“நீட் தேர்வில் சமமான வாய்ப்பும், வெளிப்படையான நடைமுறையும் உறுதி செய்யப்பட வேண்டும்; மாணவர் நலனே முதன்மை” – தீப்ஷிகா வலியுறுத்தல்

நீட் தேர்வைச் சுற்றி நாடு முழுவதும் எழுந்துள்ள விவாதங்கள் மற்றும் மாணவர்களின் கவலைகள் குறித்து நடிகையும் முன்னாள் நீட் தேர்வு மாணவியுமான தீப்ஷிகா தனது கருத்தை வெளியிட்டுள்ளார். மாணவர்களின் எதிர்காலத்தை தீர்மானிக்கும் முக்கியத் தேர்வாக நீட் தொடருமானால், அதற்கான தயாரிப்பு, பயிற்சி மற்றும் தேர்வு நடைமுறைகள் அனைவருக்கும் சமமானதாக இருக்க வேண்டும் என்று அவர் வலியுறுத்தியுள்ளார்.
இதுகுறித்து அவர் கூறியதாவது:
“மருத்துவத் துறையில் நாளை உயிர்களைக் காக்கப் போகும் திறமையான மருத்துவர்களைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கும் முக்கியப் பொறுப்பை நீட் தேர்வு வகிக்கிறது. எனவே, இந்தத் தேர்வில் திறமை மட்டுமே வெற்றியை நிர்ணயிக்கும் சூழல் உருவாக வேண்டும். அதற்கு மாணவர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் சமமான கல்வி வாய்ப்பும், தரமான பயிற்சியும் கிடைப்பது மிகவும் அவசியம்.
குறிப்பாக அரசு மற்றும் கிராமப்புறப் பள்ளிகளில் பயிலும் மாணவர்களுக்கு தரமான நீட் பயிற்சி, போதுமான கல்வி வளங்கள் மற்றும் வழிகாட்டுதல்கள் கிடைக்க வேண்டும். நானும் ஒரு காலத்தில் நீட் தேர்வை எதிர்கொண்ட மாணவி என்பதால், மாணவர்கள் சந்திக்கும் அழுத்தங்களையும் சவால்களையும் நன்றாக உணர்கிறேன்.
அதேநேரத்தில், தேர்வில் நடைபெறும் முறைகேடுகள் குறித்து முழுமையான விசாரணை நடத்தப்பட்டு, அதற்குப் பொறுப்பானவர்கள் மீது உரிய நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட வேண்டும். பாதிக்கப்பட்ட மாணவர்களுக்கு நியாயமான தீர்வு வழங்கப்படுவதுடன், தேர்வு முறையின் நம்பகத்தன்மை மற்றும் வெளிப்படைத்தன்மையை மேலும் வலுப்படுத்தும் சீர்திருத்தங்களும் அவசியமாகும்.
மாணவர்களின் உரிமை, சமத்துவம் மற்றும் கல்விச் சீர்திருத்தங்களை முன்னிறுத்தும் இந்தக் குரல், மாணவர்களால் முன்னெடுக்கப்படும் நேர்மையான இயக்கமாகவே தொடர வேண்டும். இதனை அரசியல் நோக்கங்களுக்காகப் பயன்படுத்தவோ, பிளவுபடுத்தவோ கூடாது. மாணவர்களின் நலனும், அவர்களின் எதிர்காலமும் மட்டுமே இந்த விவாதத்தின் மையமாக இருக்க வேண்டும்,” என்று தீப்ஷிகா தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

Amid the ongoing discussions surrounding the NEET examination, actress and former NEET aspirant Deepshikha has called for greater fairness, accountability, and equal opportunities in the medical entrance examination process. Stressing that merit can only prevail when every student is given the same chance to compete, she urged authorities to strengthen the integrity of the examination system.
Sharing her views, Deepshikha said:
“An examination that determines the future of aspiring doctors carries an enormous responsibility. If NEET continues to be the benchmark for admission to medical colleges, then every student must have equal access to quality preparation and learning opportunities.
Students studying in government and rural schools, in particular, should be provided with high-quality NEET coaching, better academic resources, and proper guidance. As someone who was once a NEET aspirant myself, I understand the challenges, pressure, and expectations that students experience during this journey.
At the same time, those responsible for any malpractice or irregularities in the examination process must be held accountable. Justice should be delivered to affected students, and meaningful reforms must be introduced to strengthen the credibility, transparency, and trustworthiness of the examination system.
This movement should continue to remain a student-led initiative focused on protecting the interests of students. It should not be divided or influenced by political agendas. The conversation must remain centred on student welfare, equal opportunity, accountability, and educational reforms.”
Deepshikha’s statement highlights the growing demand for a more equitable and transparent examination system that ensures every deserving student has an equal chance to pursue a career in medicine.
