மதுரையைச் சேர்ந்த ஈசா, சினிமாவுக்கு நேரடியாக வந்தவர் அல்ல. விளையாட்டு மைதானங்களில் வெற்றிக் கொடிகளை நாட்டியவர். மாநில அளவிலான உயரம் தாண்டுதல் போட்டிகளில் இருமுறை சாம்பியன் பட்டம் வென்ற அவர், கல்லூரி காலத்தில் உயரம் தாண்டுதல் மற்றும் மும்முறை தாண்டுதல் போட்டிகளில் பல தங்கப் பதக்கங்களை குவித்துள்ளார். இந்திய பல்கலைக்கழக அளவிலான போட்டிகளிலும் தொடர்ந்து தனது திறமையை நிரூபித்துள்ளார்.

Hailing from Madurai, Eesa did not take the conventional route into cinema. Before stepping into films, he made a name for himself in the world of athletics. A two-time Tamil Nadu State High Jump Champion, he also secured several inter-collegiate gold medals in High Jump and Triple Jump during his college years. His consistent performances even earned him places in the finals of national-level university competitions.
The discipline, dedication, and perseverance he developed as an athlete became the foundation for his journey into the film industry. Before making his acting debut, Eesa worked as an assistant director on Uyir Tamilukku, starring Ameer and directed by Adam Bawa.
