சென்னையில் தொடங்குகிறது ‘தமிழ் ஐடல்’ வேட்டை: ஆகஸ்ட் 23 முதல் களத்தில் இறங்கும் இசைத் திறமைகள்!

சென்னைவாசிகளே… உங்கள் வீட்டில், நண்பர்கள் வட்டத்தில் அல்லது உங்களைச் சுற்றி பாடும் திறமை கொண்ட ஒருவர் இருந்தால், அவருக்கான அடுத்த பெரிய வாய்ப்பு இதோ வந்துவிட்டது!

தமிழகத்தின் அடுத்த இசை நட்சத்திரத்தைத் தேடும் ‘தமிழ் ஐடல்’ நிகழ்ச்சியின் முதல் நேரடி ஆடிஷன் வரும் ஆகஸ்ட் 23-ம் தேதி சென்னையில் தொடங்குகிறது. இசைத்துறையில் தனக்கென தனி இடத்தைப் பிடித்துள்ள ஏ.ஆர். ரஹ்மான் சூப்பர் ஜட்ஜாக தலைமை வகிக்கும் இந்தப் போட்டி, தமிழகத்தின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளில் மறைந்திருக்கும் இசைத் திறமைகளை வெளிச்சத்துக்குக் கொண்டு வர இருக்கிறது.

14 முதல் 30 வயது வரை உள்ளவர்கள் இந்த ஆடிஷனில் பங்கேற்கலாம். சென்னை மேல் அயனம்பாக்கத்தில் உள்ள வேலம்மாள் வித்யாலயா Annexure வளாகத்தில் முதல் கட்டத் தேர்வு நடைபெறுகிறது.

இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியின் சிறப்புகளில் ஒன்றாக, தொகுப்பாளர்களாக விக்கல்ஸ் விக்ரம் மற்றும் பூஜா வெங்கட் இணைந்துள்ளனர். போட்டியாளர்களின் பாடலை மட்டும் கேட்பதோடு நின்றுவிடாமல், அவர்களின் பின்னணி, இசைப் பயணம், கனவு என அவர்களின் கதைகளையும் இந்தப் பயணத்தில் அறிந்துகொள்ள உள்ளனர்.

இதுகுறித்து விக்கல்ஸ் விக்ரம் கூறும்போது, தமிழகத்தில் ஏராளமான திறமையான பாடகர்கள் இருப்பதாகவும், அவர்களின் திறமையை பெரிய மேடைக்குக் கொண்டு செல்லும் வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்திருப்பது மகிழ்ச்சி அளிப்பதாகவும் தெரிவித்தார். குறிப்பாக, ஏ.ஆர். ரஹ்மான் தலைமையில் இந்தப் பயணம் நடைபெறுவது போட்டியாளர்களுக்கு மிகப்பெரிய வாய்ப்பாக அமையும் என்றும் அவர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.

‘Tamil Idol’ Hunt Begins in Chennai: Auditions Kick Off on August 23

Chennai is getting ready to witness the search for Tamil Nadu’s next singing sensation as the first-ever ‘Tamil Idol’ auditions begin on August 23.

Presented by Sony VIZHA and Sony LIV for Tamil audiences, the music reality show is set to bring together talented singers from across Tamil Nadu on one platform. Music maestro A.R. Rahman will lead the show as the Super Judge.

The first phase of the auditions will be held at the Velammal Vidyalaya Annexure campus in Mel Ayanambakkam, Chennai. Aspiring singers between 14 and 30 years of age can take part and showcase their vocal talent.

Adding to the excitement, Vikkals Vikram and Pooja Venkat have been announced as the hosts of the first season. The duo will travel across Tamil Nadu as part of the audition journey, meeting aspiring contestants, hearing their stories and discovering voices with the potential to make a mark in the music industry.

Speaking about the show, Vikkals Vikram said that Tamil Nadu has always been home to extraordinary musical talent and that being part of a platform that can take such talent to a larger audience is both an honour and a privilege. He also highlighted the opportunity for contestants to begin their journey under the guidance of A.R. Rahman.

Pooja Venkat said that discovering the uniqueness in a person’s voice for the first time is a special experience. According to her, ‘Tamil Idol’ aims to bring together music, emotions and the personal stories of people from different parts of Tamil Nadu. She added that she hopes to create a positive and encouraging environment where every contestant can perform with confidence.

The Chennai auditions mark only the beginning of the larger ‘Tamil Idol’ journey. The audition team will subsequently travel to different cities across Tamil Nadu in search of distinctive voices and emerging musical talent.
