திரைப்படத்தின் தொடக்க விழா திரையுலகின் பல முக்கிய பிரமுகர்கள் முன்னிலையில் சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்றது. இயக்குநர் விஜய் முதல் காட்சிக்கான கிளாப்பை அடித்து படப்பிடிப்பை துவக்கி வைத்தார். தொடர்ந்து இயக்குநர் பாலா கேமராவை இயக்கி படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு ஆரம்பத்தை குறித்தார். நடிகர் ஆர்யாவும் சிறப்பு விருந்தினராக பங்கேற்று படக்குழுவினருக்கு தனது வாழ்த்துகளைத் தெரிவித்தார்.

“Good News” Begins Its Journey with a Grand Pooja Ceremony – A Heartwarming Family Entertainer in the Making
Family-oriented films have always held a special place in Tamil cinema, and joining that tradition is the upcoming film “Good News.” Produced under the banner of Movietron Production, the movie marks the company’s second venture and was officially launched with a traditional pooja ceremony held in Chennai.
The launch event witnessed the presence of several notable personalities from the Tamil film industry. Acclaimed filmmaker Vijay gave the inaugural clap for the first shot, while renowned director Bala switched on the camera, officially commencing the shoot. Actor Arya attended the event as a special guest and extended his heartfelt wishes to the entire team.
The film is being produced by Saivinoth Jayakumar, with Saiprabu Jayakumar serving as the co-producer. Making his directorial debut with Good News is Nagendramurugan, who previously worked as an assistant director to filmmaker Pandiraj. Known for his experience in crafting emotionally engaging family stories, Nagendramurugan is expected to bring a fresh and relatable storytelling style to the silver screen.
Actor Ashwin plays the lead role in the film, while Kalyani Anil makes her Tamil cinema debut as the female lead. The supporting cast features an impressive lineup including Jayaram, Asha Sharath, Muthukumar, Jaffer, Qureshi, Deepa, Vinodhini, Divya, Manimegalai, and several other prominent performers.
