மலையாளம், தமிழ் என பல மொழிகளில் தொடர்ந்து வித்தியாசமான உள்ளடக்கங்களைக் கொண்ட திரைப்படங்கள் ரசிகர்களை கவர்ந்து வரும் நிலையில், அந்த வரிசையில் உண்மைச் சம்பவங்களால் ஈர்க்கப்பட்ட கிரைம்-இன்வெஸ்டிகேஷன் திரில்லராக உருவாகியுள்ள ‘நிறம்’ திரைப்படம் தற்போது திரையுலகின் கவனத்தை ஈர்த்துள்ளது. கே ஸ்கொயர் சினிமாஸ் தயாரிப்பில், அறிமுக இயக்குநர் பலராம் கிருஷ்ணா இயக்கியுள்ள இப்படத்தின் இசை மற்றும் டிரெய்லர் வெளியீட்டு விழா சென்னையில் திரையுலக பிரபலங்கள், படக்குழுவினர் மற்றும் ஊடகங்களின் முன்னிலையில் சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்றது.
“Inspired from True Incidents” என்ற அடைமொழியுடன் வெளியாகியுள்ள டிரெய்லர், வழக்கமான கிரைம் திரைப்படங்களை விட வித்தியாசமான திரைக்கதையையும், பரபரப்பான விசாரணை பாணியையும் வெளிப்படுத்தியதால் ரசிகர்களிடையே நல்ல வரவேற்பைப் பெற்றது. காட்சியமைப்பு, பின்னணி இசை மற்றும் திரைக்கதை உருவாக்கிய எதிர்பார்ப்பு சமூக வலைதளங்களிலும் பேசுபொருளாக மாறியுள்ளது.
விழாவில் பேசிய இசையமைப்பாளர் டி. இமான், இந்தக் கதையை முதன்முதலில் கேட்டபோதே படத்தில் புதுமையான ஒரு கிரைம் திரில்லர் இருப்பதை உணர்ந்ததாக கூறினார். முதல் படத்தை இயக்கும் இயக்குநர் என்ற எண்ணமே வராத அளவிற்கு பலராம் கிருஷ்ணா தெளிவான கண்ணோட்டத்துடன் பணியாற்றியிருப்பதாகவும், கதையின் உணர்வுகளை இசையின் மூலம் இன்னும் வலுப்படுத்த முயன்றதாகவும் அவர் தெரிவித்தார். மேலும், நடிகர்கள் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பக் குழுவினரின் அர்ப்பணிப்பும் படத்தின் முக்கிய பலமாக இருக்கும் என்ற நம்பிக்கையையும் பகிர்ந்தார்.

The makers of ‘Niram’, an intense crime investigation thriller inspired by true incidents, unveiled the film’s audio and official trailer at a grand launch event held in the presence of members of the film fraternity, media representatives, and the entire cast and crew. Produced by K Square Cinemas and directed by debutant Balaram Krishna, the film has already begun generating curiosity with its intriguing premise and gripping visuals.
Carrying the tagline “Inspired from True Incidents,” the trailer offers a glimpse into a suspense-filled investigative thriller packed with unexpected twists, emotionally driven characters, and a compelling narrative. The trailer has received an encouraging response from audiences, with viewers praising its intense storytelling, striking visuals, and D. Imman’s powerful background score.
Speaking at the event, music composer D. Imman said he was immediately impressed by the story when he first heard it. He described Niram as a refreshing crime thriller with a unique narrative and praised director Balaram Krishna for handling his debut film with the confidence and clarity of an experienced filmmaker. Imman also appreciated the dedication of the cast and technicians, expressing confidence that audiences would connect with the film.
Director Balaram Krishna shared that Niram is much more than just a title. According to him, the film explores how people’s emotions, personalities, and decisions change with circumstances, forming the emotional core of the story. He revealed that every scene and every character has been carefully designed to serve the narrative and expressed confidence that audiences would embrace the film’s strong content.
Making his return as a lead actor in Tamil cinema after a long gap, Mugen said he was delighted to be part of the project. He thanked the director for believing in him and giving him the freedom to perform his character naturally. Mugen also described working with D. Imman as a dream come true and requested audiences to support the film in theatres.
Actor Nithin Sathya stated that Niram is a very personal project for him, as it was born out of his long-standing friendship with director Balaram Krishna. Besides acting in the film, he also contributed behind the scenes in coordinating several aspects of the production. Choreographer Sai Bharathi shared that choreographing the song “Noothana” was a memorable experience, especially with its picturesque shoot in Kodaikanal. He appreciated the support of the actors and the film’s technical team for bringing the song to life beautifully.
