‘Hi’ Set to Release Worldwide in Theatres on August 28, 2026

The trailer of Hi, featuring leading Tamil actress Nayanthara and popular young actor Kavin in their first-ever on-screen collaboration, has been released and is receiving a positive response from audiences. Promising a vibrant blend of romance, comedy, family emotions and drama, the trailer has created considerable anticipation for the film.

Directed by debutant Vishnu Edavan, Hi appears to be a refreshing romantic comedy drama that combines love and humour with engaging emotional moments. While romance forms the core of the story, the trailer suggests that the film also explores relationships, family dynamics and the unexpected situations that arise along the way.

Kavin plays a young man who is struggling with the pressures and expectations surrounding marriage. His character’s journey takes an interesting turn when he crosses paths with Nayanthara’s character.
