The office-bearers and executive committee members of the South Indian Film Writers Association recently met Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan at the Rajkamal Films International office in Chennai.

The courtesy meeting, held on Saturday, turned into a memorable interaction for the members of the association, who had the opportunity to engage with one of Indian cinema’s most accomplished writers and creative visionaries.

In a statement issued after the meeting, the association said that Kamal Haasan is not only celebrated as one of Indian cinema’s finest actors but is also a pioneering writer who has made a significant contribution to the evolution of storytelling in Tamil cinema.
