தயாரிப்பாளர் கௌரவ் வர்மா தொடங்கியுள்ள புதிய தயாரிப்பு நிறுவனமான அவானிகா ஃபிலிம்ஸ், ஃபர்ஸ் ஃபிலிம்ஸுடன் இணைந்து தயாரிக்கும் முதல் படமாக ‘பிரேம் கீட்டாணு’ உருவாகிறது. வரும் அக்டோபர் 2, 2026 அன்று உலகம் முழுவதும் இப்படம் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது.

இப்படத்தில் வீர் பஹாரியா, ஆஃபியா சையத், அபர்ஷக்தி குரானா, ராகேஷ் பேடி மற்றும் நிகில் விஜய் உள்ளிட்டோர் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர். ‘சிர்ஃப் ஏக் பந்தா காஃபி ஹை’, ‘ஆஸ்பிரண்ட்ஸ்’ உள்ளிட்ட படைப்புகள் மூலம் கவனம் பெற்ற இயக்குநர் அபூர்வ் சிங் கார்கி இப்படத்தை இயக்கியுள்ளார்.

“கல்லூரியில் மதிப்பெண்கள் இல்லை… நம்பிக்கை இல்லை… காதலும் இல்லை… ஆனால் நண்பர்கள் மட்டும் ஏராளம்; அதனுடன் இதய முறிவுகளும் ஏராளம்!” என்ற சுவாரஸ்யமான பின்னணியில் இப்படத்தின் கதை பயணிக்கிறது.

Produced by Gaurav Verma’s newly launched production house Avanika Films in association with Furs Films, ‘Prem Geetaanu’ marks the studio’s first production. The film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 2, 2026.

The film features Veer Pahariya, Afia Sayyed, Aparshakti Khurana, Rakesh Bedi and Nikhil Vijay in key roles. It is directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, known for acclaimed projects such as Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai and Aspirants.

At the heart of ‘Prem Geetaanu’ is a generation that may not have found success in academics, confidence or even love during college, but found something equally valuable — friends. And along the way, plenty of heartbreaks.

The film explores the aspirations, relationships, romantic complications and emotional struggles faced by young people today. Rather than presenting these experiences in an overly dramatic manner, the story is said to approach them with natural humour and a grounded narrative.

With ‘Prem Geetaanu’, Avanika Films begins its journey with a focus on stories that combine emotional authenticity with strong theatrical appeal. The production house, founded by Gaurav Verma, aims to create films that strike a balance between fresh storytelling, innovation and entertainment.

Before launching Avanika Films, Gaurav Verma worked as an independent producer for Red Chillies Entertainment. His production credits include films such as Darlings, Bhakshak, Jawan and Badla, which received appreciation from audiences and critics while also achieving commercial success.

Although the story is rooted in the experiences of today’s youth, ‘Prem Geetaanu’ also aims to take older audiences on a nostalgic journey back to their own college days. The film seeks to connect the experiences of one generation with the dreams, expectations and challenges of another.
