‘சிக்மா’ என் கனவுப் பயணத்தின் தொடக்கம் – இயக்குநர் ஜேசன் சஞ்சய்
அறிமுக இயக்குநராக முதல் படத்தை எதிர்கொள்ளும் ஜேசன் சஞ்சய் – நம்பிக்கை, உழைப்பு, விடாமுயற்சியுடன் உருவான ‘சிக்மா’
லைகா புரொடக்ஷன்ஸ் சார்பில் சுபாஸ்கரன் தயாரித்துள்ள ‘சிக்மா’ திரைப்படத்தின் மூலம் இயக்குநராக தனது பயணத்தைத் தொடங்குகிறார் ஜேசன் சஞ்சய். சந்தீப் கிஷன், ஃபரியா அப்துல்லா உள்ளிட்டோர் நடித்துள்ள இப்படம் அக்டோபர் 2ஆம் தேதி உலகம் முழுவதும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது. சக்தி ஃபிலிம் இப்படத்தை விநியோகம் செய்கிறது.
தனது முதல் படத்தின் வெளியீட்டை எதிர்நோக்கியிருக்கும் ஜேசன் சஞ்சய், ‘சிக்மா’ உருவான விதம் குறித்தும், தன்னுடன் பயணித்த படக்குழுவினர் குறித்தும் தனது அனுபவங்களைப் பகிர்ந்துள்ளார்.
முதல் படத்தின் வெளியீடு உற்சாகத்தையும், அதே நேரத்தில் ஒரு பதற்றத்தையும் கொடுப்பதாக கூறும் ஜேசன் சஞ்சய், ‘சிக்மா’ ரசிகர்களுக்கு முழுமையான பொழுதுபோக்கு அனுபவத்தை வழங்கும் என்ற நம்பிக்கையை வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ளார்.

கதையின் மீது நம்பிக்கை வைத்து, தங்களது கதாபாத்திரங்களை முழுமையான அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் செய்த சந்தீப் கிஷன் மற்றும் ஃபரியா அப்துல்லா இருவருக்கும் என் நன்றி. சம்பத், ராஜு மாஸ்டர் உள்ளிட்ட அனைத்து நடிகர்களும் படத்திற்கு தங்களது சிறப்பான பங்களிப்பை வழங்கியுள்ளனர்.
ஒரு இயக்குநரின் எண்ணத்தைப் புரிந்துகொண்டு அதனை காட்சிகளாக மாற்றும் ஒளிப்பதிவாளர் கிடைப்பது மிகவும் முக்கியமானது. அந்த வகையில் கிருஷ்ணன் வசந்த் அவர்களுடன் பணியாற்றியது எனக்கு கிடைத்த மிகப்பெரிய வாய்ப்பு. அவரது காட்சிப் பார்வை ‘சிக்மா’ படத்தின் உருவாக்கத்திற்கு பெரிதும் உதவியது.
அதேபோல், எடிட்டர் பிரவீன் கே.எல். அவர்களின் அனுபவமும் புரிதலும் படத்திற்கு மிகப்பெரிய பலமாக அமைந்தது. தமன் அமைத்துள்ள இசையும், அவரது அதிரடியான இசைக் கோர்வைகளும் படத்தின் விறுவிறுப்பை மேலும் அதிகரித்துள்ளன.
ஒரு திரைப்படம் என்பது தனி ஒருவரின் முயற்சியால் உருவாகாது. ஒட்டுமொத்த படக்குழுவினரின் உழைப்பும் ஒத்துழைப்பும் சேர்ந்துதான் ஒரு படைப்பு உருவாகிறது. அந்த வகையில் எக்ஸிகியூட்டிவ் புரொடியூசர் சுப்ரமணியன் நாராயணன் மற்றும் கிரியேட்டிவ் புரொடியூசர் சஞ்சீவ் ஆகியோரின் பங்களிப்பு மிகவும் முக்கியமானது.
ஆக்ஷன் காட்சிகளை சிறப்பாக வடிவமைத்த வெங்கட் மற்றும் சில்வா இருவருக்கும் நன்றி. படத்தின் கதைக்களத்திற்கு தேவையான வேகத்தையும் விறுவிறுப்பையும் அவர்களின் பணிகள் கொண்டு வந்துள்ளன. படத்தின் ஒவ்வொரு காட்சியும் கதையின் தன்மைக்கும், அதன் உணர்வுக்கும் ஏற்ற வகையில் கவனமாக உருவாக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
சினிமா என்பது முதன்மையாக ரசிகர்களை மகிழ்விக்கும் ஒரு பொழுதுபோக்கு ஊடகம். அந்த வகையில் ‘சிக்மா’வை ஒரு விறுவிறுப்பான, சுவாரஸ்யமான திரையரங்கு அனுபவமாக கொடுக்க வேண்டும் என்பதே எங்களது நோக்கம். மொழி மற்றும் பிராந்திய எல்லைகளைத் தாண்டி பல்வேறு தரப்பினரையும் சென்றடையக்கூடிய படமாக இதை உருவாக்க வேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணத்துடன்தான் பணியாற்றினோம்.
ஒரு படைப்பின் மீது நம்பிக்கை இருப்பது அவசியம். அதே நேரத்தில் அந்த நம்பிக்கை பணிவுடன் இருக்க வேண்டும் என்பதையும் நான் நம்புகிறேன். அந்த நம்பிக்கையுடனும் பணிவுடனும் ‘சிக்மா’வை ரசிகர்களிடம் கொண்டு வருகிறோம்.
சினிமா என்ற மிகப்பெரிய உலகில், ஒரு அறிமுக இயக்குநராக என்னுடைய பயணத்தைத் தொடங்குகிறேன். இந்தப் பயணத்தில் ரசிகர்களின் ஆதரவும் வரவேற்பும் எனக்கு மிகவும் முக்கியமானவை. அக்டோபர் 2ஆம் தேதி திரையரங்குகளில் ‘சிக்மா’வை பார்த்து, இந்தப் பயணத்தில் எங்களுடன் இணைந்துகொள்ளுமாறு ரசிகர்களை அன்புடன் கேட்டுக்கொள்கிறேன்” என்று ஜேசன் சஞ்சய் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
‘Sigma’ Marks Jason Sanjay’s Directorial Journey of Trust, Hard Work and Perseverance
Lyca Productions, headed by Subaskaran, is all set to present ‘Sigma’, which marks the directorial debut of Jason Sanjay. Starring Sundeep Kishan, Faria Abdullah and others, the film is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on October 2, with Sakthi Film handling its distribution.
Ahead of the film’s release, Jason Sanjay opened up about his experience of making his first film, the people who supported his vision and what audiences can expect from ‘Sigma’.
Speaking about the release, Jason Sanjay said that he feels both excited and nervous as his debut film approaches theatres. However, he expressed confidence that the team has delivered an engaging theatrical experience that will live up to audience expectations.
“For any filmmaker, especially someone making their debut, having people who believe in their vision is a huge blessing. I am sincerely grateful to Lyca Productions Chairman Subaskaran for trusting me and giving me the opportunity to begin my journey as a director. I would also like to thank Thamizh Kumaran, who guided and supported us throughout the making of the film,” he said.
Jason Sanjay also expressed his gratitude to the lead actors Sundeep Kishan and Faria Abdullah for believing in the story and approaching their roles with complete dedication. He thanked actors Sampath, Raju Master and the entire cast and crew for their contribution to the film.
Speaking about his technical team, he highlighted the importance of having collaborators who understand a director’s creative vision.
“For a filmmaker, having a cinematographer who understands and connects with your visual thought process is a great blessing. I consider myself fortunate to have worked with Krishnan Vasanth. His visual perspective and understanding played a significant role in shaping ‘Sigma’,” he said.
He also credited editor Praveen K.L. for bringing his experience and understanding to the film, while describing composer Thaman’s music and energetic score as an important element that adds to the film’s excitement.
According to Jason Sanjay, ‘Sigma’ would not have been possible without the collective efforts of the entire team. He particularly acknowledged the contributions of Executive Producer Subramanian Narayanan and Creative Producer Sanjeev.
He also praised action choreographers Venkat and Silva for creating sequences that add energy and excitement to the central narrative. Every scene, he added, has been carefully designed to suit the visual tone and emotional requirements of the story.
“Cinema is ultimately a medium of entertainment. With that in mind, we have put in our best efforts to make ‘Sigma’ an engaging and fast-paced theatrical experience. We wanted to create a film that could connect with audiences across different regions and transcend language and geographical boundaries,” Jason Sanjay said.
He further emphasised that confidence in a creative work should always be accompanied by humility.
“I believe that confidence in a creation should always go hand in hand with humility. With that confidence and humility, we are bringing ‘Sigma’ to theatres on October 2. I invite audiences to watch the film in theatres and experience this journey with us,” he added.
Describing his entry into the world of cinema as the beginning of a new journey, Jason Sanjay said that the love and support of audiences would mean the most to him as a debut filmmaker.
“Cinema is a vast ocean of talent, and I am beginning my journey in it as another debut director. The support and acceptance of audiences are more important to me than anything else. I request everyone to watch ‘Sigma’ in theatres on October 2 and support us,” he concluded.
