The promo, which offers a closer look at Robert Downey Jr.’s much-awaited portrayal of Victor von Doom, aka Doctor Doom, has further heightened expectations surrounding the film.

The special footage was unveiled at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, where Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, Academy Award-winning actor Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell took the stage to introduce the exclusive promo.

After bidding farewell to the iconic Tony Stark/Iron Man character in Avengers: Endgame, Robert Downey Jr. is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a completely different avatar. This time, he is not playing a superhero but one of the most formidable villains in the Marvel universe — Doctor Doom.

For the first time, the new promo puts Doctor Doom firmly in the spotlight, offering glimpses into his character and the larger conflict that forms the heart of Avengers: Doomsday.
