பிரபல இயக்குநர் R. சந்துரு தயாரிப்பில் உருவாகியுள்ள இப்படத்தை ‘குங்குமப்பூவும் கொஞ்சும் புறாவும்’, ‘வானவராயன் வல்லவராயன்’, ‘அட்ரஸ்’ உள்ளிட்ட படங்களை இயக்கிய ராஜ்மோகன் இயக்கியுள்ளார். டார்லிங் கிருஷ்ணா மற்றும் பிரகாஷ் ராஜ் ஆகியோர் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர்.

படத்தின் டீசர் வெளியாகியுள்ள நிலையில், வழக்கமான ஆக்‌ஷன், காதல், கமர்ஷியல் அம்சங்களை முன்னிலைப்படுத்தாமல், தந்தை – மகன் உறவின் உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான பக்கத்தை மட்டும் ரசிகர்களிடம் கொண்டு சென்றிருப்பது கவனம் பெற்றுள்ளது.
