“ட்ரெய்லர் பார்த்த பிறகுதான் நம்பிக்கை வந்தது!” – ‘தி டார்க் ஹெவன்’ விழாவில் மனம் திறந்த வேல ராமமூர்த்தி; போராட்டத்தின் வெற்றியை கொண்டாடிய படக்குழு

“ஒரு திரைப்படம் உருவாகுவது வெறும் படப்பிடிப்பு அல்ல; அது ஒரு போராட்டம்” என்பதை மீண்டும் ஒருமுறை உணர்த்திய நிகழ்வாக அமைந்தது ‘தி டார்க் ஹெவன்’ திரைப்படத்தின் ட்ரெய்லர் மற்றும் பாடல்கள் வெளியீட்டு விழா.
கோதை என்டர்டெயின்மெண்ட் மற்றும் எம்.எஸ். ஸ்விஸ் ஃபிலிம் பேக்டரி தயாரிப்பில், இயக்குநர் பாலாஜி இயக்கியுள்ள இந்த மர்ம கிரைம் திரில்லர், நாட்டார் கதைகளில் சொல்லப்படும் அமானுஷ்ய அம்சங்களை நவீன விசாரணை கதையுடன் இணைத்து உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. “ஒரே மாதிரியாக நடைபெறும் ஐந்து கொலைகள்… ஆனால் எந்தத் தடயமும் இல்லை” என்ற சுவாரஸ்யமான கருவை மையமாகக் கொண்ட இப்படம், ஜூலை 17ஆம் தேதி தமிழ், ஆங்கிலம், தெலுங்கு மற்றும் இந்தி மொழிகளில் வெளியாகிறது.
சென்னை கிரீன் பார்க் ஹோட்டலில் நடைபெற்ற விழாவில் படக்குழுவினர் மட்டுமல்லாமல், தயாரிப்பாளர்கள், நடிகர்கள் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பக் கலைஞர்களும் தங்களது அனுபவங்களை பகிர்ந்து கொண்டனர்.
விழாவில் அதிக கவனம் பெற்ற பேச்சு எழுத்தாளரும் நடிகருமான வேல ராமமூர்த்தியுடையதாக இருந்தது. “பாலாஜி என்னிடம் கதை சொன்னபோது அவரது தன்னம்பிக்கையை மட்டுமே நம்பி நடித்தேன். ஆனால் உண்மையைச் சொன்னால், ட்ரெய்லர் பார்க்கும் வரை இந்தப் படத்தின் மீது எனக்கே முழு நம்பிக்கை இல்லை. ட்ரெய்லரை பார்த்த பிறகு இந்தப் படம் தோற்காது என்ற நம்பிக்கை ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. பாலாஜியின் கடின உழைப்புக்காகவே இந்தப் படம் வெற்றி பெற வேண்டும்” என்று வெளிப்படையாகக் கூறிய அவர், இயக்குநரின் விடாமுயற்சியை பாராட்டினார்.
தயாரிப்பாளர் மனோஜ் பேசுகையில், “இன்று தரமான பல படங்கள் திரையரங்குகளில் வெற்றி பெறாமல் போகின்றன. அதே நேரத்தில் தரமற்ற படங்கள் தயாரிப்பாளர்களையும், புதிய இயக்குநர்களையும் பாதிக்கின்றன. நல்ல படங்களை ரசிகர்களிடம் கொண்டு சேர்ப்பதே இன்றைய மிகப்பெரிய சவாலாக உள்ளது. ‘தி டார்க் ஹெவன்’ அந்த நிலையை மாற்றும் படமாக இருக்கும்” என்று ஆதங்கத்துடன் தெரிவித்தார்.
தயாரிப்பாளர் ஷரண், “இந்தப் படத்தில் நடிக்கவே வந்தேன். ஆனால் இயக்குநர் பாலாஜியின் அர்ப்பணிப்பைப் பார்த்த பிறகு தயாரிப்பிலும் இணைந்தேன்” என்றார். தயாரிப்பாளர் கோபாலும், “தமிழ் சினிமாவில் தவிர்க்க முடியாத இயக்குநராக பாலாஜி உருவெடுப்பார்” என்று நம்பிக்கை தெரிவித்தார்.
நடிகை ரித்விகா, படப்பிடிப்பின் போது எதிர்கொண்ட சவால்களை நினைவுகூர்ந்தார். “70 சதவீதம் படமாக்கிய பிறகு மீண்டும் ஆரம்பித்து அதே இடங்களில் படமாக்கி ரிலீஸ் வரை கொண்டு வந்திருப்பது சாதாரண விஷயம் அல்ல. ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் புதிய சிக்கல்கள் வந்தன. மழை வேண்டிய நாளில் வராது; வேண்டாத நாளில் பெய்யும். ஆனால் இயக்குநர் பாலாஜி ஒருபோதும் மனம் தளரவில்லை. தினமும் ஓடிக்கொண்டே இருந்தார். அவரது விடாமுயற்சியே இந்தப் படத்தின் மிகப்பெரிய பலம்” என்றார்.
இயக்குநர் மித்ரன், “சினிமாவுக்கு எவ்வளவு கொடுக்கிறோமோ, அதைவிட அதிகமாக சினிமா திருப்பிக் கொடுக்கும். ட்ரெய்லரிலேயே இந்தப் படக்குழுவின் உழைப்பு தெரிகிறது. இதுபோன்ற திரைப்படங்களுக்கு ஊடகங்கள் முழு ஆதரவு வழங்க வேண்டும்” என்று கூறினார்.
இயக்குநர் பாலாஜி பேசுகையில், “என் மீதும், இந்தப் படத்தின் மீதும் பலருக்கு சந்தேகம் இருந்தது. ஆனால் அந்த சந்தேகங்களையெல்லாம் உடைத்துக் கொண்டு இன்று இந்தப் படத்தை வெளியீட்டுக்குக் கொண்டு வந்துள்ளோம். என்னை நம்பாமல் இருந்தவர்கள்கூட இன்று இந்தப் படத்தைப் பாராட்டுகிறார்கள். இந்த வெற்றிக்குப் பின்னால் தயாரிப்பாளர்கள், நடிகர்கள், தொழில்நுட்பக் கலைஞர்கள் என அனைவரின் அர்ப்பணிப்பும் இருக்கிறது” என்று நெகிழ்ச்சியுடன் தெரிவித்தார்.
நாயகன் சித்து, “இன்றைய காலத்தில் நம்மைப் பற்றி நாமே சொல்லிக்கொள்ள வேண்டிய சூழல் இருக்கிறது. இந்தப் படம் எனக்கு ஒரு பெரிய வாய்ப்பு மட்டுமல்ல, ஒரு பெரிய கற்றலாகவும் அமைந்துள்ளது. ஒவ்வொரு கலைஞரிடமிருந்தும் ஏதாவது ஒன்றைக் கற்றுக்கொண்டேன். ரசிகர்கள் அனைவரும் திரையரங்குகளில் வந்து படத்தை ஆதரிக்க வேண்டும்” என்று வேண்டுகோள் விடுத்தார்.
அறிமுக நாயகனாக சித்து நடித்துள்ள இப்படத்தில் தர்ஷிகா, ரித்விகா, வேல ராமமூர்த்தி, நிழல்கள் ரவி, சாப்ளின் பாலு உள்ளிட்ட பலர் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர். ஒளிப்பதிவை மணிகண்டன் பி.கே., படத்தொகுப்பை ராஜா ஆறுமுகம், இசையை சக்தி பாலாஜி கவனித்துள்ளனர்.

“I Didn’t Believe in the Film Until I Watched the Trailer” – The Dark Heaven Team Celebrates a Journey of Perseverance at Grand Trailer Launch

The trailer and audio launch of The Dark Heaven turned into more than just a promotional event—it became a celebration of determination, resilience, and the relentless effort behind bringing an ambitious film to life.
Produced by Kothai Entertainment and M.S. Swiss Film Factory, The Dark Heaven is a mystery crime thriller inspired by supernatural elements rooted in folklore. The story begins with the investigation of five murders committed in an identical manner without leaving behind a single clue, unfolding into a gripping suspense drama filled with unexpected twists.
The film marks television actor Siddhu‘s debut as a lead hero alongside Darshika, Rithvika, Vela Ramamoorthy, Nizhalgal Ravi, Chaplin Balu, and others. Directed by Balaji, the film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on July 17 in Tamil, English, Telugu, and Hindi under the tagline “A Siddhu Investigation.”
Held at Green Park Hotel, Chennai, the trailer and audio launch witnessed heartfelt speeches from the cast, crew, producers, and industry guests, many of whom highlighted the immense struggles behind completing the film.
One of the most memorable moments came from veteran actor and writer Vela Ramamoorthy, who candidly admitted that while he trusted director Balaji’s confidence enough to accept the project, he wasn’t fully convinced about the film until he finally watched the trailer.
“To be honest, I didn’t have complete faith in the film until I saw the trailer. After watching it, I can confidently say this film will not fail. Balaji’s hard work alone deserves success.”
Producer Manoj expressed concern over the current state of the film industry, pointing out that many quality films fail to find theatrical success while poorly made films continue to flood the market.
“When good films don’t succeed, it’s not just the producers who suffer. Talented filmmakers lose opportunities too. The Dark Heaven is a quality crime thriller that deserves audience support.”
Producer Sharan revealed that he initially joined the project only as an actor but later decided to become a producer after witnessing Balaji’s dedication firsthand.
Producer Gopal praised the filmmaker, saying Balaji is destined to become one of Tamil cinema’s most promising directors.
Actress Rithvika recalled the countless challenges faced during production.
“Nearly 70 percent of the film had already been shot before the team decided to start over and recreate everything from scratch in the same locations. Every day brought a new challenge. Yet Balaji never stopped running from one task to another. His perseverance is the biggest strength of this film.”
Director Mithran applauded the team’s commitment, stating that cinema always rewards those who dedicate themselves wholeheartedly.
“The hard work behind this film is clearly visible in the trailer. Films like this deserve the wholehearted support of the media.”
Director Balaji emotionally reflected on the difficult journey of completing the project.
“Many people doubted both me and this film. But despite every challenge, we completed it. The unwavering support of my producers, actors, technicians, and well-wishers made this possible. I am confident about what we have created.”
Lead actor Siddhu described the film as a life-changing opportunity.
