செப்டம்பர் 4-ல் வெளியாகிறது “ஏன் என்னை ஏதோ செய்தாய்”

Anthony’s Atelier நிறுவனம் சார்பில் டி. ஆண்டனி எழுதி, இயக்கி, தயாரித்து, கதாநாயகனாக நடித்துள்ள திரைப்படம் “ஏன் என்னை ஏதோ செய்தாய்”. காதல், தனிமை, மனதில் புதைந்திருக்கும் வலி ஆகியவற்றை மையமாகக் கொண்டு உருவாகியுள்ள இப்படம், வரும் செப்டம்பர் 4-ஆம் தேதி திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது.
படத்தின் வெளியீட்டை முன்னிட்டு நடைபெற்ற பத்திரிகையாளர் சந்திப்பில் படக்குழுவினர் கலந்து கொண்டு, திரைப்படத்தின் கதைக்களம், கதாபாத்திரங்கள், உருவாக்கத்தில் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்ட புதிய முயற்சிகள் உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு தகவல்களை பகிர்ந்து கொண்டனர்.
பொதுவாக காதல் கதைகள் என்றாலே காதலர்களின் சந்திப்பு, பிரிவு, இணைவு என நகரும் நிலையில், “ஏன் என்னை ஏதோ செய்தாய்” திரைப்படம் காதலின் வழியாக ஒரு மனிதனுக்குள் ஏற்படும் மாற்றத்தையும், அவனது மனப்போராட்டங்களையும் பேசும் படமாக உருவாகியுள்ளது.
தாயை இழந்து சிறு வயதிலிருந்தே தனிமையில் வளர்ந்த இளைஞன் ஒருவன், வாழ்க்கையின் வெறுமையால் மதுவுக்கு அடிமையாகி இருளான பாதையில் சிக்கித் தவிக்கிறான். அவனது வாழ்க்கையில் எதிர்பாராத விதமாக காதல் நுழைகிறது. அந்தக் காதல் அவனுக்குள் ஏற்படுத்தும் மாற்றங்கள், வாழ்க்கையை மீண்டும் எதிர்கொள்ளும் நம்பிக்கை, காதலின் பின்னால் இருக்கும் வலி ஆகியவற்றை உணர்வுப்பூர்வமாக சொல்லும் கதையாக இப்படம் உருவாகியுள்ளது.

இப்படத்தின் மூலம் கதாநாயகியாக அறிமுகமாகும் மதுமிதா தாஸ் பேசுகையில்,
“இது என்னுடைய முதல் திரைப்படம். அறிமுகப் படம் என்பதால் மிகவும் உற்சாகமாக இருக்கிறேன். இந்தக் கதாபாத்திரத்தின் மீது நம்பிக்கை வைத்து, என்னால் அதை சிறப்பாக செய்ய முடியும் என்று நம்பி வாய்ப்பு வழங்கிய இயக்குநரும் தயாரிப்பாளருமான டி. ஆண்டனி சாருக்கு நன்றி.
பொதுவாக அதிகம் பேசப்படாத ஒரு கதாபாத்திரத்தை மையமாக வைத்து நடித்தது எனக்கு மிகப்பெரிய சவாலாக இருந்தது. அதே நேரத்தில், அது எனக்கு சிறந்த அனுபவமாகவும் அமைந்தது. இந்த கதாபாத்திரத்திற்காக 18 நாட்கள் நடைபெற்ற பயிற்சிப் பட்டறையில் கலந்து கொண்டேன்.
வேறு நகரம், வேறு மொழி என்ற சூழ்நிலையிலும் படக்குழுவினர் எனக்கு அளித்த ஆதரவு மிகப்பெரிய பலமாக இருந்தது. டீசரில் அந்த கதாபாத்திரத்தின் பெங்காலி பின்னணியும், அதன் தன்மையும் அழகாக வெளிப்பட்டிருப்பதை பார்க்க முடிகிறது.
படத்திற்காக பாடல்களை எழுதிய கார்த்திக் நேத்தா சாருக்கும், இசையமைப்பாளர்கள் அசோக் ஸ்ரீதரன், ஜெய்கார் ஹரிநாத் ஆகியோருக்கும் நன்றி. ஜீவா ரவி சார், நவ்யா சுஜி, ஆலம் ஷா உள்ளிட்ட அனைவரின் ஆதரவும் மறக்க முடியாதது.
இந்தப் படத்திற்காக நாங்கள் நிறைய உழைப்பையும் உணர்வுகளையும் கொடுத்திருக்கிறோம். படம் ரசிகர்களிடம் எவ்வாறு சென்றடையும் என்பதை ஆவலுடன் எதிர்பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்” என்றார்.

இயக்குநர், தயாரிப்பாளர் மற்றும் கதாநாயகன் டி. ஆண்டனி கூறுகையில்,
“இந்தப் படத்தை உருவாக்கும் பயணத்தில் எனக்கு துணையாக இருந்த அனைவருக்கும் முதலில் நன்றி தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறேன்.
சென்னைக்கு வந்த புதிதில் சி.வி. குமார் சார் மூலமாக ஹரிஷ், சந்தோஷ் ஆகியோர் அறிமுகமானார்கள். தயாரிப்பு பணிகளில் அவர்கள் எனக்கு மிகப்பெரிய ஆதரவாக இருந்தார்கள். தயாரிப்பு மேலாளர் விஜய் அண்ணாவும் படப்பிடிப்பு தொடங்கியது முதல் இறுதி வரை சிறப்பாக பணியாற்றினார்.
மதுமிதா இந்தப் படத்திற்காக 18 நாட்கள் வொர்க்ஷாப் செய்தார். வேறு நகரம், வேறு மொழி என்றாலும் கதாபாத்திரத்தை புரிந்து கொண்டு மிகுந்த அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் பணியாற்றினார்.
ஜீவா ரவி சார் எனக்கு தந்தையைப் போன்ற ஆதரவை வழங்கினார். ஆலம் ஷா, நவ்யா, ராஜேந்திரன் சிங், மாதங்கி உள்ளிட்ட அனைவருடனும் பணியாற்றியது நல்ல அனுபவமாக இருந்தது.
கலை இயக்குநர் சுரேந்தரன் கதாபாத்திரங்களின் குணாதிசயங்களை வெளிப்படுத்தும் வகையில் வீடு, அறைகள் உள்ளிட்ட ஒவ்வொரு இடத்தையும் சிறப்பாக வடிவமைத்தார்.
ஜெய்கார் ஹரிநாத் இசையமைப்பாளராக மட்டுமின்றி லைவ் சவுண்ட் பணியிலும் மிகப்பெரிய பங்களிப்பை செய்தார். அசோக் ஸ்ரீதரன் படத்தின் இசைக்கு வலுவான அடித்தளத்தை அமைத்ததுடன், கார்த்திக் நேத்தா உள்ளிட்ட பல திறமையான கலைஞர்களை படத்துடன் இணைக்கவும் உதவினார்.
படத்திற்கான தலைப்பை நீண்ட நாட்களாக தேடிக் கொண்டிருந்தோம். அப்போது கார்த்திக் நேத்தா சார் ‘ஏன் என்னை ஏதோ செய்தாய்’ என்ற தலைப்பை சொன்னார். அந்த முதல் வரியிலேயே ஒரு மேஜிக் இருந்தது. பலரும் இந்த தலைப்பு மிகவும் கவித்துவமாக இருக்கிறது என்று பாராட்டினர்.
என்னுடைய இணை இயக்குநர் ஜேனட் ஆரம்பம் முதல் இன்று வரை எனக்கு மிகப்பெரிய ஆதரவாக இருந்துள்ளார். படத்தொகுப்பு பணியிலும் என்னுடன் இணைந்து பணியாற்றியுள்ளார். மார்க்கெட்டிங் பணிகளில் விவேக் அமிர்தலிங்கம், சதீஷ் அண்ணா ஆகியோர் பெரிதும் உதவினர்.
குறிப்பாக தனஞ்செயன் சார் செய்த உதவியை மறக்க முடியாது. இரண்டு வாரங்களுக்கு முன்பு வரை படம் வெளியாகுமா என்ற நம்பிக்கையே எனக்கு இல்லை. விநியோகம் தொடர்பான பிரச்சினையை அவரிடம் தெரிவித்ததும், உடனடியாக உதவி செய்து அதை சரி செய்தார். அவருடைய உதவி இல்லையென்றால் இந்த நிகழ்வே நடைபெற்றிருக்காது.
ஒரு புதுமுகமாக சினிமா குறித்து அவருடைய வீடியோக்கள் மூலம் நான் நிறைய விஷயங்களை கற்றுக் கொண்டிருக்கிறேன். இந்தப் பயணம் மிகவும் கடினமானதாக இருந்தாலும், அதே அளவுக்கு பல விஷயங்களை கற்றுக் கொடுத்துள்ளது. இன்று இந்தப் படத்தை வெளிச்சத்திற்கு கொண்டு வந்திருப்பது மிகப்பெரிய மகிழ்ச்சி” என்றார்.
“அழகான, கவித்துவமான காதல் கதை” – தனஞ்செயன்
தயாரிப்பாளர் தனஞ்செயன் பேசுகையில்,
“சில வாரங்களுக்கு முன்பு ஆண்டனியின் படத்தின் போஸ்டரை பார்த்தேன். படம் குறித்து தெரிந்து கொள்ள அவரை தொடர்பு கொண்டேன். உடனடியாக பிரிவியூ ஏற்பாடு செய்து படத்தை பார்க்க வைத்தார்.
குறுகிய காலத்தில் உருவாக்கப்பட்டிருந்தாலும், ‘ஏன் என்னை ஏதோ செய்தாய்’ அழகான, கவித்துவமான காதல் கதையாக இருக்கிறது. ஆண்டனி, மதுமிதா தாஸ் இருவரின் நடிப்பும் சிறப்பாக உள்ளது. ஆலம் ஷா, நவ்யா சுஜி, ஜீவா ரவி உள்ளிட்ட அனைவரும் தங்களது கதாபாத்திரங்களுக்கு சிறப்பான பங்களிப்பை செய்துள்ளனர்.
கார்த்திக் நேத்தாவின் பாடல் வரிகள், அசோக் ஸ்ரீதரன் மற்றும் ஜெய்கார் ஹரிநாத்தின் இசை, ஒளிப்பதிவு உள்ளிட்ட தொழில்நுட்ப அம்சங்கள் படத்தின் தரத்தை உயர்த்தியுள்ளன.
குறிப்பாக டப்பிங் இல்லாமல் சிங்க் சவுண்ட் முறையில் படத்தை உருவாக்கியிருப்பது பாராட்டுக்குரிய முயற்சி. இவ்வளவு குறுகிய காலத்தில் ஒரு தரமான திரைப்படத்தை உருவாக்க முடிந்ததற்கு சிறப்பான முன்தயாரிப்புதான் முக்கிய காரணம்.
சிறு படங்களுக்கு ஊடகங்களின் ஆதரவு மிகவும் அவசியம். பெரிய படங்களுக்கு கிடைக்கும் கவனத்துடன் இதுபோன்ற நல்ல சிறு படங்களுக்கும் ஊடக நண்பர்கள் ஆதரவு அளிக்க வேண்டும்.
தற்போது செப்டம்பர் 1-ஆம் தேதி முதல் புதிய படங்களின் படப்பிடிப்பு மற்றும் வெளியீடு தொடர்பாக தயாரிப்பாளர்கள் சங்கம் வேலைநிறுத்தம் அறிவித்துள்ளது. இதுதொடர்பாக அனைத்து தயாரிப்பாளர்களுடனும் ஆலோசனை நடைபெற உள்ளது. திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகி 8 வாரங்கள் ஆன படங்களை ஓடிடி நிறுவனங்கள் வாங்குவது தொடர்பாகவும் பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடைபெற்று வருகிறது.
தமிழ்நாடு அரசும் இந்தப் பிரச்சினையை கவனத்தில் கொண்டு, அனைவரும் கலந்து பேசி தொழில்துறைக்கு பாதிப்பு ஏற்படாத வகையில் நல்ல முடிவு எடுக்குமாறு கேட்டுக் கொண்டுள்ளது. எனவே விரைவில் நல்ல முடிவு கிடைக்கும் என்று நம்புகிறோம்.
ஆண்டனி விரும்பியபடி ‘ஏன் என்னை ஏதோ செய்தாய்’ திரைப்படம் செப்டம்பர் 4-ஆம் தேதி வெளியாகி மிகப்பெரிய வெற்றியை பெற வேண்டும்” என்று வாழ்த்தினார்.
தொழில்நுட்பத்திலும் வித்தியாசமான முயற்சி
காதல் கதையை மட்டுமே மையமாகக் கொள்ளாமல், கதாபாத்திரங்களின் மனநிலையையும் உணர்வுகளையும் இயல்பாக பதிவு செய்யும் வகையில் திரைப்படம் உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக படக்குழுவினர் தெரிவித்தனர்.
குறிப்பாக சிங்க் சவுண்ட் முறையில், காட்சிகளுக்கான உரையாடல்களை பின்னணி டப்பிங் இல்லாமல் படப்பிடிப்பு தளத்திலேயே பதிவு செய்திருப்பது இப்படத்தின் குறிப்பிடத்தக்க தொழில்நுட்ப அம்சமாக கூறப்படுகிறது.

‘Yen Ennai Yedho Seithai’ to Release on September 4 An Intense Romantic Drama Exploring Love, Loneliness and the Pain of Life
Chennai: Anthony’s Atelier presents ‘Yen Ennai Yedho Seithai’, an intense romantic drama written, directed and produced by T. Anthony, who also plays the lead role in the film. The movie is set to hit theatres on September 4.
Ahead of its theatrical release, the team interacted with members of the press and media, sharing details about the film’s storyline, characters and unique technical aspects.
Unlike conventional romantic dramas that largely revolve around love, separation and reunion, Yen Ennai Yedho Seithai explores the emotional transformation of a man and the impact that love can have on someone struggling with loneliness and inner turmoil.
The film revolves around a young man who loses his mother at an early age and grows up in isolation. Unable to cope with the emptiness in his life, he becomes addicted to alcohol and finds himself trapped in a dark phase of his life. When love unexpectedly enters his world, it brings about a transformation in him and gives him a reason to look at life differently.
The film explores how love becomes a source of hope and takes him from darkness towards light.

Making her acting debut with Yen Ennai Yedho Seithai, actress Madhumitha Das said,
“Hello everyone. This is my first film and I am extremely excited about it. Since this is my debut, I would like to sincerely thank director and producer T. Anthony sir for believing in me and giving me this opportunity.
Playing a character that is not often explored was both challenging and a wonderful experience for me. I underwent an 18-day workshop for the role and put in a lot of effort to understand the character. Even though I was working in a different city and in a different language, the support from the entire team helped me tremendously.
The teaser beautifully brings out the Bengali background and essence of my character.
I would also like to thank lyricist Karthik Netha and composers Ashok Sridharan and Jaikaar Harinath for their wonderful contribution to the film. Working alongside Jeeva Ravi sir, Navya Suji, Alam Shah and the entire team was a great experience.
We have put in a lot of hard work and emotions into this film, and I am eagerly looking forward to seeing how audiences receive it.”
“The magic happened with the first line itself,” says T. Anthony
Director, producer and lead actor T. Anthony said,
“First of all, I would like to thank everyone who supported me throughout this journey.
When I was new to Chennai, I was introduced to Harish and Santhosh through C.V. Kumar sir. They provided tremendous support during the production of the film. Our production manager Vijay anna also worked exceptionally well from the beginning of the shoot until its completion.
Madhumitha underwent an 18-day workshop for this film and worked with tremendous dedication despite having to adapt to a different city and language. Jeeva Ravi sir gave me the kind of support one would receive from a father. Working with Alam Shah, Navya, Rajendran Singh, Mathangi and the rest of the cast was a wonderful experience.
Art director Surendran anna designed the rooms and other locations in a way that beautifully reflected the nature and personalities of the characters.
Jaikaar Harinath contributed not only as a composer but also provided tremendous support with the live sound recording. Ashok Sridharan laid a strong musical foundation for the film and also helped bring several talented artistes, including Karthik Netha, on board.
We had been searching for the right title for a long time. It was Karthik Netha sir who suggested ‘Yen Ennai Yedho Seithai’. The magic happened with that first line itself. Many people appreciated the title for its poetic quality.
My co-director Janet has been a huge source of support from the beginning until today. She also worked with me during the editing process. Vivek Amirthalingam and Satish anna provided great support with the marketing activities.
I especially cannot thank Dhananjayan sir enough. Until two weeks ago, I wasn’t even sure whether the film would be released. When I told him about the distribution issue, he immediately stepped in and helped resolve it. Without his support, this event would not have happened.
As a newcomer, I have also learned a lot about cinema through the videos he shares. This journey has been extremely challenging, but it has also taught me many valuable lessons. Bringing this film into the light today is a very special moment for me. I sincerely thank my family and every member of the team who stood by me throughout this journey.”
“A beautiful and poetic love story,” says Dhananjayan

“A few weeks ago, I came across the poster of Anthony’s film and contacted him because I wanted to watch it. He immediately arranged a preview screening for me.
Although the film was made within a short period, Yen Ennai Yedho Seithai has shaped up as a beautiful and poetic love story.
Anthony and Madhumitha Das have delivered impressive performances. Alam Shah, Navya Suji, Jeeva Ravi and the other actors have also performed well.
The lyrics by Karthik Netha, music by Ashok Sridharan and Jaikaar Harinath, cinematography and other technical elements have enhanced the overall quality of the film.
The decision to use sync sound without dubbing is particularly commendable. The fact that the team managed to create a quality film within such a short period is a result of thorough pre-production.
Small films need strong support from the media. The media should not only support big-budget films but also extend their encouragement to promising smaller films like this.
At present, the Tamil film industry is facing discussions concerning the proposed strike from September 1 regarding the shooting and release of new films. Producers are expected to hold discussions on the issue. There are also ongoing talks regarding the OTT release window, particularly concerning the purchase of films after eight weeks of theatrical release.
The Tamil Nadu government has also taken note of the situation and urged all stakeholders to discuss the matter and arrive at a decision that does not adversely affect the industry. We hope a positive solution will emerge soon.
I sincerely wish Yen Ennai Yedho Seithai a successful theatrical release on September 4 and hope it becomes a major success, as Anthony wishes.”
