பிரபுவை இதுவரை பார்க்காத புதிய கோணத்தில் காட்டும் ஃபிராங்க்ளின் ஜேக்கப்பின் திரில்லர் காமெடி!

சென்னை: ‘ரைட்டர்’ படத்தின் மூலம் கவனம் பெற்ற இயக்குநர் ஃபிராங்க்ளின் ஜேக்கப், ‘DC’ படத்தின் எழுத்தாளராகவும் அறியப்பட்ட நிலையில், தனது அடுத்த படத்தை முற்றிலும் வித்தியாசமான களத்தில் இயக்கவுள்ளார். Romeo Pictures சார்பில் ராகுல் மற்றும் Aviate Pictures சார்பில் கோகுல் ஸ்ரீனிவாசன் இணைந்து தயாரிக்கும் இப்படத்தின் பூஜை விழா சென்னையில் கோலாகலமாக நடைபெற்றது.

இப்படத்தில் இளைய திலகம் பிரபு, ‘பிக்பாஸ் 7’ நிகழ்ச்சி மூலம் பிரபலமான விஜய் வர்மா ஆகியோர் முதன்மை கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடிக்கின்றனர். டார்க் ஹியூமர் பின்னணியில் உருவாகும் இப்படம், திரில்லர் மற்றும் காமெடியை இணைத்த வித்தியாசமான திரைப்படமாக உருவாகிறது.

குறிப்பாக, தமிழ் சினிமாவில் தனக்கென தனி நடிப்பு பாணியை உருவாக்கியுள்ள பிரபுவை இதுவரை ரசிகர்கள் பார்த்திராத ஒரு புதிய பரிமாணத்தில் காட்சிப்படுத்த இயக்குநர் ஃபிராங்க்ளின் ஜேக்கப் திட்டமிட்டுள்ளதாக படக்குழு தெரிவித்துள்ளது. இந்தக் கதையை கேட்டவுடன் பிரபு ஆர்வத்துடன் நடிக்க சம்மதித்திருப்பது படத்தின் மீதான எதிர்பார்ப்பை அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

படத்தின் மற்றொரு முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில் விஜய் வர்மா நடிக்கிறார். அவருக்கு ஜோடியாக பிரபல நடிகை ஒருவர் நடிக்கவுள்ளார். கதையின் முக்கியத்துவம் கருதி நடிகர்கள் மற்றும் கதாபாத்திரங்கள் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதாக படக்குழு தெரிவித்துள்ளது. தயாரிப்பாளர் ராகுலும் இப்படத்தில் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடிக்கிறார்.

மேலும் முத்துக்குமார், ரமேஷ் திலக், திலீப் சுப்பராயன், தீனா, அருண் மாதேஸ்வரன், கவிதா பாரதி, அவினாஷ் ரகுதேவன் உள்ளிட்ட பலர் முக்கிய வேடங்களில் இணைந்துள்ளனர்.

இப்படத்திற்கு யுவன் சங்கர் ராஜா இசையமைக்கிறார். பிரதீப் காளிராஜா ஒளிப்பதிவையும், பிரசன்னா G.K படத்தொகுப்பையும் கவனிக்கின்றனர். P.C. ஸ்டன்ட்ஸ் சண்டைக் காட்சிகளை வடிவமைக்கிறார். பாடல்களுக்கு யுகபாரதி வரிகள் எழுதுகிறார். நவ்ஷாத் அகமது ஆடை வடிவமைப்பையும், சக்தி வெங்கட்ராஜ் M கலை இயக்கத்தையும் மேற்கொள்கின்றனர். வான்கோ போஸ்டர் வடிவமைப்பை கவனிக்கிறார்.

மேலும், ஃபிராங்க்ளின் ஜேக்கப் எழுத்தாளராக பணியாற்றிய ‘DC’ திரைப்படத்தில் இடம்பெற்ற முக்கிய தொழில்நுட்பக் கலைஞர்கள் பலரும் இப்படத்திலும் இணைந்து பணியாற்றவுள்ளனர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

படத்தின் தொடக்க விழாவில் இயக்குநர்கள் பா. ரஞ்சித், அருண் மாதேஸ்வரன் உள்ளிட்ட திரையுலகைச் சேர்ந்த பலரும் கலந்துகொண்டு படக்குழுவினருக்கு வாழ்த்துகளைத் தெரிவித்தனர்.

நிகழ்ச்சியில் பேசிய இயக்குநர் பா. ரஞ்சித், ஃபிராங்க்ளின் ஜேக்கப்புடன் இணைந்து பணியாற்றிய அனுபவத்தைப் பகிர்ந்துகொண்டதுடன், இப்படம் வழக்கமான திரைப்படமாக இல்லாமல் வித்தியாசமான அணுகுமுறையுடன் உருவாகும் என நம்பிக்கை தெரிவித்தார். புதிய தலைமுறை படைப்பாளிகள் புதிய களங்களையும் தனித்துவமான கதைகளையும் உருவாக்க வேண்டியதன் அவசியத்தையும் அவர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

ஃபிராங்க்ளினின் ‘ரைட்டர்’ திரைப்படம் தனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்தமான படைப்பு என்றும், தமிழ் சினிமாவில் அவருக்கென ஒரு தவிர்க்க முடியாத இடம் உருவாகும் என்றும் பா. ரஞ்சித் தெரிவித்தார். மேலும் யுவன் சங்கர் ராஜாவின் இசையும், இளைய திலகம் பிரபுவின் பங்களிப்பும் இப்படத்திற்கு மிகப்பெரிய பலமாக அமையும் என அவர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

இயக்குநர் அருண் மாதேஸ்வரனும் ஃபிராங்க்ளின் ஜேக்கப்பின் நீண்டகால நட்பையும், அவருடைய தனித்துவமான படைப்பாற்றலையும் குறிப்பிட்டு படக்குழுவினருக்கு வாழ்த்துகளைத் தெரிவித்தார். பிரபு மற்றும் ஃபிராங்க்ளின் கூட்டணி எதிர்பாராததொரு சுவாரஸ்யமான தேர்வு என்றும், படத்தின் கதை மிகவும் சிறப்பாக இருப்பதாகவும் அவர் கூறினார்.

நடிகர் ரமேஷ் திலக், இளைய திலகம் பிரபுவுடன் இணைந்து பணியாற்ற வேண்டும் என்ற தனது நீண்ட நாள் ஆசை இந்தப் படத்தின் மூலம் நிறைவேறியுள்ளதாக மகிழ்ச்சி தெரிவித்தார்.

படம் குறித்து இயக்குநர் ஃபிராங்க்ளின் ஜேக்கப் பேசுகையில், இந்தக் கதையை தயாரிப்பாளர் ராகுலிடம் கூறியபோது அவருக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்ததாகவும், இருவரும் இணைந்து இப்படத்தை உருவாக்க முடிவு செய்ததாகவும் தெரிவித்தார். குறிப்பாக பிரபுவை இப்படத்தில் நடிக்க வைக்கலாம் என்ற யோசனையை ராகுல்தான் முதலில் தெரிவித்ததாகவும் அவர் கூறினார்.

பிரபுவின் தனித்துவமான நடிப்பை இதுவரை ரசிகர்கள் பார்த்திராத வகையில் பயன்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணத்திலேயே கதையை உருவாக்கியதாகவும், கதையைக் கேட்டபோதே பிரபு அதனை ரசித்து நடிக்க சம்மதித்தது தனக்கு மிகப்பெரிய நம்பிக்கையை அளித்ததாகவும் ஃபிராங்க்ளின் தெரிவித்தார்.

நடிகர் விஜய் வர்மாவும் இப்படத்தின் ஒரு பகுதியாக இருப்பதில் மகிழ்ச்சி தெரிவித்ததுடன், கடந்த சில ஆண்டுகளாக இப்படத்திற்கான பணிகள் நடைபெற்று வந்ததாகவும், அந்தப் பயணத்தில் தானும் ஒரு பகுதியாக இருந்ததாகவும் கூறினார்.

இப்படத்தின் முதற்கட்ட படப்பிடிப்பு இம்மாத இறுதியில் சென்னையில் தொடங்குகிறது. படத்தின் தலைப்பு, நாயகி உள்ளிட்ட இதர முக்கிய அறிவிப்புகள் விரைவில் அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக வெளியாகும் என எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுகிறது.

இளைய திலகம் பிரபுவின் அனுபவமும், ஃபிராங்க்ளின் ஜேக்கப்பின் வித்தியாசமான கதை சொல்லும் பாணியும், யுவன் சங்கர் ராஜாவின் இசையும் ஒன்றிணையும் இப்படம், அறிவிப்பு வெளியாகும் முன்பே ரசிகர்கள் மத்தியில் எதிர்பார்ப்பை உருவாக்கியுள்ளது.

Prabhu Set to Star in Franklin Jacob’s Unique Dark Comedy Thriller

Chennai: Director Franklin Jacob, who earned recognition with Writer and also worked as the writer of DC, is all set to direct his next film in a completely different genre. Produced jointly by Rahul under Romeo Pictures and Gokul Srinivasan under Aviate Pictures, the film’s pooja ceremony was held in Chennai in the presence of several prominent personalities from the Tamil film industry.

The yet-to-be-titled film features veteran actor Prabhu and newcomer Vijay Varma, who shot to fame through Bigg Boss Tamil Season 7, in the lead roles. Set against a dark-humour backdrop, the film is said to blend thriller and comedy elements with a distinctive storyline.

One of the major highlights of the project is the casting of Prabhu. The makers are planning to present the veteran actor in a completely different dimension from what audiences have seen before. Prabhu reportedly showed keen interest in the story and immediately expressed his willingness to be part of the project.

Vijay Varma plays another pivotal character in the film, while a popular actress will be seen opposite him. Rahul, who is also one of the producers, will be appearing in a significant role.

The film also features Muthu Kumar, Ramesh Thilak, Dileep Subbarayan, Dheena, Arun Matheswaran, Kavitha Bharathi and Avinash Raghudevan in important roles.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music, with Pradeep Kaliraja handling cinematography and Prasanna G.K. taking care of the editing. P.C. Stunts is choreographing the action sequences, while Yugabharathi is writing the lyrics. Naushad Ahmed is responsible for costume design, Shakthi Venkatraj M for art direction and Vango for the poster design.

Several key technicians who worked with Franklin Jacob on DC are also expected to be part of this project, adding further anticipation to the film.

Directors Pa. Ranjith and Arun Matheswaran, along with several other members of the film fraternity, attended the pooja ceremony and extended their wishes to the team.

Speaking at the event, director Pa. Ranjith praised Franklin Jacob’s distinctive approach to filmmaking and said that the upcoming film would not be just another conventional project. He stressed the importance of young filmmakers exploring fresh stories and new worlds, adding that Franklin’s approach to this film makes the project particularly significant.

Ranjith also said that he has always admired Franklin’s Writer and expressed confidence that the filmmaker would earn an important and unavoidable place in Tamil cinema. He further highlighted Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music and Prabhu’s presence as major strengths of the film.

Director Arun Matheswaran spoke about his long-standing friendship with Franklin Jacob and praised his unique creative vision. He described the combination of Prabhu and Franklin as an unexpected yet highly interesting choice and revealed that he was already familiar with the film’s story.

Actor Ramesh Thilak expressed his happiness about being part of the project and said that working alongside Prabhu had been a long-standing dream of his. He added that he was delighted that the opportunity had finally come his way through this film.

Director Franklin Jacob revealed that the project took shape after producer Rahul heard his initial idea and expressed interest in developing it together. He also disclosed that it was Rahul who first suggested bringing Prabhu on board.

According to Franklin, the idea was to utilise Prabhu’s distinctive acting style in a way audiences have never seen before. He said that Prabhu listened to the narration with great interest and agreed to do the film, which gave the team immense confidence.

Vijay Varma also expressed his happiness about being part of the project and revealed that work related to the film had been in progress for several years. He said he had been associated with the project during its journey and was delighted to finally see it taking shape.

The first schedule of the film is scheduled to commence in Chennai towards the end of this month. The title of the film, details about the female lead and other important updates are expected to be announced officially soon.

With Prabhu’s experience, Franklin Jacob’s distinctive storytelling, Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music and a promising ensemble cast coming together, the yet-to-be-titled film has already generated considerable curiosity among Tamil cinema audiences.
