இளம் இசையமைப்பாளரும் பாடகருமான சாய் அபயங்கரின் 6-வது சுயாதீன இசைப்பாடலான ‘ரதிமா’ (Radhimaa) வெளியாகியுள்ளது. திங்க் இண்டி (Think Indie) சார்பில் வெளியாகியுள்ள இந்தப் பாடல், காதல் முறிவை மையமாகக் கொண்டிருந்தாலும், வழக்கமான சோக மனநிலையைத் தவிர்த்து, இளமைத் துடிப்பும் நேர்மறையான உணர்வும் கலந்த இசை அனுபவமாக உருவாகியுள்ளது.

இளம் ரசிகர்கள் மத்தியில் ஏற்கனவே தனக்கென ஒரு இசை அடையாளத்தை உருவாக்கியுள்ள சாய் அபயங்கர், தனது முந்தைய இண்டி பாடல்களின் வெற்றியைத் தொடர்ந்து ‘ரதிமா’ மூலம் புதிய இசை முயற்சியை முன்வைத்துள்ளார். குறிப்பாக, பாப் இசை மற்றும் கவ்வாலி இசை அம்சங்களின் கலவை, பாடலுக்கு தனித்துவமான ஒலி அனுபவத்தை வழங்குகிறது.

‘Radhimaa’ Presents a Fresh Musical Perspective on Heartbreak – Sai Abhyankkar’s Sixth Indie Single Released

Young composer and singer Sai Abhyankkar has released his sixth independent single, ‘Radhimaa’. Presented by Think Indie, the song explores heartbreak through a vibrant musical framework that moves beyond conventional melancholy, combining youthful energy with a positive outlook.

Blending the dynamism of contemporary pop with elements of Qawwali, ‘Radhimaa’ presents separation not solely as an experience of pain, but as a state of mind that looks towards the next chapter of life. Sai Abhyankkar’s distinctive musical sensibility further enhances the song’s appeal.

The music video features Sai Abhyankkar alongside actress Bhagyashri Borse. Directed by Tejo Bharadwaj, the video portrays the contrast between the song’s upbeat musical arrangement and its underlying theme of heartbreak. Shaiyu Khalid serves as the director of photography, while Ajayan Salissery has handled the art direction.

Grand Release in the Presence of More Than 13,000 Students

‘Radhimaa’ was released on August 24 across leading music platforms. As part of the launch, a special release event was held at Rajalakshmi Engineering College in Chennai, where more than 13,000 students gathered to celebrate the song.

Having established a distinct musical identity among young listeners, Sai Abhyankkar continues his exploration of contemporary independent music with ‘Radhimaa’, following the success of his earlier releases. The song’s fusion of pop and Qawwali elements gives it a distinctive sonic character.

Vivek has written the lyrics, while Nargis and Ashna have contributed the female vocals. Semvi, Rumi and others have provided additional vocals. Sai Abhyankkar has composed, sung and produced the song, in addition to contributing to the synth, keyboard, bass, rhythm and tabla arrangements.

Keba has played the guitars. Sachin Kavithiya has performed on the bulbul tarang, while Ashish has contributed the flute and saxophone. Aakash Shiravann has overseen vocal mixing and provided creative consultation. Sai Abhyankkar mixed the song at YOLO Records, while Rupender Venkatesh handled the mastering.

‘Radhimaa’ Presented with a Distinctive Visual Style

Directed by Tejo Bharadwaj, the music video has been produced by Theepetti Pictures. Shaiyu Khalid has handled the cinematography, Ajayan Salissery the art direction, Sarthak Seema the editing, Shruthi Manjari the costume design and Anusha Viswanathan the choreography. VFX has been handled by Mad House Studios.

Several technicians and artists have contributed to the project. Waseem Haider and Anamay Prakash have served as executive producers, while Ayush Aravind has been the project lead. Brown Crew Productions has handled the line production.

Bringing together music, visuals and choreography, ‘Radhimaa’ marks another notable addition to Sai Abhyankkar’s independent music journey. With its energetic sound and memorable melody, the song is poised to connect with young audiences.
