பிரிந்திருந்தாலும் பாசம் குறையவில்லை… மகனுக்காக ஏங்கும் தந்தையின் மனதைச் சொல்லும் ஜீவாவின் ‘தகப்பன்’!

நடிகர் ஜீவா நடிப்பில் உருவாகி வரும் ‘தகப்பன்’ திரைப்படத்தின் முதல் பாடலான ‘தங்கப்புள்ள’ வெளியாகியுள்ளது. இசையமைப்பாளர் மற்றும் நடிகர் ஜி.வி. பிரகாஷ் குமார் வெளியிட்டுள்ள இந்தப் பாடல், தந்தை – மகன் உறவில் இருக்கும் சொல்லப்படாத அன்பையும், பிரிவால் ஏற்படும் வலியையும் மையமாகக் கொண்டு உருவாகியுள்ளது.

ஒரு தந்தை தனது மகனுடன் வாழ முடியாத சூழல். இருந்தாலும் மகனின் வாழ்க்கையில் நடக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு மகிழ்ச்சியான தருணத்தையும் தொலைவில் இருந்தபடியே பார்த்து ரசிக்கிறார். தன்னுடைய இருப்பை மகனுக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்த முடியாவிட்டாலும், அவன் சந்தோஷமாக இருப்பதைப் பார்த்து மனதுக்குள் மகிழ்கிறார். இப்படிப்பட்ட ஒரு தந்தையின் உணர்வுகளைத்தான் ‘தங்கப்புள்ள’ பாடல் அழுத்தமாகப் பதிவு செய்துள்ளது.

தமிழ் சினிமாவில் தந்தை – மகன் பாசத்தைப் பேசும் பாடல்கள் ஏராளம். ஆனால், மகனுடன் சேர்ந்து வாழ முடியாத தந்தையின் மனநிலையையும், தூரத்தில் இருந்தே மகன் மீது அன்பு செலுத்தும் உணர்வையும் மையமாகக் கொண்டிருப்பது இந்தப் பாடலின் தனித்துவமாக அமைந்துள்ளது.

மார்ஷல் ராபின்சன் இசையமைத்துள்ள இப்பாடலுக்கு பா. விஜய் வரிகள் எழுதியுள்ளார். முருகவேல் தனது குரலில் பாடியிருக்கிறார். மென்மையான இசையும், உணர்வுகளைத் தூண்டும் வரிகளும் பாடலின் காட்சிகளுடன் இணைந்து கேட்பவர்களிடம் ஒரு நெருக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்துகின்றன.

இயக்குநர் ரா. வெங்கட் இயக்கத்தில், லார்க் ஸ்டூடியோஸ் தயாரிப்பில் உருவாகும் இப்படத்தில் ஜீவாவுக்கு ஜோடியாக ரஜிஷா விஜயன் நடித்துள்ளார். ‘தெனாவட்டு’ படத்திற்குப் பிறகு ஜீவா மீண்டும் முழுமையான கிராமத்துப் பின்னணியில் நடிக்கும் படமாக இது உருவாகி வருகிறது.

மதுரை மற்றும் அதன் சுற்றுவட்டாரப் பகுதிகளில் படமாக்கப்பட்டுள்ள இப்படம், குடும்ப உறவுகள், அப்பா – மகன் பாசம் மற்றும் மனிதர்களின் உணர்வுகளைப் பேசும் கதையாக உருவாகியுள்ளது. படத்திற்கு M. சுகுமார் ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்ய, நாகூரான் ராமச்சந்திரன் படத்தொகுப்புப் பணிகளை மேற்கொண்டுள்ளார். K. குமார் தயாரிக்கிறார்.

படத்தின் இசை வெளியீட்டு உரிமையை திங்க் மியூசிக் நிறுவனம் பெற்றுள்ளது. மேலும், தொலைக்காட்சி ஒளிபரப்பு உரிமையை ZEE தமிழ் நிறுவனமும், ஓடிடி உரிமையை ZEE5 நிறுவனமும் கைப்பற்றியுள்ளன.

படம் வெளியாகும் முன்பே அதன் முதல் பாடல் ரசிகர்களின் கவனத்தைப் பெற்றுள்ள நிலையில், தந்தையின் அன்பை வித்தியாசமான கோணத்தில் சொல்லும் ‘தங்கப்புள்ள’ பாடல், ‘தகப்பன்’ படத்தின் மீதான எதிர்பார்ப்பையும் அதிகரித்துள்ளது.

Even in Separation, a Father’s Love Remains! Jiiva’s ‘Thangappulla’ from Thagappan Strikes an Emotional Chord

The first single, ‘Thangappulla’, from actor Jiiva’s upcoming film Thagappan has been released by actor and music composer G. V. Prakash Kumar. Centred on the unspoken love between a father and his son, the song beautifully captures the pain of separation and a father’s longing to be part of his son’s life.

What makes ‘Thangappulla’ special is its unique emotional perspective. The song portrays a father who is unable to live with his son but continues to follow his life from a distance. Although he cannot openly express his affection or reveal his presence, he finds happiness in witnessing the joyful moments in his son’s life. This unspoken bond and the emotions of a father who silently yearns for his child form the heart of the song.

Tamil cinema has featured several memorable songs celebrating the bond between fathers and their children. However, ‘Thangappulla’ takes a different approach by exploring the feelings of a father who lives away from his son and finds comfort in watching him grow and experience happiness from afar.

Composed by Marshall Robinson, the song features lyrics by Pa. Vijay and vocals by Murugavel. The gentle musical arrangement, heartfelt lyrics and expressive vocals come together to bring out the emotions of a father whose love remains hidden behind silence and separation.

Directed by R. Venkat and produced by Lark Studios, Thagappan stars Jiiva in the lead role, with Rajisha Vijayan playing the female lead. The film marks Jiiva’s return to a full-fledged rural backdrop after Thenavattu.

Set against the backdrop of Madurai and its surrounding regions, the film explores the relationship between a father and son, family bonding and the emotional complexities of human relationships. M. Sukumar handles the cinematography, while Nagooran Ramachandran is in charge of editing. The film is produced by K. Kumar.

Think Music has acquired the audio rights of the film. Interestingly, even before the film’s completion, Zee Tamil has secured its satellite television rights, while ZEE5 has acquired its OTT rights.

With its first single already drawing attention, ‘Thangappulla’ has added to the anticipation surrounding Thagappan. The song’s portrayal of a father’s unconditional love, even in the face of separation, is expected to strike an emotional chord with audiences.
