‘ஒன்ஸ்மோர்’ திரைப்படம் ஆகஸ்ட் 28-ல் ரிலீஸ் – காதல், கல்லூரி நினைவுகள் மற்றும் இசையை மையமாகக் கொண்ட புதிய அனுபவம்

சென்னை: மில்லியன் டாலர் ஸ்டுடியோஸ் சார்பில் யுவராஜ் கணேசன் தயாரிப்பில், அறிமுக இயக்குநர் விக்னேஷ் ஸ்ரீகாந்த் இயக்கியுள்ள திரைப்படம் ‘ஒன்ஸ்மோர்’. அர்ஜுன் தாஸ், அதிதி ஷங்கர் இணைந்து நடித்துள்ள இப்படம் காதல், இளமை, கல்லூரி வாழ்க்கை, உணர்வுகள் ஆகியவற்றை மையமாகக் கொண்ட மியூசிக்கல் டிராமாவாக உருவாகியுள்ளது.

பிரபல மாடல் சோனா ஒலிக்கல் முக்கிய கதாபாத்திரத்தில் நடித்துள்ள இப்படத்தில், ‘ஹிருதயம்’ உள்ளிட்ட படங்களின் மூலம் ரசிகர்களின் கவனத்தை ஈர்த்த இசையமைப்பாளர் ஹேஷாம் அப்துல் வஹாப் தமிழில் இசையமைப்பாளராக அறிமுகமாகிறார்.

பெரும் எதிர்பார்ப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ள ‘ஒன்ஸ்மோர்’ திரைப்படம் வரும் ஆகஸ்ட் 28-ந் தேதி உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது. இதையொட்டி படத்தின் டிரெய்லர் வெளியீட்டு விழா சென்னையில் படக்குழுவினர் மற்றும் திரையுலகினர் முன்னிலையில் நடைபெற்றது.

விழாவில் பேசிய இயக்குநரும் தயாரிப்பாளருமான இரா சரவணன், “ஆகஸ்ட் 28-ந் தேதி ‘ஒன்ஸ்மோர்’ திரையரங்கிலும், ‘அன்பே டயானா’ ஓ.டி.டி. தளத்திலும் வெளியாகிறது. இந்த நாள் தயாரிப்பாளர் யுவராஜுக்கு முக்கியமான நாள். ‘ஒன்ஸ்மோர்’ படத்தைப் பார்த்தபோது கவிதை போல மிகவும் அழகாக இருந்தது. படத்தின் மீது இருக்கும் அன்பால் எப்படியாவது இதில் என்னுடைய பெயரையும் சேர்த்துவிடுங்கள் என்று அவரிடம் கேட்டேன்.

 

அர்ஜுன் தாஸை வில்லன் கதாபாத்திரங்களில் பார்த்து ரசித்திருக்கிறேன். ஆனால் இந்தப் படத்தில் கதாநாயகனாக அவர் சிறப்பாக நடித்துள்ளார். அதிதி ஷங்கரும் மிகச் சிறப்பான நடிப்பை வழங்கியிருக்கிறார். தயாரிப்பாளர் யுவராஜ் எனக்கு மிக நெருங்கிய நண்பராக மாறிவிட்டார். அவருடைய நட்பு கிடைத்த பிறகு மற்ற நண்பர்கள் எல்லாம் மறந்துவிட்டார்கள் என்று சொல்லும் அளவுக்கு எங்களுக்குள் நெருக்கம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. ‘ஒன்ஸ்மோர்’ படத்தை ரசிகர்கள் திரையரங்கில் பார்த்துவிட்டு ‘ஒன்ஸ்மோர்’ என்று கேட்கும் அளவுக்கு மிகப்பெரிய வெற்றி பெற வேண்டும்” என்றார்.

நடிகை கலா பேசுகையில், “இந்தப் படம் எனது கல்லூரி நாட்களை நினைவுபடுத்தியது. என்னுடைய கல்லூரி நாட்களும் இப்படித்தான் இருந்திருக்கலாமே என்று ஏங்க வைக்கும் அளவுக்கு பல நினைவுகளை ஏற்படுத்தியது. இயக்குநர் விக்னேஷ் ஸ்ரீகாந்த் படத்தை அழகாக உருவாக்கியிருக்கிறார். அர்ஜுன் தாஸ், அதிதி ஷங்கர் இருவரும் சிறப்பாக நடித்துள்ளனர்” என்றார்.

இசையமைப்பாளர் ஹேஷாம் அப்துல் வஹாப் பேசுகையில், “மலையாளத்தில் ‘ஹிருதயம்’ படத்திற்குப் பிறகு தமிழில் நான் மிகவும் ரசித்து பணியாற்றிய படம் ‘ஒன்ஸ்மோர்’. தமிழில் என்னுடைய முதல் படம் என்பதால் ஆல்பம் முழுவதிலும் மிகுந்த உற்சாகத்துடன் பணியாற்றினோம். அனைவரும் எளிதில் தொடர்புபடுத்திக்கொள்ளக்கூடிய அழகான கதையை இயக்குநர் உருவாக்கியுள்ளார். படத்தின் பாடல்களை ரசிகர்கள் ஏற்கனவே கொண்டாடி வருகின்றனர். இந்தப் பாடல்கள் நீண்ட காலத்துக்கும் ரசிக்கப்படும் என்று நம்புகிறேன்” என்றார்.

நடிகை சோனா கூறுகையில், “இந்த நாள் எனக்கு மிகவும் முக்கியமானது. ‘ஒன்ஸ்மோர்’ படத்தில் இந்திரா என்ற முக்கியமான கதாபாத்திரத்தை வழங்கிய இயக்குநர் விக்னேஷ் ஸ்ரீகாந்த் மற்றும் தயாரிப்பாளர் யுவராஜ் கணேசனுக்கு நன்றி. அர்ஜுன் தாஸ் படப்பிடிப்பில் எனக்கு மிகவும் ஆதரவாக இருந்தார். அதிதியும் முதல் நாளிலிருந்தே எனக்கு நல்ல தோழியாக இருந்தார். ஆகஸ்ட் 28-ந் தேதிக்காக நானும் ஆவலுடன் காத்திருக்கிறேன். படம் அனைவருக்கும் பிடிக்கும் என்று நம்புகிறேன்” என்றார்.

தயாரிப்பாளர் யுவராஜ் கணேசன் பேசுகையில், “இந்த மேடைக்காக நீண்ட நாட்களாக காத்திருந்தோம். பல வெளியீட்டு தேதிகள் முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டும் சில காரணங்களால் படம் வெளியாக முடியவில்லை. தற்போது ஆகஸ்ட் 28-ந் தேதி படம் வெளியாவது உறுதியாகியுள்ளது.

இயக்குநர் விக்னேஷ் கதை சொன்ன நாள் முதல் ஒவ்வொரு காட்சியிலும் புதிதாக ஏதாவது செய்ய வேண்டும் என்ற ஆர்வத்துடன் பணியாற்றினார். அவரது திறமைக்கு இப்படம் சிறந்த அடையாளமாக இருக்கும்.

இது ஒரு மியூசிக்கல் படம் என்பதால் இசைக்கு அதிக முக்கியத்துவம் இருந்தது. ‘ஹிருதயம்’ படத்தின் இசையமைப்பாளர் ஹேஷாம் அப்துல் வஹாபை அணுகினோம். நாங்கள் எதிர்பார்த்ததைவிட சிறப்பான இசையை அவர் வழங்கியிருக்கிறார்.

‘மாவீரன்’ படத்தைப் பார்த்த பிறகு அதிதி ஷங்கரை அணுகினோம். எங்களுடன் மிகவும் குறைவான சம்பளத்தில் இணைந்து, முழு ஒத்துழைப்பையும் வழங்கினார். அதேபோல் அர்ஜுன் தாஸ் இல்லாமல் இந்தப் படமே இல்லை. கால்ஷீட் உள்ளிட்ட எதையும் பொருட்படுத்தாமல் நாங்கள் அழைத்தபோதெல்லாம் வந்து முழு அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் நடித்தார். இவர்களின் உழைப்புதான் படத்தின் மிகப்பெரிய பலம்” என்றார்.

இயக்குநர் விக்னேஷ் ஸ்ரீகாந்த் பேசுகையில், “இந்த நாளுக்காக நீண்ட நாட்களாக காத்திருந்தேன். இப்போது அந்த மகிழ்ச்சியான நாள் வந்துவிட்டது. ஆகஸ்ட் 28-ந் தேதி ‘ஒன்ஸ்மோர்’ திரைக்கு வருகிறது.

இந்தப் படத்தை இயக்குநர் மணிரத்னத்துக்கு சமர்ப்பிக்கிறேன். அவரது படங்களைப் பார்த்துதான் நான் இயக்குநராக வேண்டும் என்ற ஆசை ஏற்பட்டது. அவருக்கான என்னுடைய லவ் லெட்டர்தான் இந்தப் படம்.

கதை எழுதத் தொடங்கிய முதல் நாளிலிருந்தே ரகு கதாபாத்திரத்தில் அர்ஜுன் தாஸை மட்டுமே மனதில் வைத்திருந்தேன். அவர் ரகுவாக முழுமையாக வாழ்ந்திருக்கிறார். நான் எதிர்பார்த்ததைவிட அவரது நடிப்பு எடிட்டிங்கில் இன்னும் சிறப்பாகத் தெரிந்தது.

அதிதி ஷங்கரும் பல சிரமங்களுக்கு இடையே எங்களுடன் இணைந்து முழு ஆதரவு கொடுத்து நடித்தார். சோனாவுக்கும் இது அறிமுகப்படம். அவரும் இந்திரா கதாபாத்திரத்தில் சிறப்பாக நடித்துள்ளார்.

படத்தின் இசை மிகவும் முக்கியமானது. ஹேஷாம் அப்துல் வஹாப் இசை படத்தை அடுத்த கட்டத்திற்கு எடுத்துச் சென்றுள்ளது. காட்சிகளையும் இசையையும் தனித்தனியாகப் பிரிக்க முடியாத அளவுக்கு இரண்டும் அழகாக இணைந்துள்ளன. இது என்னுடைய முதல் படம். ரசிகர்கள் அனைவருக்கும் பிடிக்கும் என்று நம்புகிறேன்” என்றார்.

நடிகை அதிதி ஷங்கர் பேசுகையில், “தயாரிப்பாளர் யுவராஜ் கணேசனுக்கும் இயக்குநர் விக்னேஷ் ஸ்ரீகாந்துக்கும் நன்றி. நான் வாழ்க்கையில் மிகவும் கடினமான காலகட்டத்தில் இருந்தபோது இந்தப் படம் கிடைத்தது. படப்பிடிப்புக்கு வந்து அஞ்சலியாக வாழ்ந்த ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் எனக்கு ஒரு மருந்து போல அமைந்தது. மிகப்பெரிய உற்சாகத்தையும் மகிழ்ச்சியையும் இந்தப் படம் கொடுத்தது.

ஹேஷாம் அப்துல் வஹாப் ‘ஹிருதயம்’ படத்தின் மூலம் எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்த இசையமைப்பாளர். இந்தப் படத்தில் எனக்காக அழகான ஒரு பாடலைக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார். அந்தப் பாடல் எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்தது.

அர்ஜுன் தாஸை முதலில் அனிருத் கான்சர்ட்டில் ரசிகையாகப் பார்த்து புகைப்படம் எடுத்துக்கொண்டேன். இன்று அவருடன் இணைந்து நடித்திருப்பது மகிழ்ச்சியாக உள்ளது. இந்தப் படத்தில் அவரை வித்தியாசமான கதாபாத்திரத்தில் பார்க்கலாம். லவர் பாயாகவும் அவர் நிச்சயம் ரசிகர்களைக் கவர்வார். ‘ஒன்ஸ்மோர்’ அனைவருக்கும் பிடிக்கும்” என்றார்.

நடிகர் அர்ஜுன் தாஸ் பேசுகையில், “விக்னேஷ் ஸ்ரீகாந்த் முதலில் என்னிடம் படத்தின் ஒன்லைனை மட்டும் கூறினார். அது எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்திருந்தது. பின்னர் முழு திரைக்கதையையும் தயார் செய்தார்.

பல நிறுவனங்களிடம் இந்தக் கதையை அவர் கூறியபோது, ‘அர்ஜுன் தாஸ் ஹீரோவாக வேண்டாம், வேறு ஹீரோவை வைத்து செய்யலாம்’ என்று சிலர் கூறியிருக்கிறார்கள். ஆனால் விக்னேஷ், ‘அர்ஜுன் தாஸ் மட்டும்தான் ரகுவாக நடிக்க முடியும்’ என்று உறுதியாக நின்றிருக்கிறார். என்னை முழுமையாக நம்பிய அவருக்கு எனது நன்றி.

ரகு கதாபாத்திரத்தை என்னால் செய்ய முடியும் என்று சில நேரங்களில் நானே நினைக்கவில்லை. ஆனால் விக்னேஷ் என் மீது முழு நம்பிக்கை வைத்திருந்தார். இது அவருடைய முதல் படம். ஆகஸ்ட் 28-ந் தேதி வெளியாகும் இந்தப் படம் அவருடைய திறமையை நிச்சயம் வெளிப்படுத்தும்.

ஹேஷாம் அப்துல் வஹாபின் ‘ஹிருதயம்’ இசை எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்திருந்தது. அவரிடம் தொலைபேசியில் பேசி பாராட்டியிருந்தேன். பின்னர் விக்னேஷ் இந்தக் கதையைச் சொன்னபோது, இது மியூசிக்கல் படம் என்பதால் ஹேஷாமை அணுகலாம் என்று கூறினேன். அவர் உடனடியாக ஒப்புக்கொண்டு அற்புதமான இசையை வழங்கியிருக்கிறார்.

சோனா இந்திரா கதாபாத்திரத்தில் மிகச் சிறப்பாக நடித்திருக்கிறார். இந்தப் படம் அவருக்கு நல்ல அடையாளமாக இருக்கும். அதிதி இந்தப் படத்துக்குத் தேவையான எனர்ஜியை அற்புதமாகக் கொண்டு வந்துள்ளார். அவர் எனக்கு நல்ல தோழியாகிவிட்டார்.

A Promising Musical Drama Blending Love, Youth, College Memories and Emotions

Chennai: Million Dollar Studios, headed by producer Yuvraj Ganesan, is all set to release its upcoming Tamil film Once More, directed by debutant filmmaker Vignesh Srikanth. Starring Arjun Das and Aditi Shankar in the lead roles, the film is a musical drama centred around love, youthful emotions, friendship and unforgettable college memories.

Popular model Sona Olikkal plays a key role in the film, while acclaimed composer Hesham Abdul Wahab, who won widespread appreciation for his music in Hridayam, makes his Tamil debut as a music director with Once More.

Ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on August 28, the trailer launch event of Once More was held in Chennai in the presence of the film’s cast, crew and members of the media.

Ira Saravanan

Speaking at the event, director and producer Ira Saravanan said that August 28 will be an important day for his close friend and producer Yuvraj Ganesan, as Once More is scheduled to release in theatres on the same day that Anbe Diana arrives on OTT.

He praised the film after watching it and described it as being beautifully crafted, almost like poetry. He also appreciated Arjun Das for his performance as the protagonist, saying that although he enjoys watching the actor in villainous roles, Arjun has excelled as a hero in Once More.

He further praised Aditi Shankar and said that she has delivered an impressive performance in the film. He wished Once More a grand success and hoped audiences would enjoy it so much that they would ask for “Once More” after watching it in theatres.

Actress Kala

Actress Kala said that Once More reminded her of her college days and created a sense of nostalgia. She added that the film makes one wonder how wonderful it would have been if their own college experiences had been similar.

Praising director Vignesh Srikanth, she said he has handled the film beautifully. She also appreciated the performances of Arjun Das and Aditi Shankar and thanked everyone involved in the project.

Hesham Abdul Wahab

Music director Hesham Abdul Wahab said that after Hridayam, Once More was one of the Tamil films he enjoyed working on the most.

Calling it his first Tamil film as a music director, Hesham said the entire album was created with a great deal of enthusiasm and celebration. He praised Vignesh Srikanth for creating a story that audiences can easily connect with.

He also thanked the musicians and lyricist Sreekanth who worked on the songs and expressed confidence that the album would continue to be enjoyed by audiences for years to come.

Sona Olikkal

Actress Sona Olikkal described the day as extremely special and said she had been eagerly waiting for the film’s release.

She thanked director Vignesh Srikanth and producer Yuvraj Ganesan for giving her the important role of Indira. She also expressed gratitude to Arjun Das for being supportive throughout the shoot and said Aditi Shankar became a close friend from the very first day of filming.

Sona added that she is eagerly looking forward to August 28 and believes audiences will connect with the film.

Producer Yuvraj Ganesan said that the entire team had been waiting for this moment for a long time. Although several release dates had been planned earlier, the film could not make it to theatres due to various reasons. He confirmed that Once More will finally hit screens on August 28.

He praised debutant director Vignesh Srikanth for bringing a fresh perspective to every scene and said the film would serve as an important milestone in the filmmaker’s career.

Since the film is strongly driven by music, the team had extensive discussions before approaching Hesham Abdul Wahab. After listening to the story, Hesham immediately agreed to come on board and delivered music beyond their expectations.

Yuvraj also praised Aditi Shankar for her cooperation and performance. He revealed that the team approached her after watching Maaveeran and appreciated her willingness to be part of the film.

He further said that Once More would not have been possible without Arjun Das. According to him, the actor’s dedication and support became one of the film’s biggest strengths. He praised Arjun for making himself available whenever the team needed him and for working with complete commitment.

Director Vignesh Srikanth

Director Vignesh Srikanth said that he had been waiting for this day for a long time and expressed happiness that Once More is finally set to reach audiences.

He dedicated the film to veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam, saying that watching his films inspired him to become a director. He described Once More as his “love letter” to Mani Ratnam.

Vignesh revealed that Arjun Das was the only actor he had in mind while writing the character of Raghu. He said Arjun completely transformed himself into the character and delivered a performance that exceeded his expectations.

He also thanked Aditi Shankar for her support during the challenging shoot and praised Sona Olikkal, who is also making her acting debut with the film.

Highlighting the importance of music in Once More, Vignesh said Hesham Abdul Wahab’s music has taken the film to another level. He added that the visuals and music blend so seamlessly that they cannot be viewed separately.

Aditi Shankar thanked producer Yuvraj Ganesan for bringing Once More to the big screen and for introducing a talented filmmaker like Vignesh Srikanth.

She revealed that the film came to her during a particularly difficult phase in her life and that playing the character of Anjali and being part of the shoot brought her immense positivity and happiness.

Aditi also praised Hesham Abdul Wahab and said that he had created a beautiful song especially for her in the film.

Speaking about Arjun Das, she recalled meeting him for the first time at an Anirudh concert, where she had taken a photograph with him as a fan. She said it was now a great pleasure to share screen space with him.

Aditi added that audiences would get to see Arjun Das in a completely different avatar as a lover boy and expressed confidence that he would win the hearts of viewers.

Arjun Das recalled his first meeting with director Vignesh Srikanth, who initially narrated only the film’s one-line idea to him. Impressed by the concept, Arjun agreed to hear the complete screenplay later.

He revealed that while Vignesh was pitching the script to several production houses, some people suggested that another hero be chosen instead of Arjun Das. However, Vignesh remained firm that Arjun was the only actor who could play Raghu and stood by his decision.

Arjun thanked the filmmaker for placing complete faith in him. He admitted that there were moments when even he wondered whether he could pull off the character, but Vignesh’s confidence gave him the strength to do it.

He also praised Hesham Abdul Wahab and recalled appreciating his music in Hridayam. When Vignesh narrated the musical nature of Once More, Arjun suggested approaching Hesham, who immediately agreed to compose for the film.

Arjun praised Sona for her performance as Indira and said the film would provide her with an important identity as an actress. He also appreciated Aditi Shankar for bringing the required energy to the film and said she had become a close friend.

Arjun thanked producer Yuvraj Ganesan and Million Dollar Studios for standing by the project despite the challenges faced during its making.

Describing Once More as a beautiful and honest love drama, Arjun said the film is very close to his heart and expressed confidence that audiences would enjoy it.
