அப்பா – மகன் உறவின் ஆழத்தைச் சொல்ல வரும் ஜீவாவின் ‘தகப்பன்’… டிசம்பர் 24-ல் திரைக்கு வருகிறது!

மதுரை மண்ணின் மண்வாசனையுடன் குடும்ப உணர்வுகளைப் பேசும் புதிய படம்!

நடிகர் ஜீவா நடிப்பில், இயக்குநர் ரா. வெங்கட் இயக்கத்தில் உருவாகியுள்ள ‘தகப்பன்’ திரைப்படம் வரும் டிசம்பர் 24-ஆம் தேதி உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது. லார்க் ஸ்டூடியோஸ் தயாரிப்பில் உருவாகும் இப்படத்தின் வெளியீட்டுத் தேதியைப் படக்குழு புதிய போஸ்டருடன் அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக அறிவித்துள்ளது.

குடும்ப உறவுகள், அப்பா – மகன் இடையேயான பாசம், மனிதர்களின் உணர்வுகள் என வாழ்வின் நெருக்கமான தருணங்களை மையமாகக் கொண்டு இப்படம் உருவாகியுள்ளது. மதுரை மற்றும் அதன் சுற்றுவட்டாரப் பகுதிகளில் கதைக்களம் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதால், கிராமத்து வாழ்க்கையின் இயல்பையும் மண்ணின் மணத்தையும் திரையில் பதிவு செய்யும் படைப்பாக ‘தகப்பன்’ இருக்கும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.

வெளியீட்டுத் தேதி அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள நிலையில், ‘தகப்பன்’ படத்தின் இறுதிக்கட்டப் பணிகள் தற்போது தீவிரமாக நடைபெற்று வருகின்றன. குடும்பப் பாசத்தையும் தலைமுறைகளுக்கு இடையேயான உறவுகளையும் மையமாகக் கொண்டு உருவாகியுள்ள இப்படம், டிசம்பர் 24-ஆம் தேதி திரையரங்குகளில் ரசிகர்களைச் சந்திக்கத் தயாராகி வருகிறது.

A Heartfelt Family Drama Set Against the Rustic Backdrop of Madurai

Actor Jiiva’s upcoming film Thagappan, directed by Ra. Venkat and produced under the Lark Studios banner, is all set to release in theatres worldwide on December 24. The makers officially announced the release date with an impressive new poster, raising expectations among audiences.

Set against the backdrop of Madurai and its surrounding regions, Thagappan revolves around the bond between a father and son, family affection, and the many emotions that shape human relationships. With its rural setting and rooted storytelling, the film is expected to capture the authentic flavour of village life and the cultural essence of Madurai.

Reports suggest that members of the public who witnessed certain scenes during the film’s shoot in Madurai were moved by what they saw and appreciated the team. This has further heightened curiosity and anticipation surrounding the film.

Following Thenavattu, Thagappan marks Jiiva’s return to a film set entirely against a rural backdrop. After the success of his recent film TTT, the actor’s decision to take on a story steeped in the culture and traditions of Madurai has attracted considerable attention from fans. The makers are confident that the film will stand out as a distinctive addition to Jiiva’s filmography.

Rajisha Vijayan plays the female lead in the film. The music is composed by independent musician Marshall Robinson, who has experience working with leading composers, including Anirudh. His score is expected to complement the emotional depth of the narrative.

K. Kumar serves as the producer, with M. Sukumar handling cinematography. Nagooran Ramachandran is in charge of editing, while K.B. Nandhapalan oversees art direction. Think Music has acquired the audio rights to the film. In another significant development, Zee Tamil has secured the satellite rights, while ZEE5 has acquired the digital streaming rights even before the film’s production was completed.

With the release date now officially announced, the team is actively working on the final stages of production. Blending family relationships, emotional storytelling, and the rustic charm of Madurai, Thagappan is gearing up for its worldwide theatrical release on December 24.
