எல்லா வயதினரையும் கவரும் காதல் கதையாக உருவாகியுள்ள ‘ஹைக்கூ’ – இயக்குநர் யுவராஜ் சின்னசாமி நம்பிக்கை!

காதல், உணர்வுகள், எதிர்பாராத திருப்பங்கள் என ரசிகர்களுக்கு புதுவிதமான அனுபவத்தைத் தரும் ‘ஹைக்கூ’ திரைப்படம் அக்டோபர் 23-ம் தேதி உலகம் முழுவதும் வெளியாகிறது.

காதல் கதைகள் எத்தனை முறை சொல்லப்பட்டாலும், அவற்றை அணுகும் விதமும், கதாபாத்திரங்களின் உணர்வுகளும் ரசிகர்களின் மனதில் நீங்காத இடத்தைப் பிடிக்கின்றன. அந்த வகையில், காதலை மையமாகக் கொண்டு உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான கதைக்களத்துடன் உருவாகியுள்ள திரைப்படம் ‘ஹைக்கூ’. இப்படம் வெறும் காதல் கதையாக மட்டுமல்லாமல், எதிர்பாராத நிகழ்வுகளால் ஒருவரின் வாழ்க்கையில் ஏற்படும் மாற்றங்களையும், அதனால் உருவாகும் மனப்போராட்டங்களையும் பேசும் படைப்பாக உருவாகியுள்ளது.

படத்தின் கதைக்களம் மற்றும் கதாபாத்திரங்கள் குறித்து இயக்குநர் யுவராஜ் சின்னசாமி கூறுகையில், “எல்லா வயதினராலும் ரசிக்கக்கூடிய ஒரு காதல் கதையை உருவாக்க வேண்டும் என்பதுதான் ‘ஹைக்கூ’ படத்தைத் தொடங்கியபோது எனது எண்ணமாக இருந்தது. காதல் என்ற உணர்வு வயது வித்தியாசமின்றி அனைவருக்கும் நெருக்கமானது. அந்த உணர்வுகளை ஒவ்வொருவரும் தங்களுடைய வாழ்க்கையுடன் தொடர்புபடுத்திப் பார்க்கும் வகையில் கதையை உருவாக்கியிருக்கிறோம்.

இந்தக் கதையின் மீது நம்பிக்கை வைத்து, அதைத் திரைப்படமாக உருவாக்க ஆதரவளித்த தயாரிப்பாளர்கள் டாக்டர் டி. அருளானந்து மற்றும் மேத்யூ அருளானந்து ஆகியோருக்கு நன்றி.

படத்தில் ஏகன் ஏற்றிருக்கும் கதாபாத்திரம், காதலியின் அன்பைப் பெற முயற்சிக்கும் ஒரு இளைஞன் என்ற அடையாளத்துடன் மட்டும் முடிந்துவிடாது. அவர் எதிர்பாராத சூழலில் எடுக்கும் ஒரு முடிவு, அவரது வாழ்க்கையின் போக்கையே மாற்றுகிறது. அதன்பிறகு அவர் சந்திக்கும் சவால்களும், உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான போராட்டங்களும்தான் கதைக்கு ஆழத்தைத் தருகின்றன. இந்தக் கதாபாத்திரத்தின் உணர்வுகளை ரசிகர்கள் தங்களுடன் இணைத்துப் பார்ப்பார்கள் என்று நம்புகிறேன்.

ஏகன், ஸ்ரீதேவி, ஃபெமினா ஜார்ஜ் ஆகிய மூவருக்குமே பல்வேறு உணர்வுகளை வெளிப்படுத்த வேண்டிய சவாலான கதாபாத்திரங்கள் அமைந்துள்ளன. அவர்கள் கதாபாத்திரங்களின் தன்மையைப் புரிந்துகொண்டு இயல்பாக நடித்திருப்பது படத்திற்குப் பலமாக அமைந்துள்ளது. மனதுக்கு நெருக்கமான உணர்வுகளுடன், ரசிகர்கள் குடும்பத்தோடு ரசிக்கக்கூடிய ஒரு ஃபீல் குட் என்டர்டெயினராக ‘ஹைக்கூ’ இருக்கும்” என்றார்.

விஷன் சினிமா ஹவுஸ் நிறுவனம் சார்பில் டாக்டர் டி. அருளானந்து மற்றும் மேத்யூ அருளானந்து இப்படத்தைத் தயாரித்துள்ளனர். ஏகன், ஸ்ரீதேவி, ஃபெமினா ஜார்ஜ் ஆகியோர் முதன்மைக் கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர். இவர்களுடன் அதிர்ச்சி அருண், சுப்பிரமணியன் சேது, அதியமான், மைம் கோபி, இந்துமதி மணிகண்டன் உள்ளிட்ட பலரும் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரங்களில் நடித்துள்ளனர்.

சித்து குமார் இசையமைத்துள்ள இப்படத்திற்கு பிரியேஷ் குருசாமி ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்துள்ளார். படத்தின் பாடல்கள் ஏற்கெனவே இசை ரசிகர்களிடையே கவனத்தைப் பெற்றுள்ளன.

‘Haiku’ Is a Feel-Good Romantic Entertainer for Audiences of All Ages, Says Director Yuvraj Chinnasamy

Starring Egan, Sridevi and Femina George, the film is set to release worldwide in theatres on October 23.

Love stories have always held a special place in the hearts of audiences, with their emotional depth and relatable characters transcending language and regional boundaries. Joining this tradition is Haiku, an upcoming Tamil film that explores love, human emotions and the unexpected turns that can change the course of a person’s life.

With its vibrant visuals and heartwarming promotional songs, the film has already begun attracting attention ahead of its release. Director Yuvraj Chinnasamy has now shared his thoughts on the film, expressing confidence that Haiku will connect with audiences across generations.

Speaking about the film, the director said, “When I set out to make Haiku, my intention was to tell a love story that could appeal to people of all age groups. Love is an emotion that everyone can relate to, regardless of age. We have crafted the story in a way that allows audiences to connect its emotions with their own lives.

“I am happy that our producers, Dr. T. Arulanandhu and Mathew Arulanandhu, understood the story and placed their trust in it.

“Egan’s character is not limited to that of a young man trying to win a woman’s love. An unexpected action changes the course of his life, and the emotional struggles he faces thereafter add another dimension to his character. I believe audiences will be able to relate to him and his journey.

“Egan, Sridevi and Femina George have challenging roles that require them to portray a wide range of emotions. They have understood the essence of their respective characters and brought those emotions to life with sincerity. I am confident that Haiku will be a heartwarming feel-good entertainer that audiences can enjoy,” the director said.

The film is produced by Dr. T. Arulanandhu and Mathew Arulanandhu under the banner of Vision Cinema House. Egan, Sridevi and Femina George play the lead roles, while Adhirchi Arun, Subramanian Sethu, Adhiyaman, Mime Gopi and Indhumathi Manikandan appear in supporting roles.

The music for Haiku has been composed by Siddhu Kumar, whose songs have already attracted attention among music lovers. Priyesh Gurusamy has handled the cinematography.

Positioned as an emotionally engaging romantic entertainer, Haiku is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 23. Sakthivelan B of Sakthi Film Factory will distribute the film across Tamil Nadu.
