Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth serve regal romance as they make their ramp debut at Jayanti Reddy’s India Couture Week show
Bollywood’s favourite couple Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth brought their easy chemistry and understated romance to the runway on Tuesday evening as they closed designer Jayanti Reddy’s show, The Gilded Era, at Hyundai India Couture Week 2026 in New Delhi. This is the couple’s first walk on the ramp together and it felt natural to do it for Reddy, who is a close friend of theirs.
The pair walked hand in hand in coordinated champagne gold ensembles that showed Reddy’s signature design language of heirloom craftsmanship, intricate embroidery and timeless silhouettes. Their appearance was one of the biggest celebrity moments of this year’s couture calendar, with the audience responding as much to their chemistry as to the collection.
Inspired by India’s regal past, the collection, titled The Gilded Era, was a fusion of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary couture. The backbone of the showcase was rich hand embroidery, heritage textiles, ornate detailing and structured occasion wear, remaining true to Reddy’s signature aesthetic of designing garments that feel both archival and relevant for today’s bride and couture clientele.
Aditi, of course, is known for her effortless elegance and she wore an intricately embroidered champagne gold lehenga, complemented with statement jewellery. Siddharth matched her in an embroidered sherwani that echoed the regal mood of the collection. Instead of going for theatrics, the couple kept the presentation intimate, letting glances and attires do the talking at the finale.
What elevated the finale was the ease between Aditi Rao Hydari and Siddharth. There were no choreographed moments but their charm came entirely from being completely at ease with each other. Holding hands, exchanging knowing smiles and letting the clothes take precedence, the couple brought effortlessness to the runway. Their chemistry felt lived-in and added a sense of warmth to a collection that celebrates timeless luxury.
The showcase was part of Hyundai India Couture Week 2026, presented in association with Nexxus New York as an FDCI initiative. As couture week continues to celebrate Indian craftsmanship through leading designers and celebrity showstoppers, Jayanti Reddy’s presentation stood out for marrying heritage dressing with the warmth of a real-life love story, giving The Gilded Era a fittingly elegant conclusion.
