JioHotstar Unveils Intriguing Teaser of ‘Love Always’, a Unique Blend of Love, Family and Comedy

The first-ever Korean webtoon adaptation in Tamil Originals brings a refreshing story of relationships, second chances and a quirky age-reversal twist

Chennai, October 5, 2026: JioHotstar has unveiled the teaser of its upcoming Tamil Hotstar Specials series ‘Love Always’, a refreshing family entertainer that blends romance, humour and relationships with an unusual twist that turns age upside down.

Produced by Cross Pictures and Guru Films, the series is an adaptation of the popular Korean webtoon ‘Here We Go Again’. Marking the first Korean webtoon adaptation under Tamil Originals, Love Always brings the essence of the original Korean storytelling together with the emotions, humour and cultural sensibilities of a Tamil family setting.

The story revolves around a couple standing on the verge of divorce when an unexpected incident gives them a chance to look at their lives, marriage and family from an entirely different perspective. What follows is an engaging journey filled with love, longing, second chances and the complexities of relationships across generations.

At its heart, Love Always is a warm and entertaining family drama that explores everyday relationships through humour while presenting a unique ‘age-reversal’ concept. The series combines romance, family emotions and comedy to create a story that is both entertaining and emotionally relatable.

The series features a talented ensemble cast including Gouri G. Kishan, Ramzan Mohammed, Jaiprakash, Jayasudha and Maya Krishnan. Bringing together the energy of the younger generation with the warmth of family bonds, the actors add different layers of emotion and humour to the story.

Speaking about being part of Love Always, Gouri G. Kishan said, “Love Always has a very refreshing premise, while the humour, emotions and relationships feel extremely relatable. What drew me to the project was the opportunity to look at familiar emotions from a completely new perspective. The age-reversal backdrop brings plenty of fun into the story, but at its heart, it is about love, family, longing and the second chances that life gives us. I am looking forward to seeing audiences enjoy this emotional journey and discover the different sides of these characters.”

Ramzan Mohammed said, “At some point, all of us have wondered what it would be like to go back to our younger days and do things differently. Love Always explores that feeling, and that is what made me connect deeply with Kannan’s character. Being part of a story that brings a Korean concept into the world of Tamil storytelling has been a wonderful experience. I am excited to see how audiences connect with and enjoy the story.”

Veteran actor Jaiprakash said, “For me, Love Always is fundamentally a story about human relationships and the bonds that hold a family together. The age-reversal concept gives the series a fresh and interesting format, but the emotions at its core are universal. There is humour, warmth, conflict and deep affection throughout the story. I believe audiences will see reflections of their own families and relationships in these characters while also enjoying the unexpected situations they find themselves in.”

Sharing her experience of working on the series, Jayasudha said, “Love Always has a beautiful and heartfelt story. While the premise is unusual and entertaining, it is deeply rooted in family, love, growing older and the emotions that arise when we look back at the choices we have made. I particularly enjoyed how the series brings different generations together and allows us to view relationships from their perspectives. Being part of this unique story has been a wonderful experience, especially since this is my first web series. I hope audiences enjoy the humour and emotions as much as we did while making it.”

Featuring eight episodes of approximately 30 minutes each, Love Always promises a breezy and entertaining viewing experience packed with romance, comedy, family emotions and unexpected twists.

Aiming to reach audiences across India, the series will be available in seven languages — Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi and Bengali.

With its unusual age-reversal premise, Korean webtoon roots and distinctly Indian emotional connect, ‘Love Always’ brings together Korean storytelling and Tamil sensibilities in a fresh format filled with love, family and humour.

‘Love Always’ will stream on JioHotstar.
