The success of ‘Baththa’ has brought immense happiness to the entire team, with the film receiving appreciation from audiences and the media. Director Balaji Tharaneetharan has now expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the film’s journey.
The director acknowledged the tremendous support extended by the film’s producers and highlighted director Atlee’s positivity and confidence as one of the key factors that helped take Baththa forward.
Speaking about Vijay Sethupathi, Balaji Tharaneetharan described him as a “director’s delight” and appreciated the actor for ensuring that his vision was translated perfectly on screen. He also revealed that Vijay Sethupathi was instrumental in introducing him to Atlee.
The director also praised Jose Lizjomol for strengthening the emotional and family-oriented portions of the film. He had special words for child artiste Sai, saying that working with the child taught him an important lesson — children should simply be allowed to be themselves. Sai’s natural performance, he added, was truly remarkable.
