கிராமிய மண்வாசனையை திரையில் கொண்டுவரும் ‘பூ காய் கனி’… சொக்காயி அம்மன் கோவிலில் பூஜையுடன் கோலாகலமாக படப்பிடிப்பு தொடக்கம்!

தமிழ் சினிமாவில் கிராமிய வாழ்வியலையும், மண்ணின் உணர்வுகளையும் மையமாகக் கொண்டு உருவாகும் புதிய திரைப்படங்களில் ஒன்றாக உருவாகி வருகிறது ‘பூ காய் கனி’. இயக்குநர் வெற்றி வீரன் மகாலிங்கம் இயக்கத்தில், பழையனூர் சந்தனம் படகம்பெனி சார்பில் ராஜேஸ்வரி வெற்றிவீரன் தயாரிக்கும் இந்த திரைப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு, விருதுநகர் மாவட்டம் நரிக்குடி ஒன்றியத்தில் உள்ள இலுப்பைகுளம் சொக்காயி அம்மன் கோவிலில் சிறப்பு பூஜையுடன் இனிதே தொடங்கியது.

‘Poo Kaai Kani’ Goes on Floors with a Grand Pooja Ceremony at Sokkayi Amman Temple

A new rural-based Tamil film, ‘Poo Kaai Kani’, has officially commenced production with a traditional pooja ceremony held at the Sokkayi Amman Temple in Iluppaikulam village, located in the Narikudi Union of Virudhunagar district.

The film is directed by Vetri Veeran Mahalingam and produced by Rajeswari Vetriveeran under the banner Palayanur Sandhanam Film Company. The inaugural ceremony witnessed the presence of the cast, crew, well-wishers, and local residents, who gathered to seek the blessings of the deity before the start of filming.

Actor Mithun Chakravarthi plays the lead role in the film, while Manasvi, who gained recognition through Kottachi, stars as the female lead. The fresh on-screen pairing is expected to add a new dimension to the film.

The project also features several prominent actors and experienced technicians, promising a strong blend of talent both in front of and behind the camera. Set against a rural backdrop, Poo Kaai Kani is expected to portray the essence of village life, family relationships, and emotional storytelling rooted in Tamil culture.
