After 33 Years, ‘Gentleman’ Returns to the Big Screen on December 11!

One of the most celebrated and successful films in the history of Tamil cinema, ‘Gentleman’, is all set to make a grand return to theatres after 33 years.

Mega producer K.T. Kunjumon has planned a spectacular re-release of the 1993 blockbuster, which will hit screens worldwide on December 11. A brand-new poster has also been unveiled to officially announce and celebrate the film’s re-release.

Released in 1993, ‘Gentleman’ marked the directorial debut of acclaimed filmmaker S. Shankar. With its innovative screenplay, grand visual presentation and unique approach to songs and storytelling, the film established Shankar as a distinctive new voice in Indian cinema.

Starring Action King Arjun in the lead role, Gentleman emerged as a massive success among audiences and at the box office. Its gripping action sequences, romance and engaging narrative made it a favourite among movie lovers. The film also addressed an important social issue through its central storyline, making its theme relevant even today.

The announcement of Gentleman returning to theatres is expected to excite both longtime fans and a new generation of audiences. The re-release offers movie lovers an opportunity to experience the grandeur of the film on the big screen once again.

The film is also remembered for its timeless music composed by A.R. Rahman, Shankar’s distinctive filmmaking style and Arjun’s memorable performance. The popular song ‘Chikku Bukku Rayile’, featuring Prabhu Deva and Gautami, continues to remain a favourite among audiences across generations.
