தமிழ் திரையுலகில் கிட்டத்தட்ட மூன்று தசாப்தங்களாக முன்னணி நடிகையாக தனக்கென தனி இடத்தைத் தக்கவைத்திருக்கும் நடிகை சிம்ரன், தற்போது சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினிகாந்த் நடிக்கும் ‘தர்மன்’ திரைப்படத்தில் முக்கியமான கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடித்து வருகிறார். இந்த வாய்ப்பை தனது திரைப்பயணத்தின் மிக முக்கியமான அத்தியாயமாகக் கருதுவதாக அவர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

இயக்குநர் அஸ்வத் மாரிமுத்து இயக்கத்தில், ராஜ் கமல் பிலிம்ஸ் இன்டர்நேஷனல் தயாரிப்பில் உருவாகி வரும் ‘தர்மன்’ திரைப்படம் குறித்த எதிர்பார்ப்பு நாளுக்கு நாள் அதிகரித்து வருகிறது. இந்த நிலையில், படத்தில் சிம்ரன் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில் இணைந்திருப்பது ரசிகர்களிடையே கூடுதல் உற்சாகத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.

இதுகுறித்து சிம்ரன் கூறியதாவது:
