமப்படும் இடங்களில் படப்பிடிப்பு நடைபெற்றது. ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் படப்பிடிப்பு தளத்தை அடைவதே ஒரு சவாலாக இருந்தது. ஆனால் படத்தின் காட்சிகளை பார்த்தபோது அந்த கஷ்டங்கள் அனைத்தும் மறந்து போனது. கல்வியைப் பற்றி பேசும் இந்த திரைப்படம் வெளியான பிறகு நிச்சயம் பேசப்படும்,” என்றார்.

சக்தி ஃபிலிம் ஃபேக்டரி நிறுவனத்தின் சக்திவேலன், “இது வெறும் திரைப்படம் அல்ல. விளிம்புநிலை மக்களின் வாழ்க்கையையும், கல்வியின் அவசியத்தையும் நேர்மையாக பதிவு செய்திருக்கும் படைப்பு. இத்தகைய படங்கள் அதிகம் வர வேண்டும் என்பதற்காகவே இப்படத்தை வெளியிடுவதில் பெருமை கொள்கிறேன்,” என்று கூறினார்.

முதல் திரைப்படத்திலேயே முன்னணி நடிகர்களுடன் இணைந்து நடித்திருக்கும் பேபி கிருத்திகா, “இந்த வாய்ப்பு என் வாழ்க்கையின் மிகப்பெரிய பரிசு. நூற்றுக்கும் மேற்பட்ட கலைஞர்களின் உழைப்பால் உருவான இந்த படத்திற்கு ரசிகர்கள் ஆதரவு அளிக்க வேண்டும்,” என்றார்.

நடிகை ரம்யா பாண்டியன், “கிராமப்புறக் கதைகளில் இருந்து ஓரளவு விலக நினைத்திருந்த நேரத்தில் இந்தக் கதையை கேட்டேன். கல்வி கிடைக்காத குழந்தைகளின் வாழ்க்கையை மையமாகக் கொண்ட இந்தக் கதை என்னை மிகவும் பாதித்தது. அதனால் உடனே இந்தப் படத்தில் நடிக்க சம்மதித்தேன். படப்பிடிப்பு நடந்த இடங்களும், அங்குள்ள மக்களின் வாழ்க்கையும் மறக்க முடியாத அனுபவமாக இருந்தது,” என்று பகிர்ந்தார்.

இயக்குநர் கணேஷ் விநாயகன், “இந்த திரைப்படம் வலியும் நம்பிக்கையும் சேர்ந்த பயணம். இந்தக் கதையை மக்கள் மத்தியில் கொண்டு செல்ல வேண்டும் என்ற நோக்கத்தில்தான் அனைவரும் இணைந்தனர். இது கலைப்படமோ, முழுக்க முழுக்க வர்த்தகப்படமோ அல்ல; இரண்டையும் இணைக்கும் ஒரு சமூகப் படைப்பு. இந்த திரைப்படத்தின் மூன்று முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்கள் ஆரவ், அருள்நிதி, பேபி கிருத்திகா. குறிப்பாக பேபி கிருத்திகாவின் நடிப்புக்கு தேசிய விருது கிடைக்கும் என்ற நம்பிக்கை எனக்கு உள்ளது,” என்றார்.

நடிகர் அருள்நிதி, “முதலில் சில நாட்கள் மட்டுமே நடிக்க வேண்டும் என்று நினைத்தேன். ஆனால் கதையின் ஆழம் என்னை முழுமையாக ஈர்த்தது. குழந்தைகளின் கல்வி உரிமையை பேசும் இந்தப் படம் அனைவரின் மனதையும் தொடும்,” என்று தெரிவித்தார்.

நடிகர் ஆரவ், “இப்படிப்பட்ட கதாபாத்திரம் மீண்டும் கிடைக்குமா என்றே தெரியவில்லை. அதனால் எந்த தயக்கமும் இல்லாமல் இந்தப் படத்தில் நடித்தேன். இது ஒரு நடிகராக எனக்கு மிகவும் முக்கியமான அனுபவம்,” என்றார்.

சமூக அக்கறையுடன், கல்வியின் அவசியத்தை வலியுறுத்தும் கருத்தையும், இயற்கையின் மத்தியில் நடந்த கடினமான படப்பிடிப்பையும் இணைத்து உருவாகியுள்ள ‘அருள்வான்’, இந்த மாதத்தின் 17-ஆம் தேதி உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது. படக்குழுவின் நம்பிக்கையைப் போலவே, இந்த திரைப்படம் ரசிகர்களின் மனதிலும் தனித்த இடம் பிடிக்கும் என்ற எதிர்பார்ப்பு அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

 

‘Arulvaan’ Set to Deliver a Powerful Message on Education; Team Shares Their Extraordinary Journey at Press Meet

Chennai: The team of ‘Arulvaan’, an upcoming social drama that highlights the importance of education and the struggles faced by marginalized communities, met the media in Chennai ahead of the film’s worldwide theatrical release on July 17.

Produced by S.G. Saravanan under the banner of 90 Pictures Productions Private Limited and directed by Ganesh Vinayakan, Arulvaan features Arulnithi, Aarav, Ramya Pandian, Baby Krithika, Kaali Venkat, VTV Ganesh, John Vijay, Harish Uthaman, Paruthiveeran Saravanan, and several others in pivotal roles.

The film boasts cinematography by M. Sukumar, music by G.V. Prakash Kumar, art direction by Lalgudi Ilayaraja, and editing by Lawrence Kishore. The film will be released worldwide by Sakthi Film Factory.

Rather than being a conventional commercial entertainer, Arulvaan is positioned as a socially relevant drama that explores the fundamental right to education while shedding light on the lives of people living in remote hill regions with limited access to basic facilities.

During the press interaction, the cast and crew revealed that the film was shot in extremely challenging mountain terrains without road connectivity. The entire team camped in tents for several days, enduring harsh weather conditions, difficult trekking routes, and minimal facilities to bring authenticity to the story.

Actor Kaali Venkat described the shoot as one of the most demanding experiences of his career, saying that reaching the filming locations itself was a daily challenge. However, he added that the breathtaking visuals and the film’s emotionally powerful narrative made every hardship worthwhile. He expressed confidence that Arulvaan would spark meaningful conversations after its release.

Sakthi Film Factory‘s Sakthivelan praised the film for addressing an important social issue through a compelling cinematic narrative. He noted that films focusing on marginalized communities and educational inequality are rare and said he was proud to present a project with such a strong social message.

Making her debut alongside established stars, Baby Krithika expressed gratitude to the filmmakers for believing in her talent. She described the opportunity as a dream come true and appealed to audiences to support the film, which she said was made through the dedication and hard work of more than a hundred artists and technicians.

Actress Ramya Pandian revealed that although she initially intended to stay away from rural-based stories for a while, the script of Arulvaan changed her mind. She said the film’s central theme about children deprived of educational opportunities deeply moved her, making it impossible to turn down the project. She also recalled the unforgettable experience of living and filming in isolated mountain villages.

Director Ganesh Vinayakan called Arulvaan a film born out of pain, hope, and social responsibility. He explained that it is neither an art-house film nor a conventional commercial entertainer but a balanced blend of both. According to him, the narrative revolves around three central characters portrayed by Aarav, Arulnithi, and Baby Krithika, with Baby Krithika’s perspective driving much of the story. He also expressed confidence that her performance would earn widespread acclaim.

Actor Arulnithi shared that he initially agreed to a limited shooting schedule but became increasingly involved after understanding the emotional depth of the story. He said the film’s message on children’s right to education would resonate with audiences across all sections.

Actor Aarav described Arulvaan as one of the most significant films of his career. He said he immediately accepted the role after hearing the script, believing that stories with such social relevance deserve to be told.

With its powerful social message, emotionally engaging narrative, and visually stunning mountain landscapes, ‘Arulvaan’ is gearing up for its worldwide theatrical release on July 17, carrying strong expectations of making both a critical and emotional impact on audiences.
