ZEE5 Announces Vijay Antony’s ‘Nooru Saami’ as Its Next Family Drama, Set for August OTT Premiere

Marking actor Vijay Antony’s birthday, ZEE5 Tamil has officially announced Nooru Saami as its next major OTT release. The emotionally driven family drama is set to premiere exclusively on ZEE5 this August in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, with the official streaming date to be announced soon.

The announcement comes on the heels of the strong digital success of Parimala & Co., which emerged as a favourite among family audiences on ZEE5. Following the overwhelming response to the Jayaram and Urvashi starrer, the platform is now bringing another story rooted in family values, this time with a deeply emotional and socially relevant narrative.

Inspired by real-life incidents, Nooru Saami revolves around the journey of a widowed mother who dedicates years of her life to raising her son and supporting her family. In her mid-forties, she decides to embrace a second chance at life by considering remarriage, only to face resistance from relatives, her village community, and a society that believes a mother’s life should revolve solely around her family.
