விஜய் ஆண்டனி நடிப்பில் உருவாகியுள்ள புதிய திரைப்படம் ‘அப்பா குட்டி’. மு. மாறன் இயக்கியுள்ள இப்படம், ஆக்ஷன் மற்றும் குடும்ப உணர்வுகளை மையமாக வைத்து உருவாகியுள்ளது. இப்படம் வரும் அக்டோபர் 16, 2026 அன்று உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது.
தந்தைக்கும் மகளுக்கும் இடையேயான பாசம், அவர்களுக்குள் இருக்கும் ஆழமான உறவு மற்றும் அந்த உறவைச் சுற்றி நிகழும் சம்பவங்கள் என உணர்வுப்பூர்வமான கதைக்களத்துடன் இப்படம் உருவாகியுள்ளது. அதே நேரத்தில் விஜய் ஆண்டனியின் வழக்கமான ஆக்ஷன் பாணியையும் இணைத்து, அனைத்து தரப்பு ரசிகர்களுக்கும் ஏற்ற வகையில் படத்தை உருவாக்கியிருக்கிறது படக்குழு.

Vijay Antony’s upcoming film ‘Appa Kutty’ is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on October 16, 2026. Directed by Mu. Maran, the film combines family emotions, action and an engaging commercial narrative.
At the heart of the film is the special bond between a father and his daughter. The story explores their affection and relationship while also bringing in action-packed moments and dramatic situations. The makers have crafted the film with a balance of emotional family sequences and Vijay Antony’s action-oriented screen presence.
The film’s second-look poster, which featured Vijay Antony alongside a young girl, had already caught the attention of audiences. The poster offered a glimpse into the father-daughter relationship that forms the emotional backbone of the story and created curiosity about the film’s narrative.
With the shooting and post-production work completed, the team is now gearing up for the film’s theatrical release. Promotional activities are also set to begin ahead of its worldwide release on October 16.
Preethi Asrani, Baby Lithanya, Bagavathi Perumal (Baks), Haripriya Isai, Aruvi Madhan, Chitra Lakshmanan, Sreeja Ravi, Vettai Muthukumar, Jensan Diwakar, Muruganantham, Munnar Ramesh, Lissy Antony, Kumar Natarajan, Vijayan, Praveena, Haritha and Haripriya are part of the film’s ensemble cast.
Mu. Maran has written and directed the film. Vijay Antony is the music director and editor. Rajeev Rajendran is the Director of Photography, while A. Raja is the Art Director. G. Anusha Meenakshi has handled costume design and Rajasekar is the stunt choreographer.
