கடந்த பிப்ரவரி மாதம் நடைபெற்ற பிரத்யேக Motion Capture படப்பிடிப்பில், 37 கலைஞர்கள் ஒரே நேரத்தில், ஒரே Capture Volume-க்குள் நிகழ்நேரத்தில் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டனர். இந்த சாதனைக்கான அதிகாரப்பூர்வ அங்கீகாரம் செப்டம்பர் 15, 2026 அன்று வழங்கப்பட்டது.

இந்த சாதனையை அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக அங்கீகரிக்கும் Guinness World Records சான்றிதழ், படத்தின் நாயகன் அல்லு அர்ஜுன் மற்றும் இயக்குநர் அட்லீ ஆகியோரிடம் கின்னஸ் உலக சாதனையின் மூத்த நடுவர் ஸ்வப்னில் டாங்ரிகர் வழங்கினார்.

Icon Star Allu Arjun’s upcoming magnum opus ‘RAAKA’, directed by V. Arunkumar (Atlee) and produced by Sun Pictures’ Kalanithi Maran, has achieved a remarkable milestone even before its theatrical release.
The film has earned a Guinness World Records title for the “Most People Motion-Captured in Real-Time,” after successfully capturing the performances of 37 artists simultaneously in real time.
The record was achieved during a specially conducted motion-capture session in February 2026, marking a significant technological achievement for Indian cinema. The feat was officially recognised by Guinness World Records on September 15, 2026.
Guinness Certificate Presented to Allu Arjun and Atlee
The official Guinness World Records certificate was presented to Icon Star Allu Arjun and director Atlee by Swapnil Dangrikar, Senior Adjudicator, Guinness World Records.
The certification ceremony was held in the presence of key members of the film’s cast and technical crew.

Speaking about the achievement, Allu Arjun expressed his pride in the team’s accomplishment and said that the record represents an effort to push the boundaries of cinema and establish a new benchmark on a global scale.

From a 4-Year-Old Child to a 70-Year-Old: 37 Performers Captured Together
One of the most notable aspects of the motion-capture exercise was the diverse group of performers involved.
A total of 37 performers, ranging from a 4-year-old child to a 70-year-old, were captured simultaneously in real time during a single session.
The challenge was to accurately record each performer’s individual movements and performances within the same capture volume while ensuring that the integrity and uniqueness of every performance remained intact.
92 Optical Motion-Capture Cameras Deployed
To execute this ambitious Guinness World Records attempt, the film’s VFX team developed a dedicated motion-capture pipeline and workflow tailored specifically to the scale and technical requirements of ‘RAAKA’.
As many as 92 optical motion-capture cameras were deployed for the record attempt.
The technical setup integrated multiple advanced systems, including capture, calibration, networking, synchronisation, real-time Unreal visualisation, witness cameras and facial capture, along with specialised technical teams.
The coordinated system enabled the team to capture and monitor the performances of all 37 participants simultaneously and accurately.
