மாஸ் மகாராஜா ரவி தேஜா நடிப்பில், இயக்குநர் சிவா நிர்வாணா இயக்கியுள்ள ‘இருமுடி கட்டு’ திரைப்படம் குடும்ப உறவுகள், நம்பிக்கை மற்றும் மனிதர்களின் மனமாற்றத்தை மையமாகக் கொண்டு உருவாகியுள்ளது. மைத்ரி மூவி மேக்கர்ஸ் சார்பில் நவீன் யெர்னேனி மற்றும் ஒய். ரவி சங்கர் தயாரித்துள்ள இப்படம், டி-சீரிஸ் பிலிம்ஸ் வழங்கும் திரைப்படமாக ஆகஸ்ட் 21, 2026 அன்று உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது.

அந்த உறவைச் சுற்றி கதை நகரும் போது, எதிர்பாராத பல திருப்பங்களுடன் ஒரு பெரிய உலகிற்குள் பார்வையாளர்களை படம் அழைத்துச் செல்லும். ரவி தேஜா சார் இதுவரை பார்க்காத வகையில் ஒரு வித்தியாசமான கதாபாத்திரத்தை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு சிறப்பாக நடித்துள்ளார்.

ரவி தேஜா – சிவா நிர்வாணா கூட்டணியில் உருவாகும் முதல் திரைப்படம் என்பதும் ‘இருமுடி கட்டு’ படத்தின் மற்றொரு சிறப்பம்சமாகும். இதில் பிரியா பவானி சங்கர், காவேரி என்ற கதாபாத்திரத்தில் கதாநாயகியாக நடித்துள்ளார். சாய் குமார், பேபி நக்ஷத்ரா உள்ளிட்ட பலர் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர்.

படத்திற்கு விஷ்ணு சர்மா ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்துள்ளார். பிரவீன் புடி படத்தொகுப்பு பணிகளை மேற்கொண்டுள்ளார். ஜி.வி. பிரகாஷ் குமார் இசையமைத்துள்ளார். சாஹி சுரேஷ் தயாரிப்பு வடிவமைப்பை கவனித்துள்ளார். நரேஷ் பாபு பி. திரைக்கதை ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளராக பணியாற்றியுள்ளார்.

“Irumudi Kattu” to Explore the Emotional Bond Between a Father and Daughter – Producers Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s upcoming film Irumudi Kattu, directed by Siva Nirvana, is set to take audiences on an emotional journey centred around family relationships, faith and transformation. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series Films, the film is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on August 21, 2026.

Moving away from the conventional action-driven template, Irumudi Kattu presents Ravi Teja in a different and emotionally layered role. At the heart of the story is the relationship between a father and his daughter, which the makers believe will strike an emotional chord with audiences and allow them to connect with the characters on a personal level.

Speaking about the film, producers Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar said, “We were immediately drawn to the story when Siva Nirvana narrated it to us. The emotional core of the film, particularly the relationship between the father and daughter, is something audiences will be able to relate to.

“As the story progresses, it takes the audience into a much larger and unexpected world, with several emotional turns along the way. Ravi Teja sir has delivered a wonderful performance and it is exciting to see him take on such a different and emotionally driven character.

Irumudi Kattu marks the first collaboration between Ravi Teja and director Siva Nirvana. Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead, essaying the role of Kaveri. Sai Kumar, Baby Nakshatra and several other prominent actors are part of the cast.

Vishnu Sharma is the cinematographer, while Praveen Pudi handles the editing. G.V. Prakash Kumar has composed the music, with Sahi Suresh serving as the production designer and Naresh Babu P. as the screenplay coordinator.

Gulshan Kumar, Bhushan Kumar and T-Series Films present the movie under the T-Series Films banner. Shiv Chanana serves as co-producer, while Neeraj Kalyan is the Head of T-Series and Cherry serves as the Chief Executive Officer.

With its focus on family bonds, human emotions and personal transformation, Irumudi Kattu promises to showcase Ravi Teja in a new dimension while bringing Siva Nirvana’s emotionally rich storytelling to the big screen.
