Chheda’s Celebrates Ganesh Utsav at Lalbaugcha Raja, Offers Kesar Modak as Bhog
Mumbai, Maharashtra | September 2026: Chheda’s, the homegrown food brand from Chheda Specialities Foods Private Limited, is celebrating Ganesh Utsav at Mumbai’s iconic Lalbaugcha Raja with a special selection of fasting favourites, new snack flavours and traditional sweets.
Built around the festive thought “Chheda’s Welcomes You Bappa,” the brand’s stall brings together festive favourites along with its latest product launches. The stall features fasting favourites such as Yellow Banana Chips made with Rock Salt and Farali Chivda, along with festive favourites including Kesar Modak, Assorted Modak and Kaju Katli.
Taking centre stage are the newly launched Cheese Jalapeño Banana Chips, Peri Peri Banana Chips, Mexican Tomato Potato Chips and Chilli Flamin’ Potato Chips, giving devotees an opportunity to experience Chheda’s newest flavours during the festivities.
As part of the celebrations, Chheda’s will offer its Kesar Modak as bhog to Lalbaugcha Raja. The gesture brings the brand’s festive offering closer to one of Mumbai’s most cherished Ganesh Utsav traditions and adds a special touch to its presence at the pandal.

The association comes at a time when Chheda’s is placing greater focus on its sweets portfolio, with Modak taking centre stage for Ganesh Utsav. The sweets range includes Kesar Modak, Assorted Modak in three flavours, Kaju Katli and a wide selection of other sweets, which will be available directly to consumers during one of Maharashtra’s biggest celebrations.
