Exploring these unsettling questions, Sony LIV’s new Malayalam Original series ‘EYES’ delves into the darker side of love, obsession and control. The series premieres exclusively on Sony LIV on October 9.

At the heart of ‘EYES’ is Tina Sebastian, a police officer played by acclaimed actress Kani Kusruti. Tina begins investigating a series of cases involving love, obsessive behaviour and incidents where personal boundaries have been crossed.

As the investigation progresses, the line between love and danger begins to blur. Fear, insecurity and unexpected twists emerge at every turn. However, the closer Tina gets to the truth, the more shocking the reality she uncovers becomes.

The series is directed by Manu Ashokan, who describes ‘EYES’ as a story he wanted to tell with honesty and emotional depth. According to the director, stalking is not merely a crime; it can have a deep impact on an individual’s sense of safety and mental well-being. The team has attempted to explore this reality through an engaging thriller narrative.

Manu Ashokan has also expressed his gratitude to the cast and technical crew who helped bring the story to life, adding that he hopes Sony LIV audiences will connect with the series and begin looking at the issue from a different perspective.

Written by Bobby–Sanjay, with the story created by Anjana Nair, ‘EYES’ marks the reunion of the Manu Ashokan–Bobby–Sanjay combination after the acclaimed films Uyare and Kaanekkaane.
